Factory mode may have been left active resulting in a disabled Auto Park function. Dealers will inspect, and if necessary, remedy the vehicle by configuring the Automatic Park Function. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this service campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History â Open Campaigns I.D. PC982 ⢠New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). ï§ Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information ⢠Please continue to check newly arriving inventory for campaign applicability. 2. If a retailed vehicle affected by this Campaign ID visits the dealer for service, the dealer should inform the customer about the service campaign and communicate that the configuration update is available. 3. Once remedied, dealers should submit the applicable warranty claim for the action performed so it can be closed in Service Comm and release the vehicle to the customer.

This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number PC982 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealerâs inventory.

Summary12 VOLT BATTERY TESTING FOR IN-SERVICE VEHICLES SERVICE INFORMATION The following Service Information lists NNA procedural recommendations for establishing good connections while performing 12V battery testing. These recommendations are expected to promote uniformity during the connection process, therefore reducing the number of incorrect âTest with DCAâ and âReplaceâ results. HINT: If 12 volt batteries are allowed to discharge for a prolonged period of time, battery life may be drastically reduced. This condition may lead to premature battery replacement and customer dissatisfaction. IMPORTANT: ï· CPX-900 is now an accepted testing tool to use along with or in place of the DSS-5000 ï· CPX-900 operating instructions are found at: https://nissancpx900.midtronics.com/ ï· DSS-5000 operating instructions are found at: https://nissandss5000.midtronics.com/ ï· DCA-8000 is now a required testing tool to be used for all warranty replacement decisions. The DCA-8000 is also a more efficient charger than previously available, and will charge any available 12 volt lead acid battery safely and accurately as long as all precautions and inputs are made correctly. In addition, under service campaign (PC975), Nissan will provide owners of certain 2022-2023 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab SV Long Wheel Base vehicles with a supplement to be placed with the Ownerâs Manual (Note: these hitches were previously labeled and these owners do NOT require a warning label for the trailer hitch). The information contained in the Ownerâs Manual supplement revises or adds to the âTowing a Trailerâ, Towing Safetyâ, âTrailer hitchâ and âClass IV hitchâ sections of the âTechnical and consumer informationâ section of the Ownerâs Manual. The supplement and the label will remind current and future operators that the trailer hitch should not be removed or replaced. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. If a dealer receives a supplemental Ownerâs Manual addendum for a vehicle they have retailed, currently have in their new vehicle or pre-owned inventory, or a Nissan Rental Car (NRC), the dealer should either forward the ownerâs manual addendum to the current owner or add the addendum to the Ownerâs Manual in the glove box of any affected vehicle they currently control.

HINT: The customer may report the following if this issue should occur: ï· The seat track seems loose when braking or accelerating. ï· The seat track is difficult to lock in place. ï· After adjusting the seat track, it shifts/locks into place while driving. ACTION Adjust/synchronize the outboard seat track following the SERVICE PROCEDURE in this bulletin.

SummaryDTC B2E1B-06 (AUTOMATIC ECALL) STORED AS CURRENT IN IVC SERVICE INFORMATION The APPLIED VEHICLES that come equipped with a factory installed SOS switch, located near the overhead map lamp, also come equipped with a wireless communication device called a Telematics Communication Unit (TCU). With an active NissanConnect® Services subscription, the TCU communicates with the Nissan Data Center to provide various security and convenience services. 1. When diagnosing DTC B2E1B-06 (AUTOMATIC ECALL) on an APPLIED VEHICLE: ï· If DTC B2E1B-06 is not âCRNTâ in the IVC, DO NOT replace the TCU. Erase the DTC. No further steps are needed. ï· If DTC B2E1B-06 is âCRNTâ in the IVC, replace the TCU. o Refer to the ESM: REPAIR > DRIVER INFORMATION & MULTIMEDIA > AUDIO, VISUAL & NAVIGATION SYSTEM > REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION > TCU
