The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco. The contact stated the rear translucent heavy plastic panel was loosened due to the breakdown of the plastic tabs used to secure the rear panel in place. The contact stated that the vehicle was equipped with a soft top, and when the weather was warm, the side panels and rear panel would be removed to open the rear of the vehicle like a convertible. The contact was concerned that the clear panel could fall from the rear of the vehicle and strike the vehicle behind. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the soft top needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that prior to the failure, the soft top had been replaced because the side clear panels had experienced a similar failure with the plastic tabs. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 38,000.

When starting my commute to work and when returning home, the instrument panel and gauges display would not turn on. After power/engine restart and open/close driver door, I drove off and about 10 minutes into drive the instrument panel and gauges display started working. On the way to work I pulled over and took a photo. On the way home I sat in parking lot at work and videoed trying to get display to work. Vehicle security system was installed the day *after* the display failure, 04/18/2025.

Side pillar is blocking view to see if a car is coming, side mirrors do not help. In order to accurately see, you have to completely turn your head to see if you can get over taking your eyes off of the road. This could result in a crash.

- #11653791April 9, 2025SERVICE BRAKES, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, STEERING
Car began flashing multiple warnings including power steering, brakes, basically all warnings. Power steering and brakes both failed. Took to dealership. Found wires and wire harnesses burnt and melted. Delaliship says it was due to a pinched wire on an after market winch however the winch was installed in 2022 and never had any issue before. They cited damage underneath on the skid plate which is very minor in nature and should not be able to cause such egregious errors.

Driving in wet sticky snow the unheated LED headlamps collect snow quickly and provide almost zero projection of light forward. When driving in areas without overhead lighting at night this becomes a serious safety concern and may lead to a serious accident when drivers cannot see any possible obstructions in the roadway or accurately see the edge of the road surface. Have been unable to demonstrate this flaw to any dealers due to snow being unpredictable and dealerships being closed at night. I do have dash cam video showing the issue that can be provided for review, video uploaded to youtube here [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The vehicle is a 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands 2 door. It is under NHTSA recall 25V025, with no fix expected until later this year. The ride quality is bouncy, with some wobbling when going over bumps. Ford claims the vehicle is still okay to drive; however i am not comfortable with having to deal with the ride quality for the next several months

On 03/31/25 at approx. 12:45 AM our 2022 Ford Wild Trak was engulfed in fire while parked on our driveway. There were no occupants, and it had last been operated on 3/30/25 at approximately 1030 PM. During its last operation there was nothing abnormal to indicate the potential of a engine fire (no warning lights, messages, unusual smell or odors, performance issues, smoke, or fire). Upon observing the Ford Bronco Wild Trak for the first time the engine compartment was fully engulfed, and it was clear the fire had started in the engine compartment. The flames from the Ford Bronco Wild Trak eventually spread to a second vehicle destroying it down to the frame and causing enough damage to a third vehicle rendering it a total loss. All three vehicles were within 4 feet of our residence and the flames were hot enough it melted the garage door window frames. The Ford Bronco Wild Trak is frequently parked in our garage, and it been we would have lost our home and the lives of all four family member would have been put at risk. Researching Ford Bronco Wild Trak engine fires, we discovered that Ford Bronco Sports and Ford Escapes both have recalls due to faulty fuel injectors resulting in engine fires. The fuel injectors in Ford Bronco Wild Trak’s are similar to the fuel injectors in both the Ford Bronco Sports and Escapes. Due to the similarity between the Ford Bronco Sports and Escapes with the Wild Trak fuel Injectors we are asking for the NTSBA to initiate an investigation into Ford Bronco Wild Trak engine fires. The Ford Bronco Wild Trak can be retained for inspection if requested quickly as it is scheduled to be picked up by our insurance company and then disposed.

Dealer sold us a brand new vehicle with an active recall. Recall# 25S01/25V025 which was released January 21st, 2025. We bought the vehicle [XXX]. There was ample time for the dealer to pull these vehicles from the lot and prevent them from being sold. I spoke with a Ford customer service representative (case# [XXX]) and was told this dealer sold several vehicles with this recall.
