The interior and exterior door handles broke on both doors on my 2013 GMC SIERRA truck. There was no warnings and my safety was at risk because the only way to enter or exit the vehicle is to crawl out the window.

I bought my 2015 gmc sierra 1500 certified and since then it has had vibrations when driving and hard shifts. The dealer has looked it over many times and said it's normal. Last month they said they sent gmc the readings and I haven't heard back. They have lied to me before about other vehicles and I'm tired of dealing with them not fixing it.

Dash is totally falling apart. There is large cracking above the gauge cluster and around the passenger airbag, and every day I am removing more small pieces that fall off. These pieces are small, sharp, hard plastic and even metal in some places that will cause serious damage to any occupants if I were to get in an accident. I treat my vehicle very well and have done my best to keep cracking under control but it is getting worse and worse every day now.

Randomly all electronics shut down engine stalls and lane assists wont let me turn wheel while driving in road. Normally at slow speeds. Get random warning lights that go away after seconds. When I activate a window switch all the electronics turn off and on. This happens randomly. No codes have been left to pull up when trying to solve issue. Twice with children in the car in traffic that we have almost got in a wreck due to these random issues.

My brake pedal randomly gets extremely hard, causing my truck to not be able to stop as it should. This almost caused me to read end the vehicle in front putting everyone in danger. There are no warning lights on. There is a recall for this issue that my model year falls under however my vin says no open recalls. It’s a booster vacuum seal problem with the breaks. Very frustrating that my truck is experiencing this recall issue but is not included. This causes a huge safety issue.

I have a 2013 GMC Sierra, purchased new in 2012, has approximately 35,000 miles. The check engine light came on while driving and suddenly another light came on. Then a third light came on claiming poor engine fluid quality. I immediately stopped at an auto parts store and put DEF fluid in the pickup and continued to drive thinking the lights would go out, but instead a warning was flashing on the dash that says after so many miles the truck will be slowed down. We started getting nervous because we were driving on the highway and if the truck suddenly slows down whilst driving in highspeed traffic, our slower vehicle would potentially cause a collision and put us and others in harms way. In reading your own safety site, there is a recall on the vehicle regarding faulty airbags, so it could be even worse! In our investigations of our current issue, we have found that there was a lawsuit from 2019 against GM and their faulty fuel system with their trucks. See link here https://www.detroitnews.com/story/business/autos/general-motors/2019/08/07/lawsuit-says-gm-sold-trucks-not-compatible-american-diesel-fuel/1943084001/ many people on many different forums have also complained about this same problem with no fixes, the only suggestions are to remove the emissions parts and refab the motor. GM tells them that they need to only use their specific DEF fluid, which is steering. GM is very well aware of the problems, because they have employees following these forums and commenting on them.(Dieselplace.com) The truck can be made available for you to see/inspect and I refuse to drive the truck until this issue is resolved.

I was leaving a parking lot and I lost all power steering and had to find a way into a safe spot to park. Just had it dropped off at the dealer. The truck steering wheel felt odd when I pulled in but it finally locked up as I was leaving going about 5 mph

I am a mechanic by trade and I noticed on 10/28/21 that gas was leaking from my truck's fuel pump. So I ordered a new fuel pump and prepared to install it last weekend. After removing the fuel tank it became obvious that I had a more serious problem with my truck. First, the fuel leak was from a rusted out fuel pump pressure line (on the actual fuel pump). This, in and of itself could have caused a fire as it was probably spraying gas directly onto the muffler! But then I find something much worse...the Fuel Tank Support Bar was completely rotted out! The Fuel Tank Support bar is part of the frame that hold the gas tank in place!! I guess I should be happy that it had a gas leak because if it hadn’t, the gas tank could have easily fallen out while I was driving it & could have killed both my wife & I! The truck is only 8 years old and I was shocked to see it in this condition. I have worked on cars that are over 30 years old and I have never seen this kind of rot on a frame! I purchased the truck in 2016 and I'm still making monthly payments on it! I would like to know what GMC is going to do to repair this! I have called the Dealership that I purchased it from but they were of no help. I anxiously await your reply! Thank you! When placing the truck in Drive, there is a very hard 'clunk' between first and second gear. Additionally, when driving, the truck shakes/shudders, mostly on the highway, but sometimes in town when driving between 25 and 70 m.p.h. The first instance was in March, 2019 whereby the dealer indicated this was normal operation for this transmission. As it seemed to get worse, I took it back and was told the transmission fluid was the wrong type and I had to pay to get it evacuated and changed out, even though this was an error on GMs part.
