Rear driver side window panel cracked due to cold weather no incident or accident occurred. It just cracked and needs to be replaced. This to me is unusual for tempered glass.

I continually receive a “Low coolant “ warning on my dash. While the truck was under warranty, the dealership replaced the coolant reservoir which contains the coolant level sensor. Now that my vehicle is no longer under warranty they refuse to fix the problem unless I pay for it. The dealership has refused to acknowledge that there is a problem even after replacing it three times.

Transmission shudders and has a delay in shifting/starting movement of the vehicle. This problem was noticed at 98k miles about a thousand miles after I purchased the truck from a dealership. It has been inspected, and repairs scheduled, but the transmission is still on back order after 5 months of waiting. No part ETA is available from Chevrolet corporate. This issue is a safety concern due to the fact that the vehicle could hesitate to accelerate in the event of needing to take evasive maneuvers to avoid an accident/road hazard.

On 12/24/24 my truck went into limp mode with the notification of “reduced acceleration” nearly causing an accident. Luckily I was able to get off the road to safety. The truck wouldn’t go in reverse or fully accelerate. I had the truck towed to the dealership. The dealership informed me it was the Valve Body in my transmission. They mentioned they have 4 other trucks with the exact same issue. It’s been 1 month since and nothing has been repaired and GM has not responded to my inquiries on a replacement, update on the part, or a buy back. The vehicle was brand new on a lease only 7500 miles on it and was purchased in July. The truck didn’t even last 6months. Had I not quickly gotten the truck off the road I could have been T-Boned and could’ve died at the intersection by a semi coming through. The fact this vehicle was sold, while this was an issue is criminal negligence.

My truck has had transmission issues since we purchased it. At 79,000 miles the factory transmission finally went out and needed replaced. The truck currently has 81,000 miles on it and is already having transmission problems with the rebuilt parts. Background: the truck began having hard downshifts since purchase. Over the course of our ownership, we noticed it started struggling with shifting from 2nd gear to 3rd and 3rd gear to 4th. Constant "clunking" and shuttering when trying to shift. Approximately November of 2024 the truck suffered from the known GM transmission failures. It was almost "skipping" upon acceleration and had a very hard time with cycling between gears. The transmission began making a sound comparable to a normal operating diesel truck (almost sounded like the turbo engines upon acceleration). The truck was sent to the dealership and the transmission was replaced. However, since this replacement we are now experiencing similar symptoms to the previous transmission. There is a very hard downshift, there is clunking sound when the truck is trying to go from 3rd to 4th, and the truck has a noticeable gear burning smell when driven long distances.

My 2024 ZR2 has roughly 22,000 miles on it. Was driving and lost power. Dealership actually sent someone to come look at my stalled truck. Would not turn over. Dealership got it towed. After diagnosis, they said the engine had seized. This is absolutely uncalled for on a brand new vehicle that I paid over $70,000 for. This exact same thing happened on my Co Workers 2020 high country 6.2. It is currently being worked on, and now seeing that over 877,000 of these 6.2 engines have done this exact same thing since 2019??? How is this engine still being put in these GM vehicles? Now they are going to put new or rebuild the one I have that the exact same thing can happen to the new one? No new warranty will be given as I just get the remaining warranty? I'm sorry but this is the most expensive vehicle I have ever purchased and was proud of it. Now I have a ticking time bomb? I work out of state and if this happened while out of state, what do I do?? I would like action taken! I am getting an attorney involved as this should be taken care of after 877,000 vehicles. What other action can be taken? Vehicle purchased December 2020 Flashing check engine light that stays on- light did not stay on long enough for dealer to see, said they couldn't find any issues. The first time we had it towed and when they looked at it the light was no longer on. They were able to tell us what was going on with the vehicle when the light came on but said there were no problems. Flashing check engine light that turns off- "no light = no problem" dealer says. Eventually they printed pages showing engine misfires which we were initially told was no big deal. Later I was told I should get spark plugs changed, which I did. So far, flashing light has not reoccurred. Burns 3 or more quarts of oil between oil changes which I was assured by more than one rep that that was normal (on numerous occasions). Air conditioning quit working. Heater not working well and not at all on idle. The only setting I can really use to defrost and keep my feet warm is the "floor only" option. Mixed doesn't work, defrost only will freeze feet. Gas smell while vehicle at idle. Initially noticed when using auto start but have since noticed it does it with regular start as well. All issues have been brought to dealership, I will have to contact them for all the exact dates.

