SummaryAfter a mechatronics, torque converter, or complete gearbox replacement, the clutches must be adapted to the new component. This requires a gradual move of the clutch linings toward the optimal operating points in the most diverse load conditions. As a result, sporadic driving power disruptions lasting for less than a second or reduced shift comfort are possible over the first 500 miles. This is normal, and these issues will decrease over time. The issues can also occur if the adaptation values of the gearbox were deleted.

SummaryThis condition may be caused when the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal are depressed simultaneously. Drivers who consciously or unconsciously drive with their left foot resting on the brake pedal are prone to experience this condition. With the introduction of Electronic Power Control (EPC) (no accelerator cable) to fuel injection systems, an engine RPM control feature has been incorporated into the engine electronic control system software. As a result, application of the brake and accelerator pedals at the same time (brake pedal with left foot and accelerator pedal with right foot) results in the following: ? Brake pedal function (normal at all times) overrides any throttle application. ? Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) will not be stored. ? When the brake pedal is applied while the accelerator is depressed, engine RPMs will return to idle speeds of 1400 RPMs after approximately two seconds. ? When the accelerator is applied while the brake pedal is depressed, the vehicle accelerates slower than usual (reduced engine torque).

The concern may be more apparent in colder weather, and may improve with warmth or an ignition key cycle. No DTC is stored and no warning appears in the cluster. This PSS TSB applies only to the comfort concern described in the condition of this PSS TSB. Please refer to the attached Information and Q&A document for guidance when handling each case. A solution is in development and will be made available as soon as possible. The steering wheel is mechanically linked to the wheels of the vehicle, and there is no loss of steering functionality.

SummarySupersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 91 number 13-73 dated January 25, 2013. Customer complains of a "popping" noise from the radio followed by 10-15 seconds of no audio. The concern can happen in any audio source. Vehicle is equipped with MMI 3G or MMI 3G+ infotainment systems. Vehicle is not equipped with Bose or Bang & Olufsen sound systems. An ignition cycle is not required for audio to resume. The problem originates in the HD radio code, which can create a "resetting" within the radio unit. Because the tuner is always active in the background, the problem can occur regardless of the audio source or if the HD radio is on or off. It can also occur at any point that the MMI is on, but not necessarily active. For example, the customer opens a door and the MMI starts up. Even though the system is not ?on? because the ignition is not active, the tuner is running and can create the effect.
