- #11703119December 4, 2025STEERING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING
Steering system is stiff and all the warning lights are on in the dashboard. Vehicle pulls hard to the left and you have to hold the wheel steady to keep it from pulling to the left. Appears there is a steering rack issue. I've seen on internet that many 2015 Accords have this issue. There needs to be a recall. Honda dealership quoting $3500 to $5000 to repair. This is not right!!

- #11703130December 4, 2025SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
While driving, my 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid suddenly experienced a multi-system failure affecting: Road Departure Mitigation System Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) Hill Start Assist Electric Power Steering System Brake System (“Brake performance may be reduced”) All warnings appeared within seconds. The vehicle is available for inspection, and the incident is documented with multiple photographs. In addition to the system failures, the vehicle unexpectedly began to lose power while I was driving, causing it to slow down rapidly in active traffic. This created an extremely hazardous situation, including: Risk of being rear-ended since my vehicle slowed without warning Reduced steering assist Reduced braking performance Loss of stability control Inability to accelerate out of the way This combination could easily have caused a serious collision. I later learned that there is an active recall related to the systems that failed on my vehicle. However: I never received any communication from Honda, no letter, no email, no notice of any kind. I am extremely unhappy and frustrated about this. Had Honda informed me of the recall: I would have scheduled service immediately I would NOT have driven the car under normal conditions I would NOT have been exposed to this dangerous situation on the road The absence of recall notification directly contributed to my being put in a potentially life-threatening situation. A recall notification exists for a reason which is to prevent exactly the type of failure and danger that I experienced. Honda’s failure to notify me removed my ability to take preventative action. The issue has not yet been diagnosed or confirmed by a Honda dealer. I will be taking the vehicle in for inspection as soon as possible. No inspections have been conducted yet, but I have full photographic documentation from the moment the incident occurred. No prior warning lights, symptoms, or error messages occurred.

The contact stated that the engine was revving, and the tachometer was showing an elevated RPM level before the vehicle slowly responded. The contact stated that there were several unknown warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel. Additionally, the check engine, traction control, and brake warning lights illuminated and remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed and determined that the turbocharger needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. - #11702477December 2, 2025FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
At just under 60,000 miles, the check engine light came on with 10 warnings all at once when the car was started. When I took it to Honda they said that 2 of the cylinders are misfiring and the fuel injectors need to be replaced. These are failing far too early on this model of vehicle and it is likely due to the recalled fuel injector that they took years to replace due to inventory. There should be a recall for the fuel injectors.

My Accord V6 suffered catastrophic engine failure due to a bent connecting rod/seized bearing while driving at highway speeds. This is the exact same failure described in Recall 23V-751 for other Honda V6 models.

- #11702246December 1, 2025VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
I was slowing down to pull into a parking spot at my office and suddenly the car accelerated, jumped the concrete barrier and crashed into the brick wall. The car continued to actively crash into the wall, so I put it in reverse and it accelerated backward with such force that it crashed into the rear of the car on the other side of the parking lot and then spun around 180 degrees and crashed into the side of that same car. My car was terrifyingly out of control. There was a woman in another car who had just parked and luckily she remained in her car because if she'd gotten out my car could have hit her. I don't know if this is related, but I regularly used the brake hold function and pressed the button to turn it off as I was parking. My perception is that the car suddenly accelerated when I depressed the brake hold button to turn it off. I have the parking lot security camera footage that clearly shows I was braking when the car suddenly accelerated and went out of control. I had 3 hard collisions and the airbag didn't deploy. Luckily I only had some neck and back pain and wasn't seriously injured. My car and the other car were totaled. I'm incredibly disappointed that Honda didn't call me back in time to be able to inspect the car. The insurance company pressured me to settle and turn over title. I'm very angry that the insurance company says I'm at fault because I need to stay in control of my vehicle at all times, but how could I have done that when the car suddenly went out of control? Now I'm going to have to pay higher insurance rates for something that I couldn't control.

- #11702319December 1, 2025WHEELS
The wheels on the Honda Accord stick out further than the tires thus get scuffed up easily. I had them repaired once shortly after purchasing the car but it was pointless. I believe everyone who has driven the car has damaged the wheels further by accidentally hitting a curb.

- #11702241December 1, 2025VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
While engaging Adaptive Cruise Control on highway speed, all the sudden I lost the sight of the car in front of me on the display, almost causing a collision, I also lost the correct Waze display. After I stopped the car, shut off engine, then restart the car, re-engaging Adaptive Cruise Control, both problems disappeared. This is an intermittent problem, it should be asap investigated then recalled due to huge safety concern !

