This vehicle was purchased used from Carvana, LLC on [date] with three open safety recalls unrepaired at time of sale: NHTSA #23V-799, #24V-754, and Campaign #48A. The vehicle was previously owned by a rental car company and was transferred at auction while these recalls were open, in apparent violation of 49 U.S.C. § 30120(i), which prohibits rental companies from selling vehicles with unremedied open recalls. Despite Carvana's own signed Recall Acknowledgment listing these recalls as open, their delivery agent verbally represented the recalls had been fixed. All three recalls remain unrepaired as of this filing

I received recall notification number 24V653000, Stellantis recall 75B. This recall is detailed as a software malfunction in the ABS control module to disable the electronic stability control system. This will cause the vehicle to fail. It was serviced at Don Davis Ram dealership in Arlington, Texas on November 11, 2025 and was advised they were going to do a software update. On July 27th , I contacted (formerly Don Davis) now Clay Cooley Ram dealership and spoke to a service representative, Jose Hernandez. I explained that the brakes feel very spongy and takes more time to slow the vehicle down (constantly have to brake several times when approaching other vehicles or at red lights). It is very noticeable and is dangerous for me and others on the roadway. He explained that I am now responsible for the diagnosis evaluation of $99.95 plus the fee to update the EBS software. Jose explained that everytime the brake system needs to be updated, then I am financially responsible for these fees because the 36,000 miles warranty has expired. I explained to him that I am guaranteed a "Lemon Law" protection in my purchase. In addition, this vehicle only has approximately 28,000 miles

The contact owns a 2021 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving at undisclosed speeds, the steering wheel became difficult to turn, and excessive force was needed to turn the steering wheel to the left or the right. The Electronic Power Steering (EPS) warning light was illuminated. In addition, the contact stated that while driving approximately 5 MPH attempting to make a left turn, the steering wheel seized in place and failed to return to center. The local dealer was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired due to the cost. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 85,000.

The contact owns a 2023 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving on several occasions at various speeds, the seat belt, ABS, check engine, and other unknown warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that the messages “Service Transmission – Continue in D – Do Not Shift or Turn off Engine until You Reach a Desired Location”, "Service Power Steering", "Service Parking Brake", "Park Sense Temporary Unavailable", "Service Transmission – Continue in D”, and “Do Not Turn off Engine”, “No Buss” were displayed. Additionally, the windshield wipers activated inadvertently. The contact stated that on one occasion, while in the middle of traffic, the vehicle was pulled over to the side of the road and the contact attempted to turn off the vehicle by depressing the ON/OFF button, but the vehicle failed to turn off. After several attempts, the contact was able to turn off the vehicle. The contact turned off and restarted the vehicle several times to reboot the vehicle. When the vehicle was restarted, the vehicle failed to accelerate. The vehicle was towed to a dealer where it was diagnosed that there was an unknown issue with the wiring on the passenger’s side of the vehicle. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred 1 year and 7 months later. The vehicle was taken to another dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the CAN-C network was offline, the OCM was the module taking the bus down, circuit D13 was at 0.37 volts instead of 2.7 volts, and D14 had 0 volts, indicating a ground short. A connector was found in the wiring diagram closer to the OCM that should only have the OCM in it. D14 was rubbed through on the seat frame where it ran down from XY420A. While the technician was removing the wiring harness, the short to ground was no longer present. The rubbed section of the wire was cut out, and a new wire was installed, but the failure reoccurred within 24 hours. The vehicle was taken to the same dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that wiring needed to be resecured. The vehicle was

My 2026 Ram 1500 Bighorn Crew Cab After vehicle startup, approximately five seconds, after initiating forward,, the vehicle experience and abrupt engine shut down while in motion. Concurrently the vehicles, electronic parking brake forcefully self engages without driver command due to an automated safety conflict. This severe powertrain, and electrical failure completely strands the vehicle and active traffic, presenting an immediate life-threatening risk of a rear-end collision. This exact failure mode has occurred a total of five separate times, and the authorized dealership is currently attempting a software remedy under an escalated Corporate stare case.

