2023-2025 Audi Q7/SQ7 Door Creaking Noise TSB

Symptoms

According to TSB 57 24 46 2074129/2, the root cause of the creaking or groaning door noise is a manufacturing inconsistency in the production of the door arresters. These noises occur as the arrester bar travels into and out of its guide. Audi has implemented a production solution to correct the manufacturing process for door arresters.

This Technical Service Bulletin 57 24 46 2074129/2, dated June 21, 2024, supersedes the previous Technical Service Bulletin Group 57 number 24-44, which was dated June 5, 2024. The revision history indicates that Revision 2 updated the header to add model years and correct VIN breaks, while Revision 1 was the initial publication.

Repair Procedure Summary

To resolve the 2025 Audi Q7 door noise, the affected door arrester must be replaced. The improved door arrester can be identified by its production date and part version number, which are stamped on the component. Technicians must ensure the replacement part has a production date greater than or equal to week 17 of 2024 (e.g., "24/17") and a part version equal to or greater than "03S".
