SummaryCVT Class Action Owner Notification In mid-December, current and former owners and lessees of the following vehicles will receive a postcard from a Settlement Administrator informing them of the terms of a proposed class action that, subject to final court approval, could extend the warranty on the CVT for the following vehicles: 2017-2018 Altima (L33) 2018-2019 Sentra (B17) 2018-2019 Versa Sedan (N17) 2018-2019 Versa Note (E12) The proposed settlement (including the proposed warranty extension) is still subject to final approval by the court presiding over the proposed settlement. The court will determine if the settlement will be approved at or shortly after a hearing that is scheduled for March 20, 2023. To be clear, unless and until the proposed settlement is approved by the presiding court, there is no warranty extension and you should proceed with CVT-related claims as outlined below in #3 under what dealers should do. The proposed settlement, and the associated potential warranty extension, include many terms and conditions. Rather than attempting to address questions about the proposed settlement terms from customers, it is strongly recommended that you refer customers to the website and/or telephone number listed below so that they can receive information from appropriate sources and in order to avoid providing incorrect and/or incomplete information. The telephone number and website should be active by December 15, 2022. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** No action is necessary at this time. Nissan will provide additional instructions in late May if and when the proposed settlement is approved and becomes effective. 1. If an owner contacts a dealer with a CVT concern in an owned or leased vehicle, verify warranty coverage for the specific VIN and then inform the customer of any diagnostic charges.

SummaryLeft Front Coil Spring Voluntary Service Campaign *****Dealer Announcement***** Nissan has reclassified the previously announced quality action (PC891) for new vehicle inventory as a Voluntary Service Campaign to replace the left front coil spring on 10 specific 2022 Nissan Altima vehicles identified in Service Comm and DBS National Service History. Due to a production issue that has since been corrected, the left front coil spring on affected vehicles may not meet Nissan design requirements. Customers of affected vehicles may notice a potential noise from the suspension or a change in vehicle posture. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. PC933. ⢠New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§ Refer to NPSB15-460 for additional information ⢠Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. Dealers are requested to remedy any affected vehicles in dealer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Dealers should use NTB22-102 to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle.

SummaryDRIVE SHAFT BOOT SERVICE INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION If a Drive Shaft (Axle Shaft) Boot on an APPLIED VEHICLE is found to be leaking grease, AND There is no abnormal noise or obvious CV Joint risk due to water intrusion and/or complete grease loss, check for REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) availability. ï· If there is a REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) available for the vehicle being repaired, do NOT replace the axle. Install a new boot kit following the procedure in the ESM. o Refer to the ESM: TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE > FRONT AXLE > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > FRONT DRIVE SHAFT BOOT o If the complete axle (drive shaft) is replaced when only a new boot is required, the over-repair may be charged back to the dealer. ï· If there is NOT a REPAIR KIT-DUST BOOT (CV Joint Boot Kit) available for the vehicle being repaired, refer to the ESM for further diagnostic information. IMPORTANT: When servicing vehicles with staked axle nuts, refer to NTB21-013 to prevent Drive Shaft thread damage.

Summary3G TELEMATICS HARDWARE DEACTIVATION SERVICE INFORMATION The APPLIED VEHICLES that come equipped with a factory installed SOS switch, located near the overhead map lamp, also come equipped with a wireless communication device called a Telematics Communication Unit (TCU). AT&T discontinued its U.S. 3G network coverage on February 22, 2022. As a result, automakers that utilize AT&Tâs 3G network connection, including Nissan Group, have had connectivity services affected. NissanConnect® Services are no longer available on the APPLIED VEHICLES listed above.

SummaryMaxima/Altima Floor Pan Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Dealer Announcement ***** Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign (VSC) on 36,858 specific model year 2002-2006 Nissan Altima and 2004-2008 Nissan Maxima vehicles due to possibility of moisture becoming trapped in the floor pans potentially resulting in corrosion to support the settlement approved by the court presiding over a class action lawsuit filed in Missouri. Dealers will inspect the Class Vehicle for front floor pan corrosion. If corrosion is present the dealer will repair the front floor pan(s). Nissan is not responsible for unrelated repairs that may be needed or detected during the inspection, including for vehicle corrosion to areas other than the front floor pan. The class action settlement administrator will notify potential class members of approval of the settlement terms no later than November 30, 2022. Inspection for the front floor pan for corrosion must occur by November 1, 2023. Nissan will provide a one-time diagnosis and a potential repair of approved vehicles from October 31, 2022 to November 1, 2023 under the Voluntary Service Campaign.
