On [XXX], while driving my 2025 Ram 1500 Laramie at approximately 60 mph on a dark rural road, the truck suddenly stalled without warning. The engine shut off, but all lights and electrical systems initially remained powered. I shifted into Neutral and attempted to restart while coasting, at which point the truck completely lost electrical power — headlights, dash, ignition button, and interior lighting all went dead. I initially thought I might have accidentally cycled the ignition button off, but repeated attempts to restart had no response. As I rolled to a stop, the vehicle automatically shifted itself into Park, causing a sudden and violent stop. Once stationary, the truck restarted normally as if nothing had happened. Prior to this event, there were multiple related issues: – On [XXX], the truck would crank but not start for about 30–40 minutes before finally starting normally. – On [XXX], a check engine light appeared during an hour drive to LAX. After parking and restarting, the light disappeared. – On September 29, 2025, I took the truck to Crown Dodge in Ventura County, CA, where a wireless OBD-II scan found no codes. I was advised to return if the problem persisted. – A few months prior, the truck stalled at low speed when pulling forward from a stop in a parking lot. The [XXX] incident was extremely dangerous, leaving me completely unpowered and invisible to oncoming traffic at night. These repeated, escalating failures suggest a serious intermittent electrical or control system defect that could result in a crash or injury. The dealer has not responded to my attempts to contact them on October 13, 2025. I was able to get ahold of their receptionist but get sent to voicemails when transferred. ENGINE, SERVICE BRAKES, SEAT BELTS
Dodge has a "safety" feature to keep the vehicle from driving off if the driver exits the vehicle with it in gear. The safety mechanism detects the seatbelt undone, the driver seat sensor and the driver door open. If someone gets out of the vehicle while it is in Drive, the parking brake is automatically applied, the engine put in park then powered off. My problem is this "safety" mechanism has been faulty from day one and the vehicle randomly puts the parking break on or turns off the engine, while I am in the driver seat, with my seatbelt on, and the driver door shut. This has left me stranded for several minutes in various places including half-in dangerous intersections. Dodge denies there is any problem and refuses to look at it. When I take it in they just park it in their back lot for 3-4 weeks without ever moving it then say it all checked out fine. I have been complaining for two years. Oil pans are rusting through . Mine has 45,053 miles. In the 60k mile powertrain warranty. RAM refuses to fix because it is 'corrosion'. They want $1,861.53 to replace. These rusted pans are all over the internet.

ENGINE
When driving down the road, randomly the vehicle will derate and allow for 20 mph max for a short time, at times during this "derate" section, the vehicle will apply the park brake and shut off. I took the issue to the dealership, advised me to replace injector. Replaced one injector, brought home had same issue, over fueling on 2 separate injectors, installed all 7 remaining injectors (at my expense). Issue still arises. Brought back to the repairing dealer, plugged computer in, different error code arose, made an appointment to bring back on the following week. Drove 2 miles down the highway, unit would not drive over "limp mode" Service manager drove it confirming issues, had loaner car for several weeks, tried trading it in, dealership would offer me half of what paid 6 months prior. After some research, this is a known issue with this model vehicle and there is a "stop sale" on the part. Gave loaner vehicle back to dealership, continue to drive my Ram 1500 with known issue and random shutting down. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
The digital instrument cluster failed. All telemetry is shown on this cluster including speed, fuel level, rpm, odometer and more. The cluster was going totally black every two minutes and it would disable cruise, lane departure warning, blind spot warning and the check engine light was on. There was no indication prior that there was a problem, it just all of a sudden went black and beeped. Then it would come back after 5 seconds and do it again two minutes later. Also my odometer wasn't working or updating the miles. The dealer confirmed the cluster needed to be replaced. It sat at the dealer for 96 days before the repair was made.

Vehicle has been to the dealer numerous times they’ve changed the batteries. The truck will not start after it sits for 24 hours. The batteries are dead. Chrysler will not do anything about it. The dealership doesn’t know how to fix it. It’s been at the dealership on and off for almost 3 months now getting no answers or satisfaction. Truck is brand new.

Purchased vehicle [XXX]. Vehicle power steering quit working on [XXX], Dealership stated power steering control module rack is not working. Service department said vehicle not safe too drive . I have been driving rental since September 2,2025. When the steering quit warning lights did function, on lane assist, park assist. STEERING
On 10\09\2025 I was backing into a parking spot and when I was trying to adjust the position of the vehicle the power steering failed as I was backing up. After the power steering failed to work, the Power Steering Light appeared on the Dashboard. This is the first time this has happened. The safety issue is if I was going around a corner on the steering failed, my kids and I would probably be dead right now. Yes we live off a windy road. I left the truck parked at the shopping center overnight & it was towed to an Auto repair center locally. They told me to take it to the Dodge Dealership. The vehicle was towed to Pedder Dodge Chrysler on 10\10\2025. It is available for inspection.

