SummaryWhen operating a control point to open the trunk lid or the tailgate, the trunk lock unlocks, but there is no actuation of the trunk control/tailgate control drive unit (M51/3). Faulty microswitch signal of trunk lock. In the event of a problem, the status of the trunk lock (picture 1) does not change during opening/closing of the trunk lid or tailgate. The function of the interior trunk release is not affected. Replace trunk lock (A85/5).

The fault will be rectified by the newly included coding. As a result of the software update to the current software of the control unit N112/9 - Control unit for telematics services (HERMES), this fault will no longer occur in future.

The update is free of charge and will be carried out in the background. The installation will eliminate software errors for a better entertainment experience. MBUSA will conduct an OTA service campaign. A workshop visit for the customer is not required since remote software updates are automatically downloaded and installed in the customerâs vehicle. The OTA may be validated as successful on the customerâs Mercedes Me connect app under âOver-the-Air Vehicle Updatesâ as either âSoftware Update MBUX 2.4â or âSoftware Update Hermes 1.5 E522.8â. If the OTA is successful it will show a green âinstalledâ and date of installation in the Over-the-Air update section.

In the FUP4 variant of the head unit software (Q1/2024), stability improvements have been made to the Wi-Fi connection.

SummaryComplaint - AIRMATIC fault message in instrument cluster - Compressor inoperative, 40A compressor fuse possibly triggered. - Vehicle level is not adjusted correctly, the vehicle possibly leans at an angle Cause Moisture in the compressor freezes at temperatures below zero and may block the compressor. As a result, the starting current when the compressor starts up is too high. Fuse is triggered Remedy Replace compressor, fuse, and relay. Update software and SCN coding. Please invoice the case using damage code 32671 73. Addition: Unscrew pressure line between compressor and valve block and check for moisture. If there is moisture in the pressure line, it can be assumed that there is also moisture in the AIRMATIC valve block. Replace AIRMATIC valve unit.
