On 11/29/25, my vehicle stalled in the middle of the expressway during high speed traffic. This has happened multiple times but this is the first time this has happened while I am on the expressway. An error message came across the dash “engine malfunction” and I was unable to accelerate. I had the vehicle towed to the dealership and they reprogrammed something. I have filed a complaint about this issue before. I do not feel safe operating this vehicle. I have an open consumer affairs case open with Nissan right now. I received an email from Nissan warning about an engine malfunction the day AFTER my engine malfunctioned. I would like this situation remedied please. This vehicle is unsafe to drive with an open recall.

On November 17, my 2025 Nissan Rogue caught fire after my hour commute to work. During my commute, there were no warning signs on the dash for the entire duration. Got to the office, parked the vehicle, and within a few minutes a coworker called me to let me know the car was up in flames. The fire quickly intensified and got hot enough to melt the hood, and made its way into the interior after it shattered the windshield. The fire started in the engine compartment, near the battery. The insurance company has a fire investigator attempting to determine the cause of the fire. The car had approximately 12,000 miles.

My 2025 nissan rogue rockcreek back windshield randomly exploded and shattered while driving down the road. There was no impact by anything and nothing hit it. There was a cold snap and I was using the defrost and had just turned it off when it shattered. Looked it up and this appears to be happening to many other owners as well. It appears to be some sort of defect. There was an issue with Hondas last year the same thing happening and it had something to do with the defrost elements coming in contact with the rear windshield. I believe this is a similar defect and needs to be fixed. I had to pay out of pocket to fix this because the dealer said replacement windshields were on back order.

My back windshield exploded while it was parked in my office’s lot. The glass completely shattered for no apparent reason. I had to drive my vehicle with glass still connected but about to fall out. I went to the dealership and shut the door, and it all fell out. I have seen hundreds of online posts with the same thing happening to other Nissan Rogues, and the dealership is saying they aren’t going to cover it and claim they have never heard of the issue. There were no warning signs that this was going to happen.

While driving approximately 40 mph , lost power to the vehicle. No lights no warnings. The gas pedal pushed all the way to the floor and wouldn’t go , lost power steering AND ALL. coasted into a parking lot where my dash then gave the RAB light and a oil light , not due for a oil change , and still won’t turn on.

My vehicle has been engine recall since July 2025 with no remedy to the repair. I have only 6509 miles on this vehicle. This is totally unfair to consumers paying car nuts on a car tgstbus safety rusk with no incentives to the customer. The car is not safe to drive.

The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving at various speeds and depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle hesitated while responding. The contact stated that the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) and other unknown warning lights were illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic, who advised the contact that there was an open recall for the engine and referred the contact to a dealer. The contact had received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The dealer diagnosed the vehicle and determined that the engine needed to be replaced. The contact advised the dealer of the recall notification; however, the dealer informed the contact that the repair would be at the owner's expense. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and advised the contact to call back in December. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.

The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that the vehicle was experiencing rough idling and made an abnormal knocking sound. The contact stated that the low oil pressure warning light remained illuminated approximately 30 seconds after an oil change, which required the contact to turn off and to restart the vehicle approximately 5 times for the warning light to turn off. The dealer was contacted, and confirmed that despite experiencing a similar failure, the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V437000 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The contact stated that he was a mechanic and had changed the oil and the filters several times; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.

Nissan chime speaker unbelievably loud at car start up. The seat belt chimes and any chime that comes from the dash speaker is louder than normal. The speaker is “ inst panel speaker 24832-6ra0a. “ I have only had this car for one year this November. It happened for a few days during the first month or two having the car then it went back to normal, now it is doing it again and has lasted a month. Seems to happen only when it’s cold outside. Sometimes chime will start normal then grow increasingly loud.

I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rogue from Galles Chevrolet, located at 2801 University Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107, on May 17, 2025. According to the vehicle history report, the vehicle has an active stop-sale record issued by Nissan. I am unsure of the specific component or system affected. Still, cars under an active stop sale should not be sold until the underlying safety or performance issue has been addressed. Since purchase, we have already experienced several issues with the vehicle, including: Engine performance problems, such as stalling and unusual sounds during startup. Electrical and digital system malfunctions, including warning lights, dashboard errors, and intermittent failures of the infotainment system. Other mechanical concerns include inconsistent braking responses and occasional unusual vibrations from the suspension, as well as numerous other issues. The stop-sale record indicates a potentially serious defect that could put the driver or others at risk. I have not been able to confirm the exact nature of the defect or whether it has been repaired. However, there are still two campaigns/recalls associated with my VIN. I am submitting this report to NHTSA to request an investigation and ensure that the vehicle is safe for operation. All payments are current, and there have been no crashes, fires, or injuries associated with this vehicle to date.
