SummarySome customers may complain that the driverâs side outer mirror glass vibrates when driving at high speeds at approximately 60 mph (100 km/hour ) or more on bumpy roads such as road joints, coarse-grained paved roads or rough roads. This is caused by insufficient hardness of the adhesive tape between the outer mirror glass holder and the mirror glass. To eliminate this concern, the material of the adhesive tape between the outer mirror glass holder and the mirror glass has been improved and the tape location has been modified.

SummarySome vehicles may exhibit a high-frequency noise from the fuel pump. When the fuel temperature is high, vaporization may occur in the return fuel from the pressure regulator valve assembled on the fuel pump unit. In that situation, the spring in the pressure regulator causes self-excited vibration, resulting in the high-frequency noise. To eliminate this concern, the shape of the pressure regulator valve in the fuel pump has been modified to control self-excited vibration by reducing pressure differences in the valve path.

The repair will be reprogramming side radar sensor software with the M-MDS, using MDARS. There are 8,041 vehicles in the campaign.

SummaryWhen the Telematics Control Unit (TCU) replacement is necessary due to a failure, use MDARS to activate the new TCU after replacement. Use the information in this service alert to initialize the new TCU until the procedure on MGSS is updated.. CAUTION: DO NOT swap TCU with another vehicle as the TCU is VIN locked after activation. A TCU swap with another vehicle will disable Connected Services on both vehicles. If TCU activation is not performed, connected vehicle functions will not operate. This will have a negative impact on the customer because they will need to return to the dealer for repairs.
