SummaryComplaint Noises from the area of the steering column. - Creaking - Squeaking - Chattering - Humming - Grinding Cause At present, there are no known noise problems with the steering column. Remedy Check surrounding area of the steering column for possible noises. • Instrument panel support • Steering column switch module If noise only occurs when adjusting the steering column via electric actuation please perform: 1. Disassemble bellows of steering column tube module. 2. Move steering column entirely out and entirely down. 3. Grease steering column on green-marked positions with a suitable brush (find pictures in attachment). 4. Move column up 1/4 of the way and grease again. 5. Continue until upper limit stop is reached. 6. Then move steering column adjustment in all directions from limit stop to limit stop several times to work in the grease. 7. If noise does not resolve, perform above procedure again. 8. Then move steering column adjustment in all directions from limit stop to limit stop several times to work in the grease. 9. If noise still does not resolve, please open a TIPS case. For all other noises or if the above does not resolve, create a TIPS case Body, Chassis, and Entertainment inbox. Attach a detailed description of the noise complaint, images, and a recording of the noise. A detailed description includes: • Position of height and longitudinal adjustment when the noise occurs • If possible, locate affected component part on steering column • State any change in the noise when steering column component parts are touched (e.g. spring, etc.)

SummaryComplaint The flap of the reversing camera opens and closes by itself during forward travel several times during the trip. No camera image is displayed in the head unit. The reversing camera or the 360° system functions normally when activated manually or by engaging drive range "R". Cause This is not a malfunction, but an intended system behavior. Calibration of the reversing camera is in progress. The calibration is completed by: • Opening the camera cover for a maximum of 5 cumulative minutes. • If the vehicle speed is < 35 km/h (<22 MPH). • The steering wheel angle is < 10°. If calibration is aborted by exceeding one of the above conditions, the camera retracts and the calibration will re-attempt once the conditions are achieved and the speed returns to the range of 18 km/h (~11 MPH). Remedy SCN code PARK213M on MFA2 facelift vehicles produced after 09/2024 (A-Class, CLA, GLA, etc...) so the complete calibration speed window is available. For vehicles with PARK213M or PARK223 a calibration is completed successfully by: • Driving forward (typically less than 1 minute). • Vehicle speed is < 35 km/h (<22 MPH). • The steering wheel angle is < 10°. • During daylight. • Without a vehicle following too closely (camera must be able to see asphalt). When calibration has completed successfully, the camera door closes automatically for the rest of the driving cycle. The camera will now only open if the customer requests (Example: Engaging reverse gear). The calibration of the camera will re-initiate every drive cycle (ignition change). The customer can generally perform calibration at the first attempt while briefly maintaining a speed range of 15 km/ h (~9 MPH) and 35 km/h (~22 MPH). The customer can therefore play a significant role in reducing the camera door noise and actuation frequency.

SummaryComplaint After the charging process is complete, an instrument cluster message with a charging error appears and FC P0CFE00 is stored in control unit "N83 - AC charger for high-voltage battery (SG-LG)". The fault message and the fault memory entry can also appear at the beginning of the charging pause during delayed charging. Both only occur in combination with active pre-entry climate control. Cause Software in control unit "N83 - AC charger for high-voltage battery (SG-LG)". Remedy For model series 167, 214, 254 and 223 with code 802: Perform SCN coding in control unit "N83 - AC charger for high-voltage battery (SG-LG)". Please do not replace any parts even if the FC P0CFE00 coding continues to appear after successfully completing this step. A new software is currently in development and will become available in late 12/2025. Replacing parts will not remedy the issue. For model series 243: The correction is already available. Please inform the workshop to perform a software update and SCN coding for the control units "N116/5 - Direct current charging connection unit (DCCU)" and "N83/11 - AC charger for high-voltage battery (SG-LG)" in order to remedy the problem.

SummaryComplaint USB port not functioning properly. Cause Most reported USB port issues are due to improper use or contamination. Note: Any repair costs must be discussed with the customer beforehand. Common external factors identified include: • Fluid intrusion • Broken bushings or physical damage See attachments. Remedy If a component needs replacement but shows no visible external damage, submit a detailed TIPS case only when technical support is required. Include details of all connected external devices (such as charging cables, USB drives, and hard drives). If diagnostic results directly indicate component replacement, a TIPS case is not necessary.

SummaryComplaint • Vehicle cannot be started • Warning in the instrument cluster related to High-voltage on board electrical system • The following fault codes related to interlock can be found in the High Voltage Control units : • PTCU (N127) : P154700 - There is a warning due to a detected fault in the interlock circuit. • BMS (N82/9) : P0A0B00 - The interlock circuit of the high-voltage on-board electrical system has a malfunction. P0A0D00 - The interlock circuit of the high-voltage on-board electrical system has a short circuit to positive. • DCB (N116/5): P0A0A00 - The interlock circuit of the high-voltage on-board electrical system has an electrical fault. P0A0B00 - The interlock circuit of the high-voltage on-board electrical system has a malfunction. P0A0C00 - The interlock circuit of the high-voltage on-board electrical system has a short circuit to ground. • OBL (N83/11) : P0A0B00 - The interlock circuit of the high-voltage on-board electrical system has a malfunction. P0A0C00 - The interlock circuit of the high-voltage on-board electrical system has a short circuit to ground. Cause • Oxidation in interlock circuit pins of the low voltage connectors in the components • Twisted harness • Harness scratching with the body • Wiring harness chafed/cut at the ECUs • Broken interlock connector • Improperly connected HV connectors • Interlock pins on HV components are bent or deformed Important Note : • In case of interlock failures, the High-voltage component is less likely to cause the issue. Remedy Remedy 1: Interlock loop resistance measurement (Refer attachment "243 Interlock Resistance Measurements.pdf") Remedy 2: Additional check points for interlock issues

SummaryIMPORTANT INFROMATION Your vehicle has an OPEN safety recall regarding the high-voltage battery. The vehicle’s high voltage battery might be insufficiently robust at a high State of Charge (“SOC”) - an internal short circuit of a battery cell in the high-voltage battery might occur, which could lead to the risk of a fire, within the high voltage battery. Until the remedy software update is performed on your vehicle, the maximum SOC for your vehicle’s high-voltage battery must be set to 80%.
