  Some customers may experience a vehicle no start (no "Ready-ON") due to the 12V battery discharged or the High Voltage (HV) battery discharged. This may be caused by: Ignition left ON when exiting the vehicle (exiting the vehicle during "Ready-On"). Door/liftgate opened multiple times without ignition "Ready-ON" or driving vehicle. Installation of aftermarket electronic devices. To minimize the battery drain concern, ensure that the vehicle shift selector is in Park when exiting and verify the ignition is turned OFF when exiting. NOTE: If multiple door/liftgate opening without "Ready-ON', drive vehicle to charge 12V battery.

  The 7G large platform utilizes a new 8-speed automatic transmission. Due to changes in the parking lock mechanism, which is now hydraulically operated, the neutral range in the transmission can only be achieved if the engine is running (or “Ready-On” for PHEV). With this design, there is no provision to manually engage neutral. This can cause challenges to dealers, customers, or towing providers when a vehicle cannot start and can't move, usually due to a discharged (dead) battery. In the event that a vehicle cannot be started or achieve “ready-on”, wheel dollies must be used to allow the vehicle to be rolled and moved. NOTE: The following procedure is for moving vehicle around the service shop and not for towing purposes. Please reference the owner's manual for towing instructions.

  Some customers may experience a warning message for the approaching vehicle audible system (AVAS) right after the ignition is turned on (POWER ON) while a loud noise, such as a horn, occurs close to the vehicle. Upon inspection, DTC B1A03:2B [ISB_AMP] (AVAS device circuit malfunction) is stored in memory. This may be caused by an internal initial diagnosis in the notification and warning amplifier detecting a false malfunction under this particular situation. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the notification and warning amplifier has been modified.

  A kick-down switch has been adopted to determine when the customer has fully depressed the throttle pedal for maximum acceleration. A load can be felt while the accelerator pedal is being depressed. When the accelerator pedal is depressed further, the kick-down switch is activated and a click is felt. The driver can control the kick-down by knowing the amount of accelerator depression. An electrical signal is not transmitted by the kick-down switch turning on/off.

  Some customers may experience the following symptoms: No sound from some audio sources (AM, FM, SiriusXM®) after turning the ignition on. Radio station selection (AM, FM, SiriusXM®) changes unintentionally after turning the ignition on. Audio source cannot be changed. Diagnosing according to MGSS online does not solve the problem. These concerns may be caused by the remote tuner not operating properly under certain situations. To eliminate these concerns, the remote tuner control software has been modified.

  Some customers may complain about color discrepancies (brightness differences) of the image displayed on the screen when using the 360°view monitor. As this phenomenon is not a system failure, do not make any repairs or replace any parts. Explain the cause of this occurrence to the customer as follows: The 360°view monitor is a system that provides a complete picture of the vehicle surroundings by combining the pictures captured by 4 separate cameras. These cameras are installed in the front, rear, right and left sides of the vehicle. Each camera has a color adjustment function (white balance) that operates independently from each other, which can result in color discrepancy when the combined picture is displayed on the screen. This is especially true when one of the cameras captures more green objects than the remaining cameras.
