SummarySome vehicles may exhibit that the air bag warning light turns on or repeats cycles of turning on and off with DTC B1126:13 and/or B1127:13 stored in memory. - B1126:13 - Driver-side side air bag module circuit open circuit or resistance high - B1127:13 - Passenger-side side air bag module circuit open circuit or resistance high This issue is caused by any of the following: - When the driver or passenger moves, a load is applied to the seat back and the load may cause displacement of the mating terminals in the side air bag module connector, resulting in insufficient contact and higher resistance. - The DTC detection level is too sensitive. - The form of the female terminals in the side air bag module connector may cause insufficient contact and higher resistance. To eliminate these concerns, the DTC detection level of the SAS control module has been optimized.

SummarySome vehicles may exhibit the glass run channel of the front door interfering with the rear door garnish. This is caused by the front door glass run channel not being fixed strongly enough to the door for the following situations where the cycles of door operation may result in interference and lead to damage on the rear door garnish. - When the front door glass is closed, the glass run channel may be forced to move to the B pillar side. - During very hot weather, the glass run channel may expand to the B pillar side. To eliminate this concern, the design of the front door glass run channel has been changed to be fixed stronger to the door.

SummarySome CX-5 and CX-30 customers may find that the liftgate does not close when pressing the power liftgate (PLG) rear switch located on the interior liftgate trim. This may be caused by PLG switch corrosion. Water from a high pressure car washer and/or condensation may drip onto the switch connector and cause corrosion. To eliminate this concern, the PLG rear switch has been modified with a waterproof connector. Some Mazda3, CX-30 and MX-30 customers may complain that the vehicle door locking system does not work when the door lock switch on the liftgate interior trim is pressed. DTC B11C4:23 (BCM - liftgate lock switch circuit malfunction) may be stored. This may be caused during a high pressure car wash and/or condensation. Water may enter through the rear center brand emblem base component and drip onto the switch connector causing corrosion. The rusted connector may also cause a battery drain. To eliminate this concern, the rear center brand emblem base has been modified to prevent water entry (Mazda3) and the rear harness has been modified to prevent water infiltration (Mazda3, CX-30 and MX-30).âÂÂ

SummarySome vehicles may exhibit a rear console lid with a sticking feeling or a squeaking noise when opening and/or closing. This is caused by an inappropriate shape of the console lid hinge pin where the position of the hinge pin (1) becomes misaligned when the rear console lid is repeatedly opened and closed. When parts around the hinge pin thermally expand, the result creates a gap in the hinge of the rear console lid. To eliminate this concern, the shape of the hinge pin has been modified to prevent the pin from coming off.

SummarySome vehicles may have rust on the contact parts between the clips (for attaching the roof molding) and the roof panel (ditches of the roof rail). This is caused by the gap between the roof molding attachment clips and the roof panel not being wide enough to allow paint to be appropriately applied to the roof panel. To eliminate this concern, the shape of the roof molding clip has been changed to enable paint application between the clip's rib and roof during the manufacturing process.
