Driving truck and pulling horse trailer at 70-75 mph and crossed a bridge on interstate highway which caused a bump and then front end of truck began to shake very hard and the truck pulled hard to the left. Managed to get it under control and moved to side of road and called dealership...who advised to continue trip and keep speed under 55. No further problems on that trip while staying under 55 mph. Dealer put a new steering dampener on Jan. 2, 2023. No further issues until Mar. 31, 2023 - while pulling a trailer and UTV - again hit a bump on interstate at about 75-80 mph and the severe wobble happened again. Truck pulled left but I braked immediately and was able to pull over and it stopped around 30 mph so I resumed trip. 20 minutes later, while driving closer to 65 mph, I went over a bridge on the interstate and the wobble started again suddenly as we exited the bridge. This time the shaking was so violent it took all of my strength to control it as it as the truck surged left and almost hit another car. The vehicles around me all braked hard to avoid me while I was braking hard to keep from hitting the car to my left. It was by far the most violent of the three incidents. I did not tow the trailer home from this trip and instead drove along at 55-63 mph. Twice I got the truck up to around 70 and you could feel vibration in both the steering wheel and the body floorboard - especially the right side. As long as I stayed below 55 it seemed to operate ok. This truck is primarily a tow vehicle for my wife and her horse trailer. I can say with certainty that if she were driving and the 'death wobble' happened to her, there is no way she could have held that truck straight. THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM!!! Now that I have looked and read online I cannot believe it hasn't been formally addressed yet by Ford. Its back at the dealer and we'll see what bandaid they come up with next. THIS IS A REALLY SERIOUS PROBLEM THAT NEEDS ATTENTION!!

The clock spring in my truck has been replaced two times now and is now failed for a third time. I’ve heard from other owners, and they are also experiencing problems with their steering wheel clock springs.

On 2 separate occasions (3-25-23, 3-26-23) the transmission was frozen in drive, could not bring it up to neutral ,reverse,or park. The first incident took about 10 minutes to put the truck in another gear. The second incident took about 20 minutes to engage in neutral and then another 20 minutes to engage the reverse mode. I called roadside assistance for help. But was in northern Michigan and did not have adequate cellular service to complete the request. Both times the vehicles was driven in heavy snow and slush. The second time the problem lasted almost an hour and was stuck in the woods.

I'm Experiencing with what several mechanics call a "Death Wobble". That is to say when I'm driving the vehicle and I hit a pothole or bump in the road Fifty five miles an hour or faster, the steering wheel and suspension shakes violently and and I have lost some control momentarily. I need to know whether or not there's been a recall for the 2019 Ford F250 crew cab lariat. My concern is the steering dampener, pitman arm and any other front end suspension linkage for the steering and suspension assembly is malfunctioning and needs to be recalled.

Traveling on the highway when I would hit rough road or potholes the front end would shake violently enough to scare me, like the front end was loose. I did not lose control, but it was at the point where I thought I could. I have never felt anything like it. After doing some research and finding many others with the same issue enough that the common name for it was the Ford "Death Wobble"! My Pickup is an F250 2020 with 60000 miles on it should not have that problem this soon. But in my research, I found that it was happening as low as 20,000 miles and that the repairs would only hold for about 25,000 miles. To verify I took it into the local Ford dealership who did a diagnostic check up on it and said the drag links were shot. They said it was a common thing and that they replace several a week to the tune of about $1500 plus dollars.

A notice of recall was received July 2022 by my family with the following numbers: Safety Recall Notice 22S35 / NHTSA Recall 22V337. I called NHTSA today to follow up on this notice, which in July 2022 I was told by Parsons Ford the fix was not available as of yet. [XXX] with NHTSA gave me a number to Ford's customer care hotline. Ford contacted Malloy Ford in Winchester VA which is suppose to call us when an actionable fix is available. They have no clue when that will be so I contacted NHTSA again today which now says there is no recall on my vehicle. So are we driving a vehicle that could potentially kill us or not. Why would the recall disappear within hours of talking to NHTSA & Ford? INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
