All warning lights turn on intermittently and stay on for an undetermined time. I have taken it to service shops and the dealer multiple times over the last couple of years. Finally, I was able to get into the dealer while all warning lights were on so they could diagnose. I was told it was a fuel injector issue and not covered for repair. Upon researching, there are many reports of this issue and I don't understand why Honda is not being held accountable for this failure. While all warning lights are on, how would I know if there was an actual problem with the car? This could be a dangerous situation.

Without any warning, vehicle will brake with no traffic in sight, or whenever it decides the car needs braking. I'm afraid I am going to be rear ended at some point. This has happened several times since purchasing the vehicle.

I was driving on the highway and suddenly the gas engine turned off. I was only able to drive on battery power. Pushing the gas pedal only let me go 30 mph. The check engine light was flashing. I pulled over and shut off the car. When I restarted it worked fine. Check engine light was not on anymore. I took the car to the dealership and they could not find any stored codes or replicate the event. Looking online I see many cases of similar problems and Honda can never duplicate it. It is very frightening to be going full highway speed and suddenly loose power. [XXX] [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The contact owns a 2019 Honda CR-V. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated that while driving approximately 50 MPH, an alarm started beeping with an unknown warning light illuminated before the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was coasted to the side of the road and the dealer was contacted and informed of the failure. The vehicle was restarted and driven with the hazard lights flashing. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the cause of the failure was not determined. The dealer informed the contact that parts might be available August 2024. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 30,000. Parts distribution disconnect.

[XXX] Saturday at [XXX] while driving at about 50 MPH onto [XXX] toward [XXX] , My Honda CRV 2019 suddenly stalled, all alarms setup, beeping on the dashboard, while I was puzzling what was happening, the car behind us almost slammed into our car, narrowly missed by sudden turned to my left hand side. We hit the Emergency Light immediately, then pull over to the side, and immediately called my favorite Honda Mall of Georgia Dealership (HMGD), Buford, GA the lady was very nice after she heard the incident, gave us the name and mentioned to contact Service Manager directly first thing on Monday, also scheduled us to checkup on 7/24/2024 . Me and my wife called the office again on Monday 7/22/2024 11:15 AM, to reiterate the dangerous incident which occurred two days ago. However, Service Manager was away from the office, after a few minutes, the Assistant Manager responded immediately, recommended us to bring in to have a thorough Checkup. Also we stated that we have been calling the office regarding the FUEL INJECTION PUMP RECALL (since 12/28/2023 regarding Engine Fuel Injection Pump Replacement), for more than 5 times according to our record. The responses were no parts available until August 3X, then delayed till September 2X, recently said till this fall 2024. Having said that, if the incident happened again, while our whole family, my daughter and two grandchildren all on our favorite HONDA SUV, if a semi-truck was behind us on [XXX] that day, a crash accident would have been fatal the whole family and Daughter and two Grandkids。After HMGD completed checkup from 7/24 to 7/25, stated the Technician and HQTR still could not identify any RECALL related issue. Then stated my CRV is ready to pick up. (Repair-Order- [XXX]. Dated 07/25/2024) I was startled by the statement. Our HONDA (HMGD), is willing to put our Lives and Safety at RISK on the highway again, as long as you bring the car back for the next incident, (if YOU survive the CRASH). REALLY ! All vehicle alerts came on, vehicle randomly started braking hard while driving. We brought it to the dealership, told it needs all new fuel injectors and a VSA module. VSA module is on backorder, no timeline for a new one. Told vehicle is unsafe to drive without VSA module.

Electronic Power Steering Rack in bad/defective. Will not return to center naturally. Diagnosed by Honda Dealership. I can no longer drive in a straight line. I'm constantly bouncing from line to line on the road. My tires are even wearing incorrectly because of this. They are so loud now. Currently it's not a safety risk but the more I drive it the worse it gets. It will eventually become a safety risk! Yes, the problem has been reproduced by the dealer. I have been told part has been on order and is critical backordered with NO ETA. The also preformed an alignment check and a multi point inspection. No warning lights or messages. I found this problem just by driving my vehicle.

