The dealership has done everything within their power to address my camera failure, and I want to be absolutely clear: this is not a dealer issue. This is a Ford issue. There is an active safety recall on the camera system, yet Ford has failed to provide a true fix. Selling vehicles with a known safety defect, acknowledging it with a recall, and then leaving customers without a resolution is unacceptable and irresponsible. The cameras were a deciding factor in my purchase, and their ongoing failure directly compromises safety. A recall without a repair is nothing more than empty words. Ford must deliver a real solution immediately, not continue to stall while customers are left driving unsafe vehicles.

My 2022 Ford E-Transit 350 has had repeated safety and performance failures. The vehicle has an open recall on the rearview camera, which caused a police incident when I hit another car because the camera was not working properly. On several occasions, the vehicle has also completely shut down and would not start at all, leaving me stranded. The van often loses acceleration, gets stuck at 20 mph, and becomes unsafe to drive. The brakes, electrical system, and propulsion system have all malfunctioned. Despite multiple visits to Ford dealers, the problems remain. I have had to rent vehicles at my own expense since no loaner was provided. These failures put my safety and the safety of others at serious risk. I have police reports, medical certificates (including 12 days of medical leave), dealer invoices, and photos fully documenting everything.

This will be our second Balmar alternator that failed. The original alternator was replaced in March 2025 after the alternator basically melted. In April the new alternator was no longer charging the battery. It was finally serviced in July 2025. The dealership replaced a sensor and the recall to reduce the alternator output was performed. The recall was supposed to prevent the alternator from failing, however, two days later the alternator was no longer working. August 2025, the dealership has been discussing the issue with Winnebago and Balmar. September 2025 it was confirmed that the alternator needs to be replaced. This is a huge safety issue since the alternator will create a fire under the hood which was the case in our first incidence. This is also a continuos problem with the Winnebago Ekko’s and a solution should not be to keep replacing the alternator with the same exact make and model.

I went to dealer to dealer and they told me they could not fix it because there is no remedy not yet available. They camera is also working fine, no issue at all. Could you be able to remove this recall for me or update me when there is an update? I use this vehicle for a business and BECAUSE of the recall, I am not allowed to use this vehicle for a commercial use. Could you please unrestrict the vehicle so I can use this vehicle for commercial again? I have attached the recall issue, Could you please help me resolve this issue? Thank you so much. The engine 'start-stop' feature is permanently 'ON' . The ability to temporarily disable it has been removed by a Ford software update. Case #00715259 was opened with Ford, vehicle taken to Capitol Ford, Carson City NV, for verification. Dealer verifies that although the start stop feature works correctly the option to temporarily disable it was removed by a Ford software update in August 2023 with no plans to restore it. In mountain driving not being able to disengage this feature is dangerous. Attempting to enter an intersection with a loaded vehicle and having the engine stop just before accelerating will eventually cause an accident. The option to temporarily disable 'start stop' must be restored before someone loses their life at a busy intersection.

Issue is with Hankook tires. Mileage on original OEM tires on my campervan from Ford. 44,600 miles. Good tread, air pressure checked daily on trips. Date code of manufacture of tires: 41st week, 2020. Took ownership of campervan on Dec 6th, 2021. Travel west on I-696 at 70 mph. Driver’s left front tire exploded. I did not hit anything in the road way. In the second lane from right side of freeway. Was able to safely move to the shoulder of the freeway. Tread completely came off the tire. Broke bumper, damages sensors, bent floor pan, and cracked driver side step. Insurance claim filed with Progressive Insurance, and will be inspected on Aug 22nd. Tires will be replaced on Aug 12th at Discount Tire with Toyo Celsius tires. Tire is not available for inspection but multiple photos are available.

Problem: Ongoing failure of 360 degree view, as described in Safety Recall Notice 23S48 / NHTSA Recall 23V598: "rear camera blue or black image when placed in reverse or 360 degree view is selected." First noted around August 2023, but still happening. Vehicle was taken to a dealer for repair, but the same symptom (see 360 degree view in uploaded photo) recurred soon after repair, and has been confirmed by dealer. Dealer now says the symptom (rear camera blue or black image when placed in reverse or 360 degree view) is not covered by the recall notice Vehicle is available for inspection upon request.

- #11672303July 9, 2025TIRES
After purchasing brand tires from the Ford dealership, I began experiencing vibrations between 75mph-80mph. I reported this issue to the dealer, but they disregarded my concerns. Subsequently, I consulted my personal mechanic, who conducted a Road Force Balance test, indicating that tire number 4 is defective. I possess documentation supporting this claim, and the dealer manager has failed to respond to me for over a week.

- #11668122June 20, 2025TIRES:TREAD/BELT
Driver noticed excessive vibration when driving vehicle on June 17, 2025. The next day, the vehicle was taken to Mavis Tire & Brakes, Flagler Beach, FL, who confirmed a tread separation on the driver's side front tire. The tire is a HANKOOK Dynapro HT 205/75R16C. This tire is an original tire from when the vehicle was purchased new. The tire shop exchanged the faulty tire with the spare. If the vehicle were to continue to be driven, eventually the tread would have delaminated completely, causing a potential accident. This is the SECOND Hankook tire to fail this way on this vehicle. I did not report the first incident to NHTSA.