Bought 2025 Dodge Ram on 9/9/24. Since then I have had it into the shop 10+ times. There is a check engine light that comes on. Engine runs VERY rough and erratic. Had issues driving away from a stop light, chugging, lack of power. Making a left hand turn is taking my life in my hands! Each time at the dealership, they run the codes. P0300 is the primary. They just say its a known issue. Manufacture is working on it. IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR NOW!! They have never actually done anything to the vehicle other than run diagnostics and turn off the light. In fact the last time I picked up the vehicle 9/12/25, they didn't even turn off the light. Tech said, "whats the point?" I have elevated this with the manufacture Case94136984. There reply was that its not dangerous and a fix is coming. Have you ever tried to make a left hand turn and the truck stops and starts chugging??? Even the dealership stated this IS a safety concern. Question of the day: This is a 2025 Dodge Ram. Are they STILL selling these vehicles with this known issue??? If they have fixed it in new sells, then FIX MINE! I have records of each time the light has come on, had it into the dealership, and been turned away because "there's nothing we can do, Dodge wont let us do more"

FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
My wife and I were driving at approximately 30 mph down a street with no vehicles or obstructions around. My truck auto braking initiated and locked up the brakes stopping us immediately and the vehicle turned off. I've taken the truck to the dealership for other electronic errors and issues, but they always get dismissed since they don't stay stored for the dealership to troubleshoot. They always clear when the vehicle restarts. Minor injuries from seatbelt due to sudden stop. Unsure of other damage to vehicle or tires. Thankfully no cars were behind us or we would have been rear ended.

Vehicles headunit no longer functions, backup camera system is also in-operational. Due to apparent over the air (OTA) updates to the uconnect infotainment headunit there is a widespread and known issue of, during the automated firmware update process, the vehicles battery being drained completely. This causes the vehicle to lose all power and the head unit to then fail the update process which creates a failure state for the headunit. In this particular case the headunit is "bricked" prescribled troubleshooting steps have been attempted but screen only displays: ("Software Update Update failed. Please re-insert USB Device.") according to a dealership service technician needs to be replaced. But there are none available for order. 2021 Ram 1500 BH UC 4 8.4" w/o nav.

Driving on the highway with cruise control set, heard a beep and looked at my instrument cluster. Cluster went blank, cruise control turned off, lane management turned off. Then another beep turned on instrument panel and now was frozen at 0 as I was driving at highway speed. Next I was stopped at the off ramp and instrument panel said I was doing 57. I have videos of it happening. And it is in a constant frozen to reboot stage

On September 11, I remember because of the date, I was coming up to traffic on Flamingo heading east to Nellis Rd. As I started to brake the truck suddenly accelerated rapidly. I slammed on the brakes and barely stopped in time to not rear end the car ahead of me. I put it into park, then put it into drive and I made it home. This happened again yesterday October 6 as I came through the Carls drive through. Had to slam on my brakes again to stop.

My 2025 Ram 1500 Big Horn, ~6,000 miles) experienced a steering-assist failure and then a ruptured coolant hose that sprayed coolant over electronics. Dealer (Hendrick Hoover) refused warranty service and instructed me to leave their property. Ram Customer Care told me to drive the unsafe truck home while my child was onboard. The vehicle is now inoperable and unsafe. I have photos and video of the leak and the dealer refusing service. I request an urgent safety investigation and that NHTSA notify Stellantis that my vehicle presents a clear safety risk.

POWER TRAIN
The contact owns a 2021 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving 40 MPH or slower, there was an abnormal whining sound coming from the engine compartment. While attempting to accelerate, the vehicle intermittently hesitated and slightly surged forward before accelerating. The failure had become more persistent over time. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact found information related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V265000 (Power Train); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was taken to be diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the motor generator had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was in the process of replacing the motor generator unit. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.

POWER TRAIN, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
This vehicle has less than 3,000 miles on it and has been in the shop at least three times for a recurring issue with the transmission "lunging" and "clunking hard upon down shift and upshift (automatic). The electrical system and computer are confused and cause the vehicle to literally stop and not engage in gear while driving! Today, the truck was in DRIVE awhile I was sitting at a light in heavy traffic. When I hit the gas at light change, the truck revved up but did not go! I was almost hit from behind as I had no brake lights indicated. Additionally, I kept getting a flashing gear selector indicator knob saying to put the TRUCK IN PARK AND SELECT THE DRIVE OPTION. I did but it still wouldn't go. I then got a software update light on the screen and the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT came on. I finally had to literally wave people around me in traffic as I was stalled out. I turned the truck off, restarted and it moved forward BUT at a high RPM. I have parked the truck but the dealer service is full up until late in the week and RAM CARE representatives were foreign and did not speak English well (I could not clearly understand them in my emergency call). Dealer is unwilling to act decisively to a life or death situation (opinion mine). SO we need to ensure we don't get killed or injured (God forbid) and IF there is a serious incident with this vehicle, there is documentation to attest it has been "serviced" several times for the electrical system fluctuating, the transmission dropping, and the engine not engaging the power train while driving. Attaching a PHOTO of the CURRENT Dash Lights (Warnings on the Left) and check engine light being on AFTER I got the vehicle re-running.