Several vehicles of the same year, make, and model were recalled for the fuel injectors but mine was not included. My car would not accelerate and became unsafe as I would try to move from stop lights, etc. I took my car into a repair shop and was told it was the fuel injectors. I would like to have my vehicle covered under this same recall as it is a hazard and I do not feel I should have to replace these on a newer car, especially when it is a known issue.

I was driving my 2021Honda CRV EXL Hybrid on the Interstate in the passing lane. I am the original owner and bought it new in 2021. never had any problem with the car up to that day. I was in passing lane accelerating about 60-65 mph as I rounded a slightly hilly curve in the road when suddenly car started to slow down rapidly. I looked at the dash and could see it was decelerating rapidly, going down and down and slower & I had my foot on gas pedal to the floor ,yet the car kept going slower. I put on hazards& managed to get in slower lane, there was considerable traffic volume at the time luckily had room to move in to slower lane and ultimately into emergency shoulder lane, the car was only going about 10 mph even though I still had gas pedal pressed down as far as it would go. Managed to exit the interstate, still it would go about 10mph ,so drove it to a safe commuter lot about 1/2 mile down the road. Noticed then that the engine light was blinking on and off. Called Honda dealer and told them was having car towed to their business. Next day, went to dealer and told service rep the experience , they scanned the system and found these codes stored: P0300-P0302-P0303 MISFIRES. they then cleared codes and test drove and no lights came back on at that time and stated that the technician performed a visual inspection and found no issues at this time and performed A/F ratio function test and all cylinders passed. Service rep recommended to me that they would take car for a longer drive ,they drove it 28 miles & no lights came back on and no codes set, they state it was "all OK at this time & stated INTERMITTANT CONCERN".I took the car back to my home with great concern ,I don't have trust in the car for myself , family or any other people on the road wherever I would go, I want your agency to investigate .As a [XXX] who trusted the brand and invested lot of retirement treasure in this purchase, I request help for a remedy, Honda had no answer & that doesnt cut it INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF I

This car has not been in an accident and has been routinely maintained in accordance with Honda's recommended maintenance schedule. I went to turn on the car one day - nothing abnormal had happened - and I noticed that multiple (5+) warning lamps illuminated upon starting the car, including for the AWD system, power steering system, stability assist system, parking brake system, adaptive cruise control system, and others. This was on or around 1 June 2024; the car had approximately 25,000 miles on it at this time. The car appeared to drive normally. I took this to a dealership, which stated that their diagnostic computer had identified the fuel injectors on cylinders 2 and 3 as malfunctioning and running rich. I incurred approximately $2400 in replacement and repair costs at the dealership. My safety was not put at risk to my knowledge. The problem was reproduced and confirmed by a dealer. The vehicle and components were inspected by the dealership when diagnosing the problem; there were no manufacturer, police, or insurance representative inspections. The warning lamps were illuminated as above on approximately 1 June 2024.

The contact's daughter owns a 2018 Honda CR-V. The contact stated while the driver was driving at highway speeds, the steering wheel became difficult to maneuver. The contact stated that the driver decelerated and continued driving at slower speeds. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed, and the dealer determined that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V663000 (Steering); however, the VIN was not included. Additionally, the dealer informed the contact that the part was not available to repair the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure had become a recurring failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and offered to partially cover the cost of the repair. The failure mileage was approximately 47,000.

On at least 5 different instances (possibly one or two more) as I was turning and slowing down either to park in a parking space or else backing slowly out of a parking place, my car seemed to jump (or jolt) and then accelerate out of my control. The brakes did not work. The most recent incident (after a year or so of no problems) was on [XXX] when the car accelerated as I was pulling into a parking space, crashed into a woody bush, and destroyed it and came to a stop—possibly because I got the brakes to work though I was fairly panicked so I don’t remember—so it did not take out the low fence behind it though I may have hit it. I was terrified that I would hit a woman coming out of the bank as I didn’t know how to get the car to stop. She saw what happened and asked if I was okay. I have taken the car to the Honda dealer in Fairfax, Virginia every time this happened in the past but was told either that my foot must have been on the accelerator or else the technician was unable to duplicate the incident and therefore they could do nothing. After the last incident I took the car to Honda of Chantilly, Virginia where a technician has been looking at it since yesterday so it is still there. If they do not find the cause of this random, erratic sudden acceleration I am going to sell the car (probably back to Honda) because I do not believe it is safe to drive.
