- #11703747December 8, 2025TIRES:TREAD/BELT
The tire (Bridgestone Ecopia 422 Plus 235/55R 20 102V M+S) failed within seconds while driving on the highway at 70 MPH. Luckily I did not lose control and was able to steer the car from the middle lane to the birm thanks to the semi driver on my right who allowed us to get off the road quickly. There was almost no rubber remaining on the rim and the tire pressure sensor was gone. The tow truck driver and NTB tire technician said the tire appeared to have failed due to delamination of the steel belt. Subsequent searches on the internet seem to support belt failure as the cause of the rapid loss of the tire. Walmart has refunded the cost of the failed tire. Bridestone is being less than helpful relative to the remaining three tires, which have less than 2,000 miles on them.

When using android auto and I get a phone call the car screen will not return back to it's original screen. If I use apple car play it's just fine and it works like it should and the screen returns to it's original screen. I had the same issue with my 2022 Yukon when I purchased it. General motors later came out with two software updates and after the last update the issue was resolved. I filed a complaint with lexus three different times and they refuse to correct the problem. The safety issue I have is after the phone call I have to keep punching the screen to get it back. I should be watching the road rather than looking and punching the screen. Why should lexus just build their vehicles for apple and not android since 50% of the phones are android. I have a 2024 identical Rx lexus and it has the same problem. General motors seen the software issue and they corrected it but lexus WON'T. Lexus told me originally that it was a android problem and I didn't know any better until my Yukon was updated and fixed. This vehicle was just taken in to lexus and there where no update to fix the problem. Like I said I've been dealing with this on both vehicles since 2023. Like I said I have filed three case complaints and made ten plus phone calls with NO results. The last call was with the corporate office and was told there was no update software update for android phones.

I bought this vehicle last Thursday, The new Lexus we only drove it three times, but all power down. The first time we were about to go to work, the whole vehicle no power, so I checked the battery, it was 10 Volts, so I used my CRV battery turned on Rx350, it's working, Second time, when I arrived my work place, I turned off the new vehicle, The Whole power down again, After I checked the battery, it showed 12 Volts, after I checked the battery, the power came back. The third time, After working, I got totally locked outside the RX350, I tried so so many times, The Whole power was gone again, so I broke the handle and used the key get into the car, and checked the battery, still 12 volts, after my checking battery, the power back again! So I am sure it's not only the battery problem, but also Power management module something wrong with it, or a module named 89690-0E011 Is damaged , I am very sure the new RX350h needs very very professional technician repair, This vehicle has serious safety hazards and poses a threat to life and safety.

I have a 2022 Lexus RX350 F Sport. There are many complaints for this problem with this era of Lexus that happen daily. When pulling out into traffic the vehicle stutters or hesitates; this could cause a serious accident with injuries or death. I think it is a problem with the transmission shift programming. In an attempt to be fuel efficient, Lexus created a serious safety problem in my opinion. My car is under warranty, I brought it to the dealer and they said that is normal and a known issue with that era of Lexus; there is no fix or repair. Despite being under warranty, I paid to have the transmission system reset to learn my style of driving. The reset had no effect positive or negative. There were 750,000 Lexus RX's made between 2016 and 2022. Nearly all are affected by this problem. Note: Lexus RX450 hybrid uses a different transmission and likely does not have this problem. Please force Lexus to find a fix for this likely injurious, potentially deadly issue. Gemini AI reports this as a very common problem with this generation of Lexus RX. https:XXX I know it may have been helpful to have had a crash, injury, or fatality to help bolster my argument, but isn't the point to avoid that? Please don't let a numbers game cause more injuries or deaths. This is a known wide-scale problem that Lexus is not fixing. Thank you for your consideration. I entered then attempted to start my Lexus on November 11, 2025. The car would not start - the dashboard lights fleshed briefly, then the car was completely dead. There was not a light on anywhere. The doors would not open and the windows would not roll down. I was trapped. fortunately I had my cell phone so I was able to call my wife who was inside of our house. She could not open the door with the manual key, She called AAA. The tech hooked up some power device under the hood and the car started and seems OK. This was frightening. I was trapped in the car and running out of air. I could have suffocated.

While driving, the instrument panel went blank. I believe it is not safe to drive with no instrumentation or knowledge of your vehicle or speed. The dealer confirmed it needed a software update and performed this yesterday. We were not advised of this needed update, no recall or no communication from the manufacturer. We should be advised when something this critical is needed.

- #11694165October 17, 2025FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
I was driving the vehicle up a road I drive every day, when suddenly the instrument cluster showed a picture of a red pedestrian icon, and slammed on the breaks. It threw me forward, but quickly proceeded on like normal. It detected a pedestrian that was not in front of the vehicle. This was only 20 days after I got the car. It proceeded to do this three more times, with similar severity, but at different speeds and different locations. The fourth instance, I was driving home and the vehicle had the same pedestrian detection of an imaginary person, this time breaking me from 40 mph to 12 mph with a car behind me. Thank the lord I was not hit. I made a service appointment asap, and it was there for 8 days. I had it happen to me 5 times in 3300 miles and 2.5 months, and they drove it 12 miles and said they couldn’t duplicate it. Cooperate told me to send it up to another store which I did. It has now been there for 16 days, and they can’t find an issue either. I am not comfortable driving the car because it could have a breaking incident at any time, and is putting me in danger. Cooperate has told me to file a lemon case or quote “wait for it to happen again and try and document it in better detail.” I have given them locations, time and date estimates and weather estimates for every instance, and I’m still getting put back in a car that someone at Hendrick Lexus North considered a “liability.” I am beyond disappointed in Lexus for going against their word, is making me the guinea pig in a effort to try to replicate the issue. This is my third Lexus, and my image of the brand is ruined.

While we were driving, our sunroof just exploded! There was no-one around us. There was a loud bang, glass was flying and the wind was so loud we couldn't hear each other. If my wife would have been driving, we probably would have wrecked because she screamed and through her arms in the air. We exited off the road, inspected our vehicle and took pictures. The only damage we could see was the front section of our sunroof was shattered. We drove to the nearest dealership where they took pictures and ordered a new sunroof. I might add they couldn't guarantee the replacement would be under warranty, which I find shocking. My wife and I are on vacation and we had to leave our car in another state along the way and rent a car.

Heard clicking noise coming from steering wheel. Car shimmied when breaking off of freeway. Newish car, only 20,611 miles. Took into dealership before anything went awry. Dealership said never heard of the steering problem before. Turned out it was a tie rod going bad and repair was covered by warranty. Break issue was also covered by warranty.
