SummaryIf the exhaust flap is operated or the drive program is changed within 10 seconds of the engine being started, an audible humming noise may emit from the speakers. New sound amp (N40/3) software is currently in development. This document will be updated once it is released. Meanwhile, avoid toggling the drive program or the exhaust flap with 10 seconds of an engine start to avoid the possibility of the complaint occurring. Note: Do not replace any parts as this will not remedy the complaint

SummaryComplaint: Height adjustment of electric steering column adjustment jams in upper / lower adjustment position or it generates a cracking noise when exiting the upper /lower adjustment position (e.g. for Easy Entry function). Cause: Height adjustment runs into upper / lower limit stop and jams there or generates a breakaway cracking noise when exiting the jammed limit stop. Remedy: 1. Move fore/aft adjustment to the end position. 2. Release jamming of height adjustment by knocking with palm of hand onto top of steering wheel. At the same time, push adjusting switch (downwards). 3. Commission driver's seat control unit. While doing so, - the control unit software is updated, if necessary - the limit stops are cleared and normalized again - and any renewed jamming is prevented 4. Once commissioning has been completed the vehicle can be handed over to the customer.

SummaryMercedes-Benz AG (?MBAG?), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain Model Year 2018-2019 C and E-Class vehicles (205/238 platforms), an incorrect activated carbon filter might have been installed. In this case, the vehicle may not meet emission and certification requirements. MBUSA will conduct a voluntary Emission Recall Campaign in which an authorized Mercedes- Benz dealer will check the activated carbon filter, and replace it, if necessary.

SummaryTo enhance the satisfaction of our customers, avoid further costs of litigation and return focus to its core businesses, Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) has entered into a settlement regarding claims relating to allegations that the ?590 Mars Red? paint available as an original, exterior color option for certain models of Mercedes-Benz vehicles may experience peeling, flaking, or bubbling of the exterior paint or clear coat. This ?Mars Red? paint is sometimes referred to as ?Fire Opal.? A motion for approval of the settlement was filed with the Court on December 21, 2020. The settlement must receive final approval from the court before it takes effect. As part of the settlement, MBUSA has agreed to offer sliding-scale warranty coverage for certain vehicles to repaint any non-plastic exterior surface of a Subject Vehicle because of peeling, flaking, or bubbling of the exterior paint or clear coat. This warranty coverage does not cover repainting necessitated by external influences such as automobile accidents, scratches, or road debris. Warranty coverage will not take effect until the settlement is judicially approved and other events occur. If the settlement becomes effective, coverage will include inspection of the vehicle to diagnose the possible cause of any observed peeling, flaking, or bubbling of the exterior paint or clear coat.
