No incident. But it's a problem with the ABS. Dealership says it's nothing wrong with the brakes. But it is. Had a diagnostics done at Auto Zone, and it came back showing a code for the ABS system. But showed the service dept the code that it showed something is wrong with ABs. They still say nothing is wrong.

There is a transmission shudder when traveling around 30-40 MPH as well as sporadically when increasing speed. Recently, there is a very hard shift/jolt when transmission is shifting from 2nd to 3rd.

The lock indicators that show that the LATCH safety system belts are tightened stopped working and show as locked even if it is in fact unlocked. This can lead to the this being unlocked, getting loose, and the car seat potentially moving around. This was discovered while moving the car seat from one car to another.

SERVICE BRAKES
On 9/6/24 I pulled up to the gas pump and couldn’t stop. My brake light and warning light came on. I called Toyota and one of their service team members said it was covered because it was part of a repair kit that was completed on 9/2023. They then said that they did a recall repair at that time which involved the brake vacuum pump. I was not told this at the time. Now they say that this has failed and they refuse to fix it. I had no issues with my brakes until now. I haven’t seen any recalls on this car and I feel that Toyota don’t want to stand by there work.They were only repairing two sensors and they changed my rear brakes.

My 2019 Toyota Camry started to show an alert during driving which stated that the "break power is low" and to go to a dealer. This started on 9/9/24. I also noticed difficulty stopping the car at times. I took the car to local Toyota dealership and they diagnosed issue with brake booster requiring replacement. It seems there was a recall for some 2019 Toyota Camrys for a similar brake issue, although my car was not included in this recall.

My Toyota Camry SE 2017 while driving on freeway, my car started to smell like something burning few minutes later the car radio and lighting started to go crazy on off flashing randomly. going on off random screens by itself. i tried turning radio off but it wouldn't let me. when car turnkey is on without running the warning lights says check charging system. dealer says not sure why it says that but nothing wrong i replaced a battery already bottom half radio doesn't work. cranking sound in steering wheel prior to this about 5months replaced arm controls. Replaced axles my radio still has a issue working and my headlights keep burning out my air bag lights stay on when someone is in front seat or not in seat there for not properly working. wheel is really loose feeling

SERVICE BRAKES, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
1. 9/7/2024, Emergency braking activated at 65 mph while merging onto Interstate. No cars immediately in front of me. Stopped dead in travel route for about 2 minutes then restarted.(route 42 and 95 North) 2. Resulted in a near miss to several rear end collisions. 3. Will take to dealer 9/9/2024. 4. No warning or prior phantom braking.

The Shifting solenoid malfunctioned, burned up transmission and created a hazard on the roadway in high traffic areas. Vehicle stalled creating a backup in traffic and myself almost got rear ended. The Red McCombs Toyota did confirm it was a solenoid malfunction through a phone call and video. They concluded that the car is not operable. The problem has been inspected and was advised to pay a hefty fee of nearly $10,000. Prior to the failure no lights or warnings were provided by the car’s electrical system not until I parked and restarted the car that the lamps turned on after the failure.

The contact stated that the vehicle crashed into a tree head-on. The contact stated that the vehicle's front end was crushed by the tree, however, the driver's side air bag had not inflated. The contact stated that the police were on the scene and filed a report. The contact stated that his son was not injured and was not examined by any medical professionals. Drivers rear bumper just "fell off" bolts/ felt not staying in place. Resulted in bumper drag on ground and could have been a possible injury to fellow drivers. No warnings or messages appeard. A car beside me at the light pointed to me that the bumper just fell off. Luckily there was a Ford Dealer around the corner who zip tied the bumper on for me until I got home. The gentleman said in his 25 years in body work he has never seen this happen. He stated multiple bolts were missing under neath and didnt appear to be holding the bumper/felt on. Reported to my sales lady and showed pictures. She was to have dealership contact me but no one did. Paid $997 to have it replaced but the felt doesnt appear to still stay bolted to the rear bumper. The vehichle was inspected prior to purchase but no one ever returned my concern from the Dealership.

the left front suspension lower arm making weird noises while driving. Looks like it is related to open recall on same model "t he left front suspension lower arm may have an improperly manufactured bolt hole where it connects to the ball joint." But my vehicle in not included in open recall - called up toyota customer service and they asked me to go thru NHTSA.
