SummaryDealer Package: 09/14/2018 The note in the ?Parts Ordering Process? section to reference POL17-16 to determine the applicable U-joint kit part # has been removed. T-SB-0302-17 has been updated with this information. Toyota has received a number of reports regarding Propeller Shaft Universal Joints on certain 2005 ? 2011 model year Tacoma vehicles. In these reports, customers have indicated that there is a drivetrain vibration and/or drivetrain noise. If the vehicle continues to be driven with the aforementioned condition, there is risk of severe damage to the propeller shaft. Although the Propeller Shaft Universal Joints are covered by Toyota?s Powertrain Limited Warranty for 5 years or 60,000 miles (whichever occurs first), we at Toyota care about the customers? ownership experience. Toyota is now providing coverage for repairs related to this condition. The following information is provided to inform you and your staff of the program notification schedule and your degree of involvement.

SummaryTSB: All 2016 ? 2018 model year Land Cruiser and 2018 model year Sequoia, Tacoma, and Tundra vehicles are equipped with a Pre-Collision System (PCS), also known as Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) as part of Toyota Safety Sense. In some driving conditions, such as extended off-road use, driving with tire chains in adverse conditions, towing another vehicle, or when your vehicle is being towed, drivers should operate the vehicle with PCS OFF. Drivers may also prefer to maintain this setting after each IG cycle. SummaryTSB: Pre-Delivery Service (PDS) is a critical step in satisfying our new car customers. Customer feedback indicates the following areas deserve special attention when performing PDS: ? Careful inspection for paint chips/scratches and body dents/dings. ? Proper operation of electrical accessories (including interior light, clock, and radio reset). ? Interior cleanliness. ? Proper function of mechanical systems. Customer retention and proper maintenance of vehicles are and have always been a major focus for Toyota. To help remind customers that regular service is essential to the proper maintenance of the vehicle, dealers are required to install a service reminder sticker before delivery. By doing this, customers will be reminded to return to your dealership for service. Your current service reminder sticker may be used. (See PDS Check Sheet item 8 of ?Final Inspection and Cleaning.?) A new PDS Check Sheet has been developed for the 2019 model year Tacoma. Some check points have been added, expanded, or clarified. Bulletins are available for items in bold type.
