I was driving down the highway from the airport headed back home, and the car started to lose power. My foot was pressing the pedal to accelerate but the RPMS went past 3-4K and the speed kept going down. No engine lights showed up on the dash or any type of warning. I pulled over on the brim of the highway, I called someone who said to let it sit for a while and try again - i checked my radiator fluid - it was fine and didn't over heat. All electrical components work - i could barely accelerate. I was able to coast for a while at 60 mph and then when i needed to accelerate nothing happened. I tried to call the dealership today and they said there is no safety recalls - but i can see there is a CVT extended warranty in place, but not until 2014 Nissan rogue. I have a 2013 nissan rogue.

The vehicle will randomly stop shifting and will keep rpms aat or above 5,000 rpm when going 50mph or 6,000 if going 60. Reports error code p1778 step motor.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
My window on passenger side will roll down but not back up. The fuses are fine and i swapped out the switch panel, still doesn't work. From researching it seems that the master switch on drivers side window affects this. I've brought it to the Nissan dealer in Burns Harbor, IN and they first tried to tell me there wasnt a recall. I then saw on carfax that there was so I called back and then they said there was a recall but no remedy. This has been going on for 3 months that I continue to call Nissan and customer affairs etc. I have to pay to get it fixed because I have no other car and I transport my paralyzed daughter. This is ridiculous!!

AIR BAGS
Air bag light stayed on and could not get an inspection without a rejection sticker. Retired and very costly to repair, but had to repair it. Cost : $2,700 I will gladly send you the invoice if required. Southern Nissan repaired our car. Thanks in advance for your help.

The contact owns a 2015 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, there was an abnormal clicking sound coming from the vehicle. Several unknown warning lights illuminated and the vehicle failed to start. Additionally, the contact stated that the power window and door lock switches were no longer operative. The contact later received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V024000 (Electrical System). The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The manufacturer then aided with towing the vehicle to the dealer. The dealer diagnosed that the failure was associated to NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V024000 (Electrical System) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000. Sometimes the crash warning light turns on without a reason I had taken the truck to dealership for this and I was told it’s because it is stopping me from crashing but I don’t see how if there are no cars on front of me or anything at all also a lot of times the car will start shaking when stopping or accelerating again I call the dealership and nothing has been done

Airflow sensor Yes the engine light suddenly appear on my screen I was turning right going uphill when it happen the car makes like sudden stops and the engine feels like choking up doesn't want to move forward for few seconds Somebody check it and also use a machine fixer from to auto zone to identify the cause of the problem It happen this morning 🌄

I was going to work on pa turnpike was driving 70 mph 6:30 am there was nothing in front of me the automatic emergency braking system stoped my car for no reason thank God no one behind me like tractor trailer or I would have been killed I know there are problems with this system this wasn't the first time like the third time it happened also my warning light came on said obstructed don't know but was not safe they need to recall this and find a solution how many of these automatic emergency braking system stoped other's it is very unsafe when your on a highways or any road

The contact owns a 2017 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that upon driving from a complete stop, the accelerator pedal was depressed but the vehicle failed to respond and the transmission slipped. The contact continued to depress the accelerator pedal and the vehicle responded by jolting inadvertently thirty minutes later. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had been reoccurring increasingly and the check engine light would illuminate intermittently. The dealer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. Additionally, the contact stated while driving at 30 MPH and approaching another vehicle, the brake pedal was depressed but failed to respond, causing the vehicle to crash into the rear end of the occupied vehicle. The airs bags failed to deploy and the seat belt failed to engage, causing the contact to hit her head against the windshield and hit her chest against the steering wheel. The contact sustain head injuries, memory loss, bruises on the chest, and whiplash. The contact did not seek medical assistance. The contact was unsure whether the other driver sustained injuries. A police report was filed. The contact was able to drive the vehicle to her mother-in-law's residence which was 2 to 3 blocks away. The dealer was not notified of the failure. I tried to start my car in November 2021 and it was dead. Bought a new battery, replaced with old, since this, driver window has a delay and AC unit would turn off of recirculating to open air on its own or just wouldn’t blow cold intermittently. Then on April 28, 2022 - my battery was dead, upon my own inspection, found corrosion on the positive terminal. Knowing that my battery was new - this was alarming. Cleaned off the corrosion and car starts up - but still experiencing the driver window issue and AC is now working but extremely cold on lowest setting.

Passenger airbag sensor defective and doesn't work. Driver side seat is loose. These are safety issues and I shouldn't have to pay $3k to have them fixed especially when other 2017 rogues have had recalls for same problems, just different lots. Can't afford to fix and can't buy something new.

As I was driving on the highway, my vehicle stopped driving forward and operating as if it was in neutral. My vehicle started rolling backwards on the road so I turned into the shoulder. I turned my car on and off to see if it would correct and it did not. Now, the Nissan dealership is replacing the entire transmission.

i am driving a 2018 Nissan rogue, currently has 65000miles on it. May 1st 2022 8 pm, while i was driving at 35 miles per hour, the car suddenly triggered its emergency brake and brought the car to a full stop in the middle of the road. there is no obstruction around me at all. imagine this happens on a heavy traffic highway, i can be killed this way.
