The menu display for stereo does not work. There is a recall on the 12.5 inch display which a representative from Toyota stated it could cause the menu options and stereo not to work, but when I took my vehicle to be serviced, it was not part of the recall. Someone needs to look into Toyota about this situation.

- #11683993August 29, 2025FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM, EXTERIOR LIGHTING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
1. Driving on the highway with adaptive cruise control feels like taming a wild horse. Pulls side to side, even after alignment and total check up from Toyota. 2. Engine Maintenace required now warning light. This came on at 106,458 miles on Toyota Camry 21 LE. Randomly turned on. Off when air con was turned off, light came back on when air con was turned on. Took to Toyota dealership, repaired at no cost, Coolant bypass valve circuit short to battery or open, known concern by Toyota. DTC p268115 Confirmed and repaired at no cost, customer care warranty. 3. Headlights full of water, condensation at 70,000 miles. Regular Maintenace each 5k miles, bought extended protection plan for 4k, purchased car brand new in 2021 0 miles. at 70k the headlights I noticed condensation inside the headlights. I thought it would go away, later at 100,000 miles both headlights at the same time started to flicker, then DRL only worked, and turn signals and side markers. LED assembly went out completely dead. DRL then stopped working. Headlight retaining clips pulled away from the body of the car. Completely plastic. Headlight seal is completely worn and is peeling away from the headlight. Toyota just inspected car at 106,000 miles nothing said about the headlights. Now at 114k, Need to replace entire headlight on my own. 1 headlight is 1900 at toyota. must replace entire assembly, since it is a LED module. cracks in top mounting latches, entirely plastic. LED circuit board inside headlight covered in corrosion. Kioto Mexico DM026 is the chip inside the headlight located under the LED module. LED lights last 10-15 years. I didn't know I was supposed to reseal a headlight after 3 years. Toyota never told me this, not in the manual either. My headlights are done for. it costs 3000-4000 for OEM. No help from Toyota so far. Quaity issue with LED headlight unit on both sides. Plastic housing falling apart, cracking, clips snapped and breaking, no accidents. others have this issue

Defect description: The front bumper cover clips located directly under the headlights on my 2025 Toyota Camry XSE are loosening and detaching. This creates a visible gap between the bumper and the body panels. The condition appeared during normal use and has persisted. No collision damage or aftermarket modifications are involved. Safety risk: If the clips continue to loosen, the bumper cover could detach further while driving. At highway speeds, this creates a risk of the bumper separating from the vehicle, potentially becoming road debris and causing a hazard to me and other motorists. Manufacturer response: My Toyota dealership has confirmed this is a known issue, but reported that Toyota currently has no available repair procedure or timeline for a fix. Toyota corporate has also documented my vehicle as affected but cannot provide a remedy. Reproducibility: The defect is visible at all times and worsens gradually with normal driving vibration.

The auxillary for the music has a short in it and Everytime a bump is hit it knocks it loose and it shuts off the whole thing. The screen and maps and music. The screen also freezes and my maps and route stopped working. I had to pull off the road to turn my car off to reset it. I have to do this multiple times if I'm using my screen for directions/maps. It's frustrating and annoying when u expect a brand new vehicle to work properly. It started a few weeks after I took it off the dealership. It also wouldn't connect to Bluetooth very well that's why I had to use the cord. I keep my phone and cord stationary. With the Bluetooth it would just disconnect completely or have static or breaks in whatever I'm listening to. When I hit a bump and the whole system gets turned off sometimes and it doesn't want to come back on when I touch the button. It seems that the whole system is glitching and if u depend on maps/directions to travel it makes things difficult. The next issue i had is with the seatbelt. I couldn't get it to release so I can put it on. The car was started but we hadn't pulled out or put it in any gear and the break was not pushed in. We had to turn it completely off again and wait a few minutes and restart it again. This is dangerous. I hope that the company looks at these complaints and fixes them because they r very scary. U expect a brand new vehicle to not have any issues especially at the prices we pay for them. We bought our vehicle in 2022 and had to wait over 6 weeks for it to arrive because it was ordered. Right now it 08/2025 and we r just now hitting the 30,000 mile marker on our vehicle. We don't drive it much but when we do it's long distances because we live out in the country and it's 45-60 minutes to town and these things can't be happening. Also I use my maps often because these r curvy small back roads where I live and not well marked if I'm going to a new location and I need my auxillary system to work right.

My wife was on the interstate and was caught in a storm. She turned on the wipers and slowed down to a crawl. The wipers barely worked in a thunderstorm and they were on high. She couldn't see anything and I had to pull off because visibility was zero. The wipers were very slow on high and it can cause a serious accident especially on a interstate and ur in traffic and going speed limit. The car was just bought brand new and only in my possession and 2 months. Be careful out there.

- #11681517August 19, 2025BACK OVER PREVENTION: REARVIEW SYSTEM BRAKING
The rear camera has stopped working. It started working intermittently approximately 6 months ago and now it does not work at all. The warning light saying that it was not available would come on when it first started having a problem but that stopped when it stopped working completely. It will show rear cross traffic alert at times but no picture and not every time there is traffic. It has been inspected for any sign of damage to camera wiring, none found

I have own this car for 1 year and already placed the front windshield two both times a small crack/chip occurred on the passenger side with no known cause. The chip grew because of heat and resulting in me having to replace it. Additionally Safelite technicians also informed me that the glass is so thin they are unable to repair it and always results in a complete replacement. I also own a 2014 Toyota tundra and have never had to replace this windshield even when I can recall a large rock impacting the window on the highway. I believe Toyota has significant issues with this glass and should have to recall the windows and reimburse me for my expenses. There are other incidents where dealerships have replaced them for free acknowledging there is a problem.
