Volkswagen Group of America is recalling certain 2018-2020 Audi A3 vehicles due to a defect in the suction jet pump seal within the fuel tank. This issue can lead to fuel leaking from the charcoal canister, posing a fire risk. The remedy involves replacing the suction pump free of charge.
2015-2020 Audi A3 Fuel Leak Investigation & Recall
NHTSA opened investigation RQ23007 into 2015-2020 Audi A3, S3, and RS3 models for fuel leaks caused by suction jet pump failure. This led to recall 24V-110, replacing the pump to prevent leaks, refueling spit back, refueling shutoff, and fuel odor.
