  Mercedes-Benz AG ("MBAG"), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain Model Year ("MY") 2020-2021 GLE-Class (167 platform) and GLS-Class (X167 platform) vehicles equipped with Michelin Primacy Tour A/S tires, the maximum tire pressure specified on the tire placard located on the B-pillar and on the fuel filler door is inconsistent with the maximum permissible tire pressure listed on the side wall of the tire. In this case, the requirements of FMVSS 110 might not be fulfilled. The equipped Michelin Tour A/S tires can be operated safely up to a tire pressure of 50 psi (350 kPa). Thus, operation of the tires with a tire pressure according to the tire pressure listed on the placard 46 psi (320 kPa) or according to the tire pressure specified on the tire sidewall 43 psi (300 kPa) would have no adverse safety consequences or affect the performance of the vehicle. Therefore Mercedes Benz AG intends to file a petition for "inconsequential noncompliance".

  Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (?MBUSA?) has entered into an agreement with the United States Department of Justice (DOJ), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the California Air Resources Board (CARB), and the California Attorney General?s Office (CA AG) regarding the emission control system in certain Mercedes-Benz diesel vehicles. As part of this agreement, MBUSA will offer field measures referred to as the Approved Emission Modification (?AEM?) for the affected vehicles. As a result, certain vehicles covered under this notification cannot be sold or caused to be sold, or leased or caused to be leased, or introduced into commerce, or exported from the United States to another country, until after the AEM described in this notification is performed.

  Dear Mercedes-Benz Owner: The purpose of this letter is to advise you of additional benefits that Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (“MBUSA”) is providing to you regarding your vehicle ownership. This warranty extension is fully independent of all provisions of the proposed settlements filed on September 14, 2020. Accepting this warranty extension does not affect your decisions, benefits, or rights under those proposed settlements, if approved by the Court. You do not need to receive the approved emission modification that will be available if the Court approves these proposed settlements, or take any other action in connection with those settlements, in order to receive this warranty extension coverage. You will receive separate communications from MBUSA regarding the proposed settlements that were made public on September 14, 2020 as well as the potential impact on your vehicle after the settlements are approved by the Court and an emission modification is available for your vehicle. What’s Included In our continuing efforts to assure the proper performance of Mercedes-Benz products and to enhance the satisfaction of our customers, MBUSA is extending the warranty on the Pressure Sensor for the affected vehicles indicated below from the vehicle’s original New Vehicle Limited Warranty start date to a total of 10 years/120,000 miles. This warranty extension to the existing pressure sensor applies to the vehicle regardless of ownership. This pressure sensor extended limited warranty applies to all conditions that necessitate the replacement of the pressure sensor under the standard warranty terms and conditions.

  Mercedes-Benz AG (“MBAG”), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain Model Year (“MY”) 2012-2016 Mercedes-Benz Model 212, 221, X204 and 166 vehicles (E250 BLUETEC, E250 4MATIC BLUETEC, E350 BLUETEC, S350 4MATIC BLUETEC, GLK250 4MATIC BLUETEC, ML250 4MATIC BLUETEC, ML350 4MATIC BLUETEC, GLE300 d 4MATIC and GL350 4MATIC BLUETEC), the warranty on the Pressure Sensor will be extended from the original New Vehicle Limited Warranty of 4 years/50,000 miles to 10 years/120,000 miles. This pressure sensor extended limited warranty applies to all conditions that necessitate the replacement of the pressure sensor under the standard warranty terms and conditions. Please be advised that all pressure sensors being claimed under warranty must have a short test with fault code information (P159600, P047200, P047211, P047214) attached, and will be inspected. All pressure sensors found to be functioning properly or without proper documentation will be returned and the claim debited in full.   This NCU replaces the prior NCUs issued on May 18, June 25, 2020 and October 1, 2020 and contains important workshop instructions on how the HVAC Service Warranty repair must be carried out. To enhance the satisfaction of our customers, avoid further costs of litigation, and return focus to its core businesses, Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) has entered into a settlement regarding claims relating to alleged mold and mildew odors originating from the HVAC system in certain Mercedes-Benz vehicles. As part of the settlement, MBUSA has agreed to offer sliding-scale warranty coverage for certain vehicles diagnosed as having mold or mildew odors originating from the HVAC system. Although the settlement has received court approval, warranty coverage will not take effect until December 7, 2020, when the appeal period for class members will have expired. If the settlement takes effect, warranty coverage will include cleaning of the evaporator and replacement of the HVAC filters.
