SummarySome 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles equipped with 4x4 with part time engagement and built on or before 12-Jan-2024 may exhibit a condition of the vehicle being stuck in neutral tow mode. This may be due to a concern with the all-wheel drive (AWD) module software. Make sure the proper procedure is being followed to exit neutral tow mode by referring to the Owner's Manual > Towing Your Vehicle > Recreationally Towing Your Vehicle. Make sure the vehicle's battery is fully charged and then diagnose all diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) in the AWD module. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-07A. If diagnostics do not resolve the concern or there are no DTCs present in the AWD module, reprogram the AWD module using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) diagnostic scan tool. Refer to the appropriate section of the WSM. SummarySome 2021-2024 Bronco vehicles equipped with SYNC 4 may experience a concern during SYNC module (APIM) programming where the vehicle's center display screen indicates: USB Error. This may be due to a lack of memory space available to perform the APIM software update. If it is a memory concern, the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) will provide an option to delete the voice application. Re-enter the module programming and when prompted, do not select first option - SYNC Module (APIM) Software Update, select the second option - Delete Voice Application(s) From Module. Once deleted, run the SYNC Module (APIM) Software Update as directed, this will update the software and automatically reload the voice app. If the voice delete option is not available, continue with normal diagnostics in the Workshop Manual, Section 418.

NOTE: The APIM software update that addresses the symptom listed in this article may have been sent via Ford Power-Up software updates delivered over-the-air (OTA) to connected vehicles that have automatic updates enabled through the center display screen. Enter the vehicle identification number (VIN) in Professional Technician System (PTS) and check the OTA Dashboard under the Connected Vehicle tab for OTA update history. If an update to the APIM has successfully completed recently and the customer is reporting the symptoms are no longer present, this article may not apply.

SummarySome 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles may exhibit a charging system lamp that illuminates briefly and/or intermittently, and/or diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B11DB:08 in the body control module (BCM). This may be due to a loose fuse terminal for the 3 amp fuse in the battery positive fuse assembly. If this condition is present, compare fuse removal effort between the 3A fuse in the battery positive fuse assembly and like fuses in the under hood fuse box. If removal effort for the 3A fuse is low, replace the battery positive fuse assembly to correct this condition. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM) Section 404-01 > Removal and Installation > Low Voltage High Current Fuse. For claiming, use causal part 14526 and M-time.
