A new video about setting up the borescope and doing the snap ring inspection was added to the REPAIR PROCEDURE. BACKGROUND A small number of engines were produced with piston pin snap rings that may not be completely seated. If the snap ring is not completely seated, the piston pin can move from its original location in the piston, resulting in engine failure.

The vehicles are in compliance; the Monroney label information is not. Basic Problem 2016 model year Civic vehicles produced before January 12, 2016 have incorrect information related to the bumper compliance test. The label is printed with a speed of 5 mph and should be written with correct speed of 2.5 mph. In error, the 2015 Civic bumper impact speed rating was used for the 2016 Civic Monroney label.
