My Jeep has had a recall since December 2025. I initially went to Burgaw, NC Dealership where I Leased my Jeep, with no luck. I made appointment They did not have the part. I was told they would call when it is available. I checked in every month , no part. I called the recall line in the summer 2026 and they made me an appointment at National Dodge in Jacksonville, NCthe first week of August. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment I was told they could not accommodate my appointment because it takes 5 hours. Holdridge Greene made another appointment for me for the following week on [XXX]. He also said he would be able to put me in a car so I wouldn't miss another entire day of work. I showed up and was told they could not help me that day because there were no cars, but they would call and reschedule as soon as possible. It is now [XXX] and no contact has been made. I would love to have my Jeep fixed as it has been affected by these recalls and issues have occurred. Any help is greatly appreciated! The contact called for an acquaintance who owned a 2025 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked in the driveway, a neighbor saw black smoke coming from the vehicle. The neighbor called the authorities first and then called the contact, who was not at the residence during the failure. The vehicle caught on fire, and the neighbor alerted the occupants inside the residence about the fire. The Fire Department arrived on the scene and extinguished the fire. The fire burned several trees in the yard and damaged the concrete in the driveway. A fire report was filed. The remnant of the vehicle was towed to a salvage yard and deemed a total loss.

I purchased my Jeep Wrangler 4xe on Sept. 27, 2025 thinking all battery issues were addressed by the manufacturer. Then a month later the 68C hybrid battery recall is issued. My hybrid battery passed the 68C recall on Dec. 22 at the dealership. Ensuing 78C and 21D recalls meant I couldn't park in my garage and charge my vehicle for weeks at a time. My electric motor would not start on Aug. 11. Check engine light on, electric mode unavailable and AC not working. Then the vehicle forced itself into park while reversing to be towed to the dealer and died in the street. These vehicles are dangerous because there is no warning when they stop working. They just stop - sometimes in traffic or the middle of the street. With 68C, we were led to believe that only some batteries would have issues and that the installed software would monitor battery health. What we began to see was the batteries were structurally deficient and ALL batteries would fail at some point. The software was designed to shut the vehicle down if it detected a fault. Post 68C recall, many owners experienced a decrease in the performance of their Jeeps as the internal computer sought to balance battery load. This meant we weren't getting the MPG advertised and promised. We also received a warranty extension of unlimited miles and unlimited years. BUT, the fine print says the battery will be replaced ONLY if the value of the vehicle is more than the cost to replace the battery. My jeep has lost $14,000 in value in less than a year while I put less than 10,000 miles on it. The dealer has had my vehicle for a month and confirmed the hybrid battery is the problem. They have ordered a new one, but the new ones have the same defect. Owners are also seeing additional electrical faults after a hybrid battery replacement.

While driving my 2021 Jeep Wrangler on the highway, the vehicle displayed a warning indicating a malfunction with the Electronic Throttle Control system. Immediately following the warning, the vehicle experienced a significant loss of acceleration and would not respond normally to accelerator pedal input. The vehicle subsequently began accelerating/surging without my commanding the acceleration. The unintended acceleration was significant enough that I had to apply the brakes to prevent the vehicle from striking traffic ahead of me. This created an extremely dangerous situation because the vehicle's acceleration became unpredictable, alternating between loss of accelerator response and acceleration that I did not command. The vehicle is a 2021 Jeep Wrangler, VIN [XXX]. I am reporting this because I believe the Electronic Throttle Control/powertrain malfunction and resulting unintended acceleration present a serious vehicle safety concern. On approximately 95% of my driving trips, my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe suddenly and unpredictably loses acceleration or drive power. When I press the accelerator, the vehicle does not respond or accelerate normally. A warning then appears stating that electric mode is unavailable. After several seconds, the vehicle begins operating normally again. There is no apparent pattern, and this has occurred while traveling approximately 50 to 70 mph. The malfunction appears to involve the hybrid propulsion or power-control system. The vehicle is available for inspection. It is included in FCA Recall A7ululo:\/\/A nawe7Cl7C (NHTSA Campaign 25V-710), which concerns loss of drive power associated with an over-the-air software update. No remedy is currently available. This condition putssafety because I cannot rely on the Jeep to accelerate or maintain power when needed. At highway speeds, it could prevent me from responding to traffic, merging safely, or avoiding a hazard. I have stopped driving the Jeep on highways whenever possible and use back roads instead. The dealership has not yet reproduced or diagnosed this specific problem, although the symptoms are consistent with Recall A7C. The vehicle has received service for other recalls and is awaiting an engine replacement under a separate recall. It has not been inspected by police, insurance representatives, or an independent repair facility for this issue. There is generally no warning before the loss of acceleration. The “Electric Mode Unavailable” message appears after the malfunction begins, and normal performance returns several seconds later.