Driving down the road and the vehicle shut off and said to restart. Wouldn't start back up. Check and found a 400 amp fuse was blown. Tested starter and was fine. Restarted the vehicle and it made a loud rattling noise and shut back off. Sent it to the dealer and they found that number 1 and 2 rods overheated and locked up the motor.

We were driving on the highway when we attempted to make a turn the Steering wheel would not turn. We almost had an accident. I, [XXX], the Driver, had to swing out, and force the steering wheel to turn to get out of traffic. The service steering system with care light and the ESC Light came on. My truck is not that old and should not experiencing this type of problem. This was a very frightening experience that I don't want to go through this anymore. I call the dealership that I purchased the truck from and learned that other models had a recall on the same issue, but my 2020 had no recall on it. So therefore, they did not have to work it in to fix it. So, I'm reporting the issue so that no one else have to experience what I did. My 2021 Silverado with only 80,655 miles had to have the engine replaced. On 11/20/24, my vehicle indicated a P0303 code for miss-fire in cylinder 3. I took my vehicle to for repair to a local Chevy Dealership and was informed of the following: 1) Needed programming changes to the fuel injection based on service bulletin N242450631. This repair was completed by the dealer. 2) Needed a “tear down” for further diagnostic. It was determined that the specific code could not be repaired and the entire engine needed to be replaced which was done at my cost. The details on service bulletin N242450631 are limited and do not describe issues that could be caused by the fuel injector problem. Relative to service bulletin N242450631 fuel injector issue, based on my experience with my vehicle, I believe this fuel injector programming bulletin issue caused the engine malfunction and subsequent need to replacement. Before the bulletin repair was completed, I know that my vehicle engine surged often. Looking back now, this constant surging had to be hard on the engine and likely caused the failure. Regardless, if it wasn’t the service bulletin that caused the issue, a vehicle engine should last more than 80,000 miles. I believe GM needs to take responsibility for the engine failure which I believe was caused by faulty workmanship, design, computer engine programming, or some combination of these issues.

My complaint is regarding faulty oil lines that are known to be defective by GM/Chevy. The oil lines begin to leak in colder weather and according to discussion boards, have even been known to come off completely while at speed and purging all of the oil from the vehicle. This can result in the almost immediate seizure of the engine and loss of control of the vehicle. GM/Chevy acknowledges there is a problem with these oil lines by their creation of a Customer Satisfaction Hotline around 2021 instead of doing a full recall. My 2019 chevy silverado 1500 is experiencing the exact same issues with the oil lines as stated by hundreds of other customers. I have contacted both GM and my local dealership and have been turned away advising my 2019 Silverado was not part of the right "build number" associated with the special coverage that they voluntarily created to avoid the full recall of all 2019 and possibly more model years with defective and dangerous oil lines. As reported previously, the oil lines are likely to begin to fail in colder weather which could make for more dangerous conditions should they fail completely and come off of the engine. Although GM states my vehicle is not part of the conditional coverage, my lines began to fail a few weeks ago as my temps dropped well below freezing.

While driving down the highway, a message popped up stating “not suitable to shift” and I lost all acceleration and could only coast. Luckily was able to coast over to the shoulder, where attempts were made to shut down and restart vehicle. Second message came up stating reducing features to save battery. Was unable to restart and a tow was requested. Dealership reported it was unknown why or what caused it but engine was locked up. Engine only had 19k on it with just me as the owner.when purchased brand new 17 months prior.
