SummarySome 2023 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit the vehicle's center display screen stuck on 75th Anniversary logo and after multiple ignition cycles may default to a black center display screen. This may be due to the TCU software. To correct the condition, perform a battery reset. Inform customers that engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition and will be released via a software update delivered over-the-air (OTA) expected in October 2024. Software will update automatically if vehicle connectivity is enabled in the vehicle's settings.

SummarySome 2023-2024 F-Super Duty and 2024 F-150/Nautilus vehicles may set DTC U211B:51 in the telematics control unit (TCU) module after a software update on the TCU is performed at dealer or via over the air (OTA) Update. The DTC U211B:51 in the TCU has no effect on vehicle functionality or connectivity. Replacement or reprogramming of the TCU will not resolve this condition. DTC U211B:51 should be ignored if no other DTCs are present in the TCU and no symptoms present. No further service action is required.

SummaryThis article supersedes TSB 23-2426 to update the list of modules needing a software update in the Service Procedure. Some 2023 F-Super Duty chassis cab vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an engine coolant temperature gauge falsely reading at the high end of the normal range while towing in high ambient temperatures with no diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) or warning messages present in the instrument panel cluster (IPC). This may be due to the software in the IPC. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the IPC. Note: Some vehicles built on or before 28-Feb-2023 may have TSB 23-2426 performed previously, but no IPC software update was available at that time. NOTE: The IPC software update that addresses the symptom listed in this bulletin may have been sent via Ford Power-Up software updates delivered over-the-air (OTA) to connected vehicles that have automatic updates enabled through the center display screen. Enter the vehicle identification number (VIN) in Professional Technician System (PTS) and check the "OTA Dashboard" under the "Connected Vehicle" tab for OTA update history. If an update to the IPC has successfully completed recently and the customer is reporting thesymptoms are no longer present, this article may not apply.

SummarySome 2021-2024 F-150/Bronco and 2023-2024 Escape/F-Super Duty vehicles built with SYNC 4 require a connected phone with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay active to enable voice interactions and use of the steering wheel voice control button. This is due to the affected vehicles not having built in voice interactions capability. Vehicles with built in voice interaction capability can be identified as also being equipped with the built in connected navigation feature which includes a navigation tab on the center display screen. Diagnostics should only be performed for voice interactions on vehicles equipped with built in voice interaction capability or with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay active.

SummaryCertain 2020-2024 Super Duty and 2021-2025 Model Year Econoline Equipped With a 6.8L or 7.3L Gasoline Engine Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Software Update In affected vehicles, the Variable Displacement Oil Pump (VDOP) delivers oil to the engine at low pressure/capacity during idle conditions. Routine occurrences of prolonged idle time may result in excess wear to the engine camshaft lobes and valve tappet surfaces due to reduced lubrication. Over time, the engine may progressively run rough due to cylinder misfire. Additionally, customers may hear engine tapping noises and the Check Engine Light (CEL) may illuminate

SummarySome 2023-2024 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a keyed ignition may exhibit a "Vehicle May Not Start/Restart Service Now" message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) U300A:01 stored in the body control module (BCM). This may be due to an obstruction of the ignition key due to a mispositioned grommet around the ignition lock cylinder. To correct this condition, reseat the grommet. This may require full or partial removal of the center instrument panel trim which the grommet seats into. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-12. Once complete, make sure there is no restriction to movement and retest. If the condition persists, refer to normal diagnostics in WSM, Section 211-05.

Some 2022-2024 F-550 and F-600 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 10R140 automatic transmission and 6.7L diesel engine may exhibit an illuminated powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P2704 and P0771 stored in the transmission control module (TCM) with poor shift quality and over 5,000 miles (8,000 km) in service. This may be due to wear between the input shaft and the E clutch hub causing the input shaft O-rings to become damaged resulting in an open E clutch circuit. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the E clutch hub and input shaft O-rings.
