The morning of September 28th, weather conditions ranging from mist to torrential downpour. Between Glasgow, KY and Glendale, KY. Wipers were set between intermittent and fast, depending on conditions. On (5) occasions (it may have been six), when the wipers were changed from an intermittent position to fast, the wipers would malfunction. The wipers were in high speed. The wipers were about 1/4 way up from the rest position during the cycle and they STOPPED. The pause lasted between 0.5 and 2 seconds (my estimate). Then the wipers would go to full advance position and return to the home position in normal speed. Once the wipers passed the home position and started the next wipe cycle, they resumed high speed motion.

Right DRL LED strip broken and will not illuminate. Outside of the 3 year/36K mile warranty and Ford will not repair despite numerous owners reporting the same issue and the 2022 models having a recall for them. The same should be extended to 2021 owners.

Was driving less than 30 mph slowing down to turn on Hwy 185 in Port O Connor, Labor day 9-2-2023 busy day on road truck just locked up and stopped, could not push, engine was running truck would not move. County sheriff said it had to be moved now completely off the hiway or county would send a tow truck and put in impound lot since tires over the white line. THis is a 2 lane Hwy with no shoulders, part on private property part on hwy 185. We put in neutral towed it 1 1/2 blocks to friends property. Took 3 weeks for Ford to look at it and will not fix the REAR end which they say is damaged beyond repair and want Dealership will not warranty it truck has 55,000 miles. Truck just came to Sudden stop, and would not move 3 of us tried to push it off the road. if any cars was was behind me there would have been a crash them hitting me, it acted like the parking brake was slammed on with the auto parking brake system dealer says wires not chafed but refuses to claim warranty with ford.

- #11546412September 25, 2023VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
My truck accelerated on its own , repeatedly, while highway driving . Had to drive with brakes on until I was able to pull over . Turned off truck , waited a few minutes , turned back on and without having my foot anywhere near the accelerator, the truck accelerated on its own , as if someone was gunning the engine - while still in park . Turned off again . NOTHING was near my accelerator to cause this - I managed to get to the dealership . They said it was my floor mats that caused the problem . They found nothing mechanical. I assured them the mat was not the cause - this truck nearly killed me and I know something is wrong with it . The acceleration was constant , the engine noise loud as if gunning - cruise control was not on . The truck has been driven several times by my husband and nothing has happened, but I will never drive it as it scared the life out of me . This is my 4th F-150 - I know the truck and know how to drive it . This is not normal obviously, and it isn’t the mat . I used the exact same mats in my previous truck for almost 5 years . Then transferred them - it’s NOT the problem ! The truck is dangerous and something is wrong .

Wheel end hub bolt sheared off of rear axle while driving. This causes an unstable axle and potential for increased wear on all connected wheel components which can lead to an accident with potential for injury or death.

- #11545817September 21, 2023SERVICE BRAKES, STRUCTURE:BODY, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
1. Issue number one parking brake engages on and applies the brakes while the vehicle is moving. I had this issue happened to me at least three times; luckily I was not going very fast when it happened. Additionally, Parking brake light will come on at random times. (is not Auto Hold) 2. Multi-functions switch that controls turning signal gets stuck in the up or down position after engaging the switch to change lanes. When attempting to flip the turning signal to off the switch will get stuck and will only go back to off or neutral position after forcing the switch up or down. Additionally, when forcing the turning switch to the off position, it causes the high beams to turn on. 3. Pre-collision assist warning will come on at random times while driving. I have had this happen to me almost daily when I'm driving into work in the morning.

- #11545803September 21, 2023STEERING, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, LANE DEPARTURE: BLIND SPOT DETECTION
In April 2023, while driving to work, at least a dozen error messages were displayed on the instrument cluster. When I arrived at work and was driving at a slower speed, I noticed some irregular feedback in the steering wheel and quickly realized the power steering was intermittently disabling itself. The truck had just rolled over 30k miles at this point and was well within the manufacturer's warranty period. I took the truck to the dealer for repair and got the truck back within a few days and was told it was repaired. The very next morning while driving to work again, the same problem ensued again with a dozen error messages and the power steering intermittently disabling itself. I took the truck bad to the dealer, contacted Ford customer care, and they got an engineering team to help work the problem. The service advisor also told me there were 3 other vehicles at their dealer with the same problem. After more than 30 days of being at the dealer for repair, the truck was returned to me again. Everything seemed to be fine for a couple months and then it returned again with many error messages and power steering failures. On Monday this week I started to pull out in traffic and the power steering disabled and caused me to cross the 2-lane road into oncoming traffic.

Three times now a VERY loud static noise comes through the speakers when I start the truck. It sounds like a blown amplifier. It only lasts for a few seconds, but it is loud enough that my ears are still ringing. It would cause a wreck if it happens when driving. I am taking into Ford dealer on Monday, but they say they have never heard of the issue.

The electric trailer brakes only work intermittently. This results in dangerous situations where they fail without warning. An update was made in 2022 but failed to fix the issue. I have been on forums where many others are still having issues just like mine. It's very dangerous and needs to be addressed.
