Nissan put faulty roof rack seals on my vehicle. This is the same issue as they had in 2021 when they issued a service bulletin. They are willing to fix the roof rack seals but not replace the headliner. This has caused an unhealthy musty smell in the cabin and a big stain on the headliner and A-Pillars. Nissan corporate will not cover the cost of a new headliner and A-Pillars but can’t guarantee a stain free headliner to pre-stain condition

Our 2023 Nissan Rogue with only 15,000 miles suffered complete engine failure (engine seized) driving on busy [XXX] passing through Baltimore. The safety of myself and my family was put at risk, and if we hadn't been in the left lane (allowing rapid access to the breakdown lane) we would have been in a multi-car pile-up going at high speeds. Afterward, my safety was at risk waiting for 5h on the busy highway waiting for a tow truck. There was a slightly rough engine sound just 15-30 minutes prior to the engine seizure, but no warning messages. The only message that appeared was "Engine Failure" at the moment the engine seized. The car was towed to the local Firestone Service station where they confirmed engine seizure with normal oil levels. We do not know if the oil had been compromised by infusion of gasoline (as we have now discovered is a problem with the Nissan Rogue engine). The car was subsequently towed to Bob Bell Nissan in Baltimore, and they have yet to inform us of their conclusions after 5 days. Route 9 Nissan in Westborough (where we bought the care) did not inform us that this was a potential problem nor that it is under investigation by the NHTSA. While driving on the freeway, the overhead console fell from the ceiling of the vehicle. It dropped suddenly and apparently for no reason. Continued operation of the vehicle was impaired due to limited visibility. The dealership viewed the problem as an opportunity to sell parts. Pictures which are included in this communication were sent to the dealership, and, presumably, that is how they made their determination it was not a safety issue. There was no warning.

My 2022 Nissan Rouge S model began experiencing a strong gas smell inside the vehicle. Upon further inspection of the oil dipstick it smells heavily of gas. It has been to the dealership twice with absolutely no help or answers. It has also caused my engine oil levels to rise. I am concerned not only from a monetary stand point but more importantly from a safety standpoint i.e. engine stalls, fires etc.

The contact's girlfriend owns a 2022 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while his girlfriend was driving 65 MPH, the vehicle shuddered, went into LIMP Mode, and lost motive power. There was no warning light illuminated. The driver was able to veer to the side of the road. The vehicle failed to restart and was towed to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed that the engine was blown and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Action Number: PE23023 (Engine and Engine Cooling, Engine). The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 72,000.

Navigation system is unreliable and unsafe Nissan verified this and a failure and ordered a new unit 2 years ago and has not arrived and they refuse to fix it it the navigation drops out when driving in the middle of navigation causing a safety hazard and goes blank and I have to do a reset the dealer also has done resets and hasnt fixed it nissan has acknowledged the problem as there are many problems and dont care if its fixed many times ive had to go to my phone as this has display and system has almost got us killed many times....

The contact owns a 2018 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while loading objects into the cargo area with the liftgate raised, the liftgate unexpectedly closed. The contact stated that the liftgate was not responding to the key fob. The contact stated that the failure was a recurring failure, and recently the liftgate was opening independently. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed. The contact had talked to an independent mechanic who advised the contact to hold the close button down until the liftgate mechanism beeped three times. The contact stated that the remedy was not working. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 67,000.

Just sitting in the driver's seat of the vehicle and the rear window exploded. Nothing touched it, nothing hit or bumped it. It just shattered. The car was parked as I had just gotten into it less than a minute prior. Only the driver's door was opened and shut for me to get into the vehicle prior to this incident. The hatch was not opened or closed directly prior to the back glass exploding. Upon doing a simple Google search, I am finding that it has happened to other people as well with these vehicles.

During a rear end accident on the highway when someone slammed on their brakes, I hit them at around 40 mph and slamming on my brakes to prevent it and the airbags did not deploy. The light was on the dashboard after the accident as if they did the deploy, the seatbelt blew out and will no longer retract. The front frame of the vehicle bent inwards at a 90 degrees angle puncturing the AC compressor, though the bumper has minimal damage. MA State Troopers noted that damage and allowed me to drive off since "the vehicle is not over heating or leaking", a body shop then said my car is totaled. My insurance company is investigating why/how the frame obtained extensive damage though the outer body is not as damaged. The vehicle has been parked since the accident and is available for inspection. My safety was at risk with a significant crash and the airbags not deploying, the seatbelt injured me, I am under medical treatment for injuries obtained after this accident. I have a police report, I have an insurance claim, I believe this needs to be further investigated. My vehicle was bought used in 2017 from a Nissan Dealership, it has never been in an accident with me as the owner, but my insurance company found an unreported accident from 2014 which could relate to the airbags not deploying and the frame bending so significantly from a rear end accident.

I purchased the vehicle from seventy 7 auto on mahoning avenue in Youngstown Ohio I was never told that the car didn’t have airbags it has a oil leak and bad catalytic converter after I took it back to the dealer they checked it and said it was good to go as I was leaving the dealer ship I was on the highway driving at the speed limit which is 60 mph then my vehicle did a hard jerk making interrupt the flow of traffic and proceeded to jerk until I was able to make it off the highway and it was never any lights on to tell me my engine oil was leaking or that the car didn’t have any airbags at all

Driving on street when second row, passenger window literally exploded. No other cars near by, no impact of any kind…it simply exploded as if it were shot at. I actually called police and they said this did not happen. There are MANY reports on internet of similar occurrences to other people. Nissan accepts no responsibility.