2019 Jeep Wrangler JLU experienced intermittent CAN-C communication failure. Vehicle has repeatedly experienced simultaneous loss of multiple electronic systems. On September 7th 2026, while driving, vehicle unexpectedly lost electric power steering, windshield wipers activated without command, ABS/TPMS/ESC warning lights illuminated, and vehicle subsequently would not shift into gear after stopping at a traffic light. Hazard lights would not activate. After shutting vehicle off, vehicle would not enter ACC or restart normally. Opening driver’s door unexpectedly caused vehicle to enter ACC. Manipulating the CAN-bus wiring/STAR connector behind the glove box has historically temporarily restored normal operation. Vehicle has previously required repair to this wiring/connector, and the failure has recurred. This has been occurring for at least 3 years and since 60,000 miles. This presents a significant safety hazard because steering assistance, shifting/propulsion, and signaling were simultaneously affected while driving. It is a known Chrysler issue (FCA STAR Case S2108000146) and should be recalled as there is a CLEAR and present danger with this ongoing issue.

In September of 2023 our 13’ Jeep Wrangler Rubicon had an ABS Module failure. We went to our local Jeep (Gettel Jeep of Punta Gorda, FL) where they placed us on a list @number 1600. They told us to was safe to drive however use caution in the snow. As of August the Jeep became unable to drive. We have sent the module off for repair unsuccessful and we have sent it back for the second time. I have been in a rental car for 5 weeks and I am a caregiver to my mother and I a a home healthcare sales representative that relies on my Jeep for work and caregiver. We believe Chrysler corporation has done a poor job managing this ABS issue that I a very known problem and puts me and my elderly mom at risk daily. I have also paid for repairs via Gettel without results. I should have not been expected to pay for repairs that didn’t correct the problem.

My Jeep is in limp mode and won’t go further than a mile before the power steering shuts down and the vehicle won’t move. I bought the vehicle used in March 2026 and took it to a local dealership to have the blind spot monitor system looked at and I was never made aware of any recalls. & now I will probably have to tow my vehicle out of pocket to the dealership to have it fixed.

Intermittent delayed/loss of acceleration when accelerator is depressed, along with abnormal switching between electric and gasoline propulsion. Symptoms began after recall 68C was performed. I was on all electric at the time going 40 mph when compressing the accelerated did not work and the car seemed to slow for a few seconds before it engaged. I have roughly 15,500 miles on the Jeep and got the 68C done last fall.

The contact owns a 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving 40 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power. The contact was able to turn onto a side street and pull over to the side of the road. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that there was a catastrophic failure of the fuel pump resulting in the fuel lines being contaminated with metal shavings. The contact stated that a fuel injector cleaning service was completed approximately one week prior to the failure. The dealer informed the contact that the entire fuel system needed to be replaced, and the engine needed to be flushed. The contact was provided an estimate for the repairs. The vehicle was in the process of being repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 67,000.

I left my home for work on XXX. I noticed a lack of propulsion upon stepping on the gas & air conditioning blowing warm air. At a stoplight ([XXX] and [XXX] in [XXX]), I attempted to restart the vehicle in hopes that a reset may fix any issues. What I found was that my vehicle would not restart and I could not remove it from park in a busy intersection. After 30 minutes of trying, I was able to get it to turn on and move to the Burger King parking lot. A tow truck arrived and took me to the [XXX] Valley Chysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealer. They told me it would take until Tuesday XXX to look at it. They could not offer me a loaner nor a rental vehicle. They called on XXX and said it was a battery defect and may take weeks to repair. To date, my vehicle with 27,000 miles have been in for four separate recalls, citing lack of propulsion, risk of battery fire. Zero accidents. I no longer feel safe driving the vehicle after recalls: "the 2.0 engine may be contaminated with sand from the casting process ... leading to catastrophic engine failure." "firmware software...may cause loss of drive power which can cause a vehicle crash." "The high voltage battery may become damaged during normal vehicle operation ... advising owners to park away from structures or other vehicles" "Electric Hydraulic Power Steering Pump may have electrical issue ... may lead to a fire." The manufacturer and dealer are offering minimal insight or restitution for my experience or safety. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

At highway speed, vehicle repeatedly started shaking and vibrating violently after hitting any bump or uneven portion of the roadway. Steering became extremely difficult to control and was completely useless for a period of time. A vehicle that loses the ability to steer at highway speeds puts everyone at risk of accident/death. In looking online, this has been experienced by many people and is referred to as the "death wobble". There were no warnings that this was going to occur. Vehicle has been brought to the dealership. It appears unlikely that the dealership and/or manufacturer is going to fix this problem without payment.

The One Touch Power Roof has rails from side to side. Several of these have broken at their attachment to the track system. This has created several issues: 1) the roof is no longer leak proof, 2) it creates excessive noise at high way speed. I have not used this system much, so it is unclear why this failed. When I presented the car to the Jeep dealer service area, I was told the only solution is to replace the entire roof - several thousand dollars. There is no other fix. This is out of warranty, but it clearly is a manufacturing issue common with this roof. I believe Jeep should replace this roof system at their cost , not mine. They have not shown me why this happened nor have they claimed it is my fault.
