Replace Video Cables (If Necessary): If the fault persists after replacing the exterior mirror mountings, all video cables connected between the driver assist systems control unit J1121 and the overhead view cameras must be replaced. • The two door wiring harnesses for the driver door (part number XXX.971.029.XX, diagram 972-033 / 972-330) and front passenger door (part number XXX.971.030.XX, diagram 972-035 / 972-350) are also replaced (depicted in Figure 3).
• Finally, the adapter wiring harness in the front bumper (part number XXX.971.192.X) connected to the front overhead view camera R243 is replaced (refer to diagram 907-045 / 907-260, illustrated in Figure 4).