- #11702062November 30, 2025ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, ENGINE, SEATS
Started the car and the system was not booting up Properly. Had to restart the car a few times for the system to boot up properly. Took 3 min to start up after restarting the car. No error codes just major lag and delay. Car was updated to the most current update and no new updates were available at the moment. Bluetooth also has a hard time connecting to mobile devices. Engine makes weird sound when accelerating on the highway in eco mode. Sometimes feels like misfires when accelerating. When entering the car from outside the seat sometimes does not adjust back to the original position stays at the extended position it does when getting out of the car. Requires me to adjust my seat consistently.

While driving the car at approx 45mph on a busy roadway the vehicle suddenly accelerated heavily I tried applying the breaks but the pedal did not go down and had no affect of slowing the vehicle. I was forced to swerve around several vehicles to avoid a collision then just as suddenly the car returned to normal operation. The duration on the incident was approx 5 to 10 seconds. Very dangerous and very scary.

The contact owns a 2018 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while depressing the accelerator pedal from a complete stop, the vehicle lunged forward. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the fuel injectors and spark plugs had failed and needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the failure recurred approximately 5 years later while accelerating from a complete stop at a stoplight, and the vehicle failed to accelerate at the intended speed. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the transmission sensor had failed. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred while attempting to leave a parking lot. The contact stated that the failure remained persistent and was recurring more frequently. The vehicle was taken to another dealer, Carson Honda(1435 E 223rd St, Carson, CA 90745), who performed a dual-clutch transmission check, but no failure was found. Additionally, the dealer diagnosed that there was excessive misfiring on cylinder #3 due to a head gasket leak. The dealer determined that the head gasket kit, the spark plugs, and the fuel injectors needed to be replaced, and an oil change needed to be performed. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the vehicle had become inoperable. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was unknown.

The transmission in my 2004 Honda Accord V6 3.0L is experiencing a serious safety defect. The transmission overheats while driving, begins slipping, and eventually the vehicle will not move at all. When this happens, I lose the ability to accelerate or maintain speed, creating a dangerous situation for me and other drivers. I have to pull over and wait for the transmission to cool before the car will move again. This failure matches the symptoms described in Honda’s prior transmission recall 04V176000 (overheating and gear failure due to lubrication issues). I have contacted Honda about this issue, and they opened Case #16008926, but the problem is ongoing and has not been resolved. The problem is reproducible and happens repeatedly after the transmission warms up. Warning symptoms include overheating and severe slipping before total loss of movement. This is a major safety hazard because the vehicle can suddenly lose power in traffic.

I am submitting this complaint to report a potential safety-related defect in the 1.5L turbocharged engine used in the 2018 Honda Accord. My vehicle experienced a sudden and severe head gasket failure that appears to be related to a known design flaw affecting a significant number of Honda 1.5T engines. Many owners are reporting the same. OFFICIAL COMPLAINT — HONDA RECALL NOT BEING FIXED Subject: Urgent Safety Complaint – Recall Cannot Be Performed by Any Honda Dealer To: American Honda Motor Co., Inc. – Customer Relations I am submitting a formal complaint against Honda because I have an open safety recall on my 2024 Honda Accord Sport Hybrid and no Honda dealership is able or willing to perform the recall repair, leaving me driving a potentially unsafe vehicle with no timeline for resolution. Summary of the Issue •I originally scheduled the recall repair with Braman Honda of Lake Worth, and they canceled my appointment the day before, stating they could not perform the recall. •I then attempted to contact Ed Morse Honda, who did not answer multiple calls. •When I called Honda Customer Service, I asked to escalate to a supervisor, and was denied. •Honda assigned a case manager, but scheduled a repair appointment for me without confirming my availability, at a time I could not attend. •When I called Ed Morse Honda to reschedule, they informed me that they cannot perform the recall because the software required for the update is not working. •I was told to simply “wait,” with no timeline, no workaround, and no assurance of safety. Safety Risk This recall involves a system failure that could cause the vehicle to stall or shut down unexpectedly. I am now: •Driving a car with an unrepaired safety recall, •Receiving warnings from my insurance company that the recall must be completed, •Feeling unsafe and potentially liable for an accident if my vehicle fails due to Honda’s inability to perform the recall.

Power steering TPM S and traction control lights are coming on after putting in a new battery. This is a recall for 2013 to 2017 Honda Accord sport with CVT transmission and for some reason, my car is not part of the batch, even though it is experiencing this issue. I am assuming the issue is the battery management