Turn signal lever wouldn’t return to neutral position after completing a left turn. There was already a recall for this but my truck somehow passed inspection and so the component was never replaced. Since it ‘passed’ the recall was closed. I will have to pay out of pocket ($1,099) to replace. The component is the clock spring. According to dealer’s diagnosis: Air Bag - Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable: Clock Spring Not retracting turn signal lever back to position This assembly consists of a clock spring, which is a coil that retracts and expands inside its housing as the steering wheel turns. Its function is to maintain electrical continuity for all the components on the drivers airbag.

The dealer replaced the brake tow module the end of June and I was still getting trailer warning lights afterwards and took it back to the dealer and they said everything is fine found no problems that it was possible the trailer hitch was sticking out to far and maybe the sensors were randomly picking up the trailer hitch so I have been driving with no trailer connected and sensors turned off and still getting a trailer warning light on the dash as being connected. I have an Curt 51180 Brake controller I had used on 3 different trailers before the module was changed and I went to pick up my trailer this past weekend and my Curt brake controller will not operate and unable to program it as says trailer disconnected.

While driving, the front passenger side ball joint failed catastrophically. The wheel completely separated from the control arm and folded under the truck, causing the vehicle to drop hard onto the suspension and nearly lose control. I was extremely fortunate not to be involved in a crash or killed. Photos taken immediately after the failure show the wheel collapsed under the truck and the damaged suspension components (upper/lower control arm and ball joint area). This is a sudden, total failure of a critical steering/suspension part with no prior warning symptoms that I noticed.

- #11752721July 24, 2026ENGINE, FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM, POWER TRAIN
I purchased a new 2025 Ram 1500. Within the first week of ownership, the vehicle developed repeated engine misfires, check engine lights, and electrical issues, including a dead battery. The vehicle was repaired multiple times under warranty. The engine later suffered an internal failure that required complete engine replacement. After the engine replacement, the vehicle developed a new drivability problem. The truck now consistently shudders and hesitates during light acceleration and while maintaining a steady speed. The RPM has fluctuated unexpectedly, and the vehicle feels as though it is being fuel starved. This occurs without a check engine light. The dealership’s technician reproduced the condition during a test drive and confirmed the shudder. Stellantis technical support instructed the dealership to replace the mass airflow sensor as the first step in diagnosis but advised that they do not know whether this will correct the problem. I am concerned that the hesitation and shuddering could affect the vehicle’s ability to accelerate safely when merging into traffic, crossing intersections, or passing other vehicles. The vehicle has been out of service for an extended period while diagnosis and repairs continue.

Door locking electrical issue. When locking door as I get out and close the door and walk away the truck makes a noise and unlocks the vehicle. Have had problems since getting it new. Have taken back in 5 times with no resolution. I feel that as the truck may attract a thieve and cause harm to me or wife as we get back to the truck

MGU unit failed / car seized in the middle of the road - sent in to be repaired Unsafe to be stuck in the middle of the road, could not even put the car in neutral to push out of the road Known problem that RAM and Stellantis know about and are not placing warnings. We were told by the dealership we were 5,000 in line for a new part and that it would take a year. No warnings, truck ran perfectly before

- #11751870July 21, 2026FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
While driving northbound on [XXX] from [XXX] into [XXX] during heavy rain, my vehicle experienced an uncommanded Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) deployment just before the bridge. The sudden activation of the AEB system at highway speed on a wet surface caused the vehicle to lose traction, resulting in fishtailing and a subsequent head-on collision into the median. This malfunction not only put my life in danger, but the life of my passenger because if I was not able to recover as I did, the truck would have went right off the bridge. The AEB system is the component involved, and the vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The problem has not yet been evaluated or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center; currently, the vehicle is being evaluated by the insurance company, and inspection is pending. There were no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms prior to the incident. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

My truck had safety recall 24V-729 done to fix a turn signal that will not shut off. Since the recall I have had to have the same problem fixed an additional two times. The dealership will not classify it under the recall and have charged me for the repairs. They say that it is not the SCCM, which the recall says is the issue. My problem is that the turn signal has been fixed 3 times total.
