American Honda Motor Company (Honda) is recalling certain 2016-2022 Honda Pilot, 2017-2023 Ridgeline, 2019-2023 Passport, and 2014-2020 Acura MDX vehicles that were sold in Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wisconsin. The rear subframe may corrode at the suspension mounting points, which can result in rear suspension component failure.
Honda (America Honda Motor Co) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Ridgeline vehicles. The rearview camera (RVC) tailgate wire harness may fatigue and break, which can prevent the rearview camera image from displaying.
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Civic, 2020-2023 Ridgeline, 2021-2023 Passport, 2021-2022 Pilot, and 2020 Acura MDX vehicles. The tie rod fastener that connects the brake booster and the brake master cylinder may have been improperly assembled during manufacturing, which can cause the brake master cylinder to separate from the booster assembly.
The component that failed is the starter motor assembly. It is currently installed in the vehicle and is available for inspection upon request. This failure creates a severe safety hazard by disabling critical Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). When the vehicle's Auto Idle Stop feature engages at a stop and then attempts to restart the engine, the internally defective starter draws excessive current. This causes the vehicle's electrical system voltage to plummet to 9 Volts. This sudden low-voltage condition immediately triggers warning messages and disables the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) and the Forward Collision Warning system. My safety and the safety of others are put at immediate risk because the primary emergency automatic braking systems are deactivated during normal driving operation. The problem has been definitively reproduced and confirmed by an authorized Honda dealership. The manufacturer is aware of this defect and issued TSB 23-010 and a March 2023 Warranty Extension covering this exact issue. Initially, at the manufacturer's instruction, the authorized dealer performed a valve adjustment. However, on May 20, 2026, the dealership's technician officially documented on the repair order: "After repair battery voltage still dropping to 9V when restarting." Despite written confirmation from their own authorized dealership that the dangerous voltage drop and safety system failures persist, the manufacturer's District Parts & Service Manager denied the subsequent required starter motor replacement. The vehicle was fully inspected and diagnosed by the dealer, but the manufacturer refuses to complete the hardware repair, leaving the vehicle in an unsafe condition. The warning symptoms include a strained engine restart from an Auto Idle Stop event, immediately followed by CMBS and Forward Collision warning lamps illuminating on the dashboard

Car failed to restart engine after auto stop/start, battery is fairly new and was replaced because a few incidents like this and assumed it was a faulty battery. It becomes a very dangerous situation when trying to join traffic while exiting a parking lot or when stopped at a traffic light and the car does nor restart. It has to be placed in park, turned off, open a door, close it and then press the ignition button to start again.

just got on the freeway when car lost power, slowed down, check engine light turns on, and more lights start flashing. Potentially could have caused an accident if I was going faster on road. Went to mechanic, Code P0301, after diagnosis, fuel injectors failing. Mechanic was able to reproduce incident. Similar to recall for previous models, but not recalled on 2022 model. Need to replace fuel injectors. Had minor loss of power a few days prior, but not as severe
