The AC stopped working and now they are charging me to replace the condenser which is located right in the front behind the grill. They said it was damaged from a rock that hit it. There are thousands of these vehicles that have this poor design where all these condensers are getting hit and having consumers pay for this damage because it is not under warranty. These should be recalled or repaired for free as it is obvious there should be some kind of screen to prevent this as the grill gives no protection.

Driving on the highway, heard a very loud pop, followed by a crackling noise above us. Investigated and found the sunroof had spontaneously shattered. On the drive home, the sunroof glass collapsed into the car. The initial incident was very disruptive, and we were lucky that the sun shade was closed, which blocked glass fragments from falling on us. There are no signs of impact from any objects or rocks. There were no cars driving in front of us, and we did not drive beneath an overpass. There were no dents on the car. Photos of the glass after shattering but before collapse dont show a clear sign of an impact point. My best guess is a manufacturing flaw exacerbated by temperature changes. It was a very sunny day, and we had the shade open with cold AC blowing for 30+ minutes. The sun became a distraction, so we closed the shade. I think the heat then built up quickly between the shade and the glass, and caused the glass to shatter.

Air Conditioner Condenser failed after only 12,000 miles on a brand new 2025 Lexus TX 350 Vehicle. Leak caused AC to only blow hot air. After having the vehicle serviced, the Service Advisor indicated that the condenser had a leak which was cause by road debris and would not be covered under the warranty or purchased additional extended warranty. The vehicle is exclusively driven on highway and paved roads. Researching the symptoms, many other now frustrated Lexus Owners are complaining about the same issues and lack of Lexus Support. The placement of the condenser behind the wide- open grill, make the condenser prone to failure. Repair cost estimated at over $2,000 for a $70,000 car, less than 6 months old.

The vehicle looses power and hesitates to accelerate from a stop start. This happens when The HV Battery State of Charge (SOC) is below 30%. •The vehicle is in catalyst warm-up mode (cold start). The Motor Generator (MG) is in charge mode. As a result of this scenario I have almost been T boned 3 times while attempting a left turn from my home across a dual carriage lane. And again nearly rear ended because of the lack of power or hesitation. To me this is a big safety concern that Lexus do not have a credible fix for.

Vehicle Information Make: Lexus Model: TX350 Luxury Year: 2025 Mileage: 580 miles VIN: [XXX] Summary of Complaint At just 580 miles, my brand-new Lexus TX350 Luxury's AC failed on first use. I heard hissing and saw oil residue under the hood. The Clearwater, FL dealership diagnosed it as a punctured AC condenser due to “road debris” and quoted $2,000 to repair. The car had no visible damage, and I asked to keep the part for independent analysis but was denied—despite offering to pay in full. Photos show the vehicle in flawless condition. Lexus initially refused warranty coverage and claimed a front tire may have kicked up a rock, despite all tires being behind the grille. Eventually, after repeated contact with Lexus corporate and both dealerships (in Jacksonville and Clearwater), they agreed to cover the repair—but still refused to return the damaged part. Several service advisors admitted this issue is common. The condenser appears unprotected behind the grille, making it vulnerable to debris. Given the low mileage and lack of damage, this points to a design flaw. Lexus’s inconsistent handling and denial of access to the part raise concerns. Request for Investigation Please investigate this as a potential systemic design defect. The vulnerability of the AC condenser can lead to repeat failures and high repair costs, especially in hot climates where AC is essential. Lexus has asked one owner if he would agree to being a guinea pig and allow them to add a screen behind the grill. I was driving on a highway around 65mph, about 1:30PM on May 11, 2025. The temperature outside was about 70 degree F. I heard a very loud noise like a big firecracker exploding. Then I heard the sound of air coming from the sun roof. I opened the sun roof door and found the sun roof was shattered and had a big hole more than a foot in diameter. If I didn't close the sun roof door, I could had been injured by the exploding tempered glasses from the sun roof and lose control of my SUV. I drove to the Lexus dealership and leave my car there overnight since the service department was closed on Sunday. The Lexus service advisor will call me in the morning. I googled the topic about "Lexus sun roof exploding while driving" and found many Lexus car owners had the same problem as mine. Toyota Motors already knew about this issue since 2012 and they refused to fix the issue free of charge for Lexus car owners since they said that the car warranty doesn't covered the sun roof. I believe Toyota Motors is a irresponsible car company. If this issue is not fixed, I believe some Lexus owners might get hurt when their cars' sun roof explode while driving. Toyota Motors should fix the problem free of charge for their customers because this is a defective tempered glass sun roof.

