Summary2020 FRONTIER; TCM COMMUNICATION ERROR CAUSING A NO START CONDITION IF YOU CONFIRM The customer states the engine will not crank and will not start. (The incident may be intermittent.) And There is a U0101 DTC (Lost Comm TCM) in the Engine Control Unit (ECU) and/or Shifter Control Unit (SCU). This DTC may be in a PAST or CURRENT status. Or The TCM shows âUNKWNâ in the PRESENT column or â0â in the PAST column under the CAN DIAG SUPPORT MNTR tab within the ECU (ENGINE) or the SCU (SHIFT) in CONSULT-III plus (C-III plus). See Figure 1 and Figure 2.

Summary2005-2019 FRONTIER; HIGH-MOUNTED STOP LAMP SERVICE PART SERVICE INFORMATION The mounting stud diameter for the high-mounted stop lamp service part has changed from 5 mm to a 6 mm. If for any reason the high-mounted stop lamp needs to be replaced, the mounting hole will need to be enlarged to 6.5 mm (¼ inch) as follows: 1. Remove the high-mounted stop lamp. ï· - For high-mounted stop lamp removal, refer to the Electronic Service Manual: Section DRIVER CONTROLS > EXTERIOR LIGHTING SYSTEM > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > STOP LAMP. 2. Enlarge the high-mounted stop lampâs mounting holes (see Figure 1 on page 2) using a 6.5 mm (¼ inch) drill bit. NOTICE: To avoid damage to the vehicle, apply light pressure to the drill while drilling. Excessive force may cause the drill bit to penetrate too far and damage the headliner. 3. Apply touch-up paint to the mounting holes to protect the bare metal. 4. Install the new high-mounted stop lamp using M6 mounting nuts. Refer to the PARTS INFORMATION on page 2.

SummaryExpiration Notification - Window Regulator Dealer Announcement ***** Campaign Summary***** In 2003, Nissan launched a Voluntary Service Campaign on certain 2001 Model Year Altima and 2001-2002 Model Year Nissan Frontier and Xterra vehicles in specific states (Nevada, Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Arizona, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, New Mexico, Georgia, North Carolina, Kansas, Utah, Tennessee, Missouri, Kentucky, Hawaii and the southern half of California) to replace the window regulators. Affected owners may experience unexpected or difficult operation of the windows due to extended high temperature conditions. Parts specified for this campaign are no longer available through Nissan. This customer service campaign and customer reimbursement for these repairs are no longer available. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Service Com will deactivate PU306 on any unrepaired VINs on January 31, 2020. No further dealer action is required.
