I have reached out to BMW Dealers twice and BMW America Co since October 2024, after receiving the recall notice of Engine Coolant Pump crankcase (No. 24V-608). However, they have been unable to confirm when the remedy will be available. I would like to file a complaint regarding BMW's delay in providing the remedy, which has now exceeded six months. This delay is taking too long, and BMW should prioritize customer safety by having the remedy available as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention to this matter to help.

SERVICE BRAKES
On several occasions, the brake pedal has gone soft. Giving you the feeling that you have no breaks. on the highway when this happens, the brake pedal goes soft and then about halfway into the pedal the brakes lock up and the car veerers sharply in one direction or another. On residential street my wife was using this car this morning to take our son to daycare when she applied the brakes and ended up going through a stop sign as the brakes did not grab until she came to an extreme halt in the middle of the intersection, she then said the brakes were functioning but soft for the next 4 to 5 stops after that they went to completely normal. We had the car in a dealer last week before this incident happen where they verified that the brakes were in good working order Please note that the dealer put new brakes on three weeks ago. I’ve done some reading online and found that there’s recalls in other countries for the same problem but for some reason, my vehicle doesn’t have a recall for this. It is extremely scary when it happens.

An 'Emergency call system malfunction' message starting appearing. Upon inspection by the dealer they mentioned "Faults stored for emergency battery hardware faulty, GPS antenna open circuit, TCB microphone short circuit. Checked rook aerial cover and found not to be sealing correctly and causing water damage to components. Recommend to replace roof aerial, roof aerial cover, TCB and emergency battery. TCB will also need to be programmed and old adhesive will need to be removed from roof of car."

AIR BAGS, SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
A week ago, the steering wheel locked and the braking system and airbags and cameras malfunctioned. We took it for service at BMW. They said the battery caused the malfunction. On thanksgiving day, we were going around 25-30miles per hour when we slammed on the breaks and the breaks didnot function and we could not stop the car. The automatic emergency breaks never activated. We lost power of braking and brakes locked and we impacted a car in front of us with damages to our car and the other vehicle.

My daughter [XXX] had an oil change on 2-23-2024, and was told that fluid was leaking. In less than 2 weeks, the leakage had worsen. All the electrical components were flashing and the vehicle was cutting on and off. Eventually it stopped running. Her fiance, [XXX] , had the vehicle towed to an auto repair shop that specializes in European cars on 3-25-2024. She was quoted for a new engine, cost $12,500, which was about the same as what was owed. Since we couldn't afford the cost of a new engine, we did a voluntary surrender to the finance company, Foursight Capital. They sent us a notification for an Explanation of Calculation of Surplus or Deficiency. Had we been informed about the recall from the NHTSA failure to adequately remedied for a defective vehicle within a reasonable time, just maybe this problem would have not occurred. Dear National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, I am writing to report a significant safety concern involving my 2022 BMW X4 M40i. The issue pertains to an anti-corroding substance inside the tailgate panel that has been leaking, causing damage to my vehicle's bumper and obstructing the view on my rear camera. This issue not only compromises the structural integrity of the vehicle but also poses a serious safety risk by obstructing the view from the rear camera, which is essential for safe reversing and parking. Despite taking my vehicle to Gainesville BMW for inspection, the problem remains unresolved. The Service Manager, Jose, initially acknowledged the issue but has since avoided taking appropriate action to rectify the situation. In addition, I have been in contact with Jerry from BMW Customer Relations, who has been unwilling to communicate via email as per my request. Instead, he insists on discussing the matter over the phone, which I find concerning given the importance of maintaining a documented communication trail for this serious issue. The ongoing leakage and damage to my vehicle not only compromise its functionality but also raise concerns about potential long-term safety risks. As such, I am seeking your assistance in addressing this matter to ensure that BMW takes the necessary steps to resolve this defect and prevent further safety hazards. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your guidance on the next steps. Thank you for your time and assistance.

as I was driving, the gas fuel line started spewing gas all over. The crack was higher up, behind the backseat, had to replace the fuel line. And behind the backseat was soaked with fuel oil. there was a material substance wrapped around like a cloth around the cracked area. As if the crack came from the factory and they covered it up.

Vehicle cutting off in the middle of the road has happened three times from running A/C, sitting still, or driving.cant put vehicle in neutral as it locks up.15 min later it turns back on.Get a fuel supply and drive moderately MSG. I went to Nalley BMW dealership to explain my issues in concern that my BMW has safety defect that Poses an unreasonable risk to motor vehicle safety in that it exist for the same design or manufactured vehicle like mine that other common groups or experiencing. I expressed that it's hazard that can cause crashes or deaths in that the common groups has their fuel pumps replaced in that still didn't help the common issues while also getting a recall on my vehicle in was advised from my advisor to call BMW head quarters in the NHTSA bout my issue in concerns so y'all can have a open case in perhaps make a recall on this design vehicle in that I need to drive it for two weeks after the recall was done but as soon I drove my vehicle on 05/21/2024 it shut off on me again in the middle of the road.I notified my advisor in my service advisor recommended me to schedule a diagnostic the next day .May 22,2024 at 10:00 am. I did at my expense of $202.00 In my repair estimate total $8335.14 which is on hold my diagnostic scan needs Fuel pump replacement,faults pump module (ekps) Fuel system repair, programming in etc.This is not okay in I could've lost my life due to this negligence situation.

SPOKE WITH DEALERSHIP MULTIPLE TIMES AND VEHICLE WAS SEEN APPROX. 6 TIMES BY SERVICE DEPT ABOUT THE BRAKES. CORPORATE COMPLAINT FILED ABOUT LOUD NOISE OF BRAKES, CORPORATE SENT OUT AN ENGINEER OUT TO TEST DRIVE THE X4 TO UNDERSTAND AND DESCRIBE THE BRAKE NOISE. I WAS TOLD THE NOISE WAS FROM DUST OF THE VEHICLE BEING NEW AND ITS NORMAL. THE TRUCK STILL HAS LOUD SCREAMING NOISE HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED BY BMW DEALERSHIP WITH CORPORATE CLOSING OUT THE CLAIM.

My bmw x4M competition 2020 has pop off a sign that said chassis possible continue driving . It put me in sport suspension and it off traction mode . It is very dangerous for me to drive because in a snow or rainy day it very slippery and sometime I almost cash because slip indicators turn on . I cannot turn it off to drive safe and vehicle drive very different .
