Pinion Bearing Customer complaint of growling/groaning/grinding noise (not whine) from rear axle. Inspect pinion bearings for spalling. If spalling is found, replace the axle assembly without removing bearing cup from the housing. Please contact Ashley Gerebics at cell: (248) 472-6524 to arrange fast tracking of the axle to FCA. Customers may experience one or more of the following:Radio functions/touchscreen locks up (does not affect backup camera). Phone presets do not save. ?Navigation Failed? message is displayed. Navigation is inoperative or inaccurate. CD player will not play songs and/or locks up the radio. Clock will not automatically update to local time. Clock may be off by several hours. (RA3 only). Poor or no connection to cellular network. ?Charge Complete? notification is not received (RU PHEV only). Some Uconnect® App remote commands do not execute with the vehicle. Radio Apps are inoperative. Radio display screen is black or blank. Battery drain - due to radio staying on. Navigation failed message is displayed. Clock not automatically updating to local time. Rear View Camera In the case for inoperative camera, radio screen is blue or black in reverse mode. Before proceeding with the normal procedure call Ali Ikram at (248) 576-9265 Mon- Fri between 8 am - 4pm. If you do not get a response within 15 minutes continue with the normal diagnostic procedure. Before replacing the camera, please disconnect and clean harness and camera connector. Clean & dry both connectors. If replacing the camera, please replace wire harness also and return parts to QEC.

Trans Oil Pan, Heater Tube or O-ring, Heater Applies to vehicles equipped with 8 speed transmissions only; If you have a leak that appears to be at the pan the use of proper leak detection is recommended. The fluid in the 8 speeds can be detected with a black light and there are aftermarket spray on leak detection materials to help ensure that the leak is properly diagnosed and not from another location such as cooler lines, heater tubes, or case porosity. If you have a leak concern please note that the transmission pan gasket is available for many of the 8 speed applications FCA offers. See your parts specialist for the proper gasket for the repair.