Starting from a stop in a residential neighborhood, stepped on the gas to go and turn left and the vehicle hesitated and lacked power. It almost felt like it was trying to start from a stop in too high of a gear, but this is a 6 speed automatic vehicle. After panicking a little, backing off the accelerator pedal and stepping on it again, power came back so I could complete the turn. If there were other cars coming straight through the intersection, I would have been hit. Informed my local dealer about it and that the Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid has a service bulletin (T-SB-0017-24) to address this very issue I encountered and that the Lexus TX500h has a similar drivetrain set up, but was told Lexus has no such service bulletin to address this issue. There were no warning lamps or indications from the vehicle that anything was wrong and it has only happened once so far, a few days ago, since I purchased the vehicle new at the beginning of December 2024.

When turning the truck left, there is a clicking sound that sounds like it’s coming from the axel. Contacted Lexus and it is a known issue. They advised it is not a safety concern but a mold problem. Getting axel replaced.

I have a Nuna Rava carseat that has malfunctioning harness straps. The straps can be pulled loose even after proper buckling and tightening. My child is at risk of injury, bodily harm, or death in the event of a car accident due to the harness straps failing to stay tight. The car seat has not been inspected.

I recently bought this vehicle and the drivers seat height does not raise approropriately. I have brought it to the dealership for them to take a look and they say that’s how it’s designed however the passenger seat height goes much higher. I called Lexus corporate who mentioned there is nothing they can do. I have driven the LX and RX models that do not have this issue. This vehicle is only 1 year old and I believe this is a safety concern. I am unable to see above the hood of the car and I am [XXX]. The contact owned a 2024 Lexus TX350. The contact stated while driving 15-20 MPH from a complete stop and making a left turn, another vehicle who was driving at an undisclosed speed, crashed into the front passenger's side end of the vehicle, causing the front end of the vehicle to separate. The contact shifted into park(P), and the vehicle stopped on the road. The other vehicle continued to accelerate and veered off into a ditch. The contact did not recall whether there were warning lights illuminated after the incident. The contact stated that several messages indicating the brake system, the Advance Autosonic detection, the Intelligence alert, the ABS, the parking brake, the electric power steering, the electronic stability control systems malfunctions, and other malfunctions were displayed on the vehicle mobile app. The contact stated that the front driver's side air bag and the knee air bag failed to deploy as intended and partially deployed. The contact sustained whiplash and hit her knees against the dashboard during the incident. The contact sustained neck, hips and legs pain. The ambulance transported the contact to the hospital, where a CT scan and X-Rays were performed, and the contact was informed that an internal neck injury was found. Additionally, the contact's legs had become swollen between the knees and the ankles. The contact stated that she was in the process of receiving further medical assistance. My Lexus TX 500h has an intermittent problem. It seems to have trouble shifting between 1st gear and second gear. Sometimes when I try to drive from a stop, the car will go a tiny bit and then feels like it switches into neutral instead of the next gear, leaving me stopped in the middle of traffic or an intersection. I have been stuck pulling out of my street onto a busy street with traffic bearing down on me. I have also started rolling backwards on a hill when my foot is on the gas and the car is in drive. It seems that the car puts itself into neutral vs second gear. I have taken it into the dealer twice for this and they “cant duplicate the problem” so tell me to go home and bring it back if it happens again. It keeps happening and it’s a huge safety issue. I’m not sure where I go from here.
