SummaryAmerican Automobile Labeling Act Label Dealer Inventory ***** Campaign Summary ***** Nissan North America is conducting a Quality Action for dealers to replace the American Automobile Labeling Act (AALA) labels. The AALA label on affected vehicles was inadvertently printed with incorrect Engine manufacturing location and percentage breakdown of parts content by country. Affected vehicles are not subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. In the interest of customer satisfaction, Nissan requests dealers to apply the replacement label on the affected vehicles prior to retail sale. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles currently in new dealerâs inventory are affected by this quality action using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaign I.D. ï§ - PM931 - Versa ï§ - PC713 - Titan ï· - New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§ - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information ï· - Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. Use the attached procedure to remedy vehicles affected by this quality action. 3. The service department should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action(s) performed so it can be closed on Service Comm and release the vehicle. 4. Dealers will receive one (1) label for every affected vehicle in dealer inventory via USPS. Labels will be sent to the Service Managerâs attention. If replacement labels are needed, please send your request to: [email protected] along with your dealer name, address, VIN, contact name and phone number. ï· - Labels will be mailed beginning October 23, 2019 and should arrive no later than October 25, 2019.

SummaryDriver Airbag Module Field Quality Parts Collection Initiative ***** Collection Initiative Summary ***** Nissan is conducting a special parts collection activity on certain 2012-2017 NV (F80), and 2013- 15 Armada (TA80) and Titan (A60) vehicles to replace the driver side airbag module free of charge. These vehicles are not subject to a recall. Instead, Nissan is collecting a limited number of modules for engineering study. Nissan will be notifying owners and asking them to participate in this important parts collection activity. As an incentive for participation, Nissan is offering a complimentary oil and filter change for participating customers. NOTE: Customers should be informed that this parts collection activity is time-limited. Once a sufficient number of in-use modules has been collected, this activity will end. ***** What Dealers Should Do**** 1. Verify if vehicles are eligible for this parts collection activity using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaign I.D. PC711. 2. Dealers should use NTB19-069 to service any NV, Armada, and Titan vehicles subject to this activity. 3. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. As part of this initiative, a complementary engine oil and filter change may be performed. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER For this initiative, Nissan has assigned identification number PC711. The correct number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature dealing with this initiative. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within the range of this initiative that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealerâs inventory.

The software updates in the following Service Procedure are for the items below: ï· Stability improvements and bug fixes ï· System enhancements that will allow future Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. Without these software updates, future OTAs will not be possible. Refer to step 5 on page 5 to confirm that this bulletin applies. HINT: The update software only needs to be downloaded once and can then be used on multiple Applied Vehicles until other infotainment software is loaded onto the USB drive to overwrite the original data.

Summary2016-2019 TITAN; MIL ON WITH DTC P0448 AND WATER IN EVAP FILTER IF YOU CONFIRM The MIL is ON with DTC P0448 (EVAP canister vent control valve close) stored in the ECM and water is found in the EVAP filter, canister, or vent control valve ACTION Remove and replace the: - Fuel filler tube. - EVAP filter. - EVAP canister. - EVAP vent control valve. - EVAP pressure sensor. IMPORTANT: Before any parts are removed from the vehicle, note the EVAP filter orientation and hose routing (take a photo). Hose routing and EVAP filter orientation is critical and varies depending on production date.

SummaryINTELLIGENT KEY DOES NOT WORK AFTER BATTERY REPLACEMENT SERVICE INFORMATION If the Intelligent Key of an APPLIED VEHICLE does not work after replacing the battery, inspect the positive (+) terminals. If the battery side of the Intelligent Key is held by pinching down on the terminals while removing the battery, it is possible to bend the terminals down far enough that they will not touch the contacts on the other half of the Intelligent Key. If the terminals are found to be bent down, pry them back up so that they will come in contact with the other half of the Intelligent Key?s contacts. - Refer to the photos on the following pages.
