Summary2013 JX35 AND 2014-2020 QX60; REMOVAL OF HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LOCATING BRACKET SERVICE INFORMATION If replacement of a Front Combination Headlamp assembly (headlight assembly) is necessary, for the applied vehicles, the locating bracket (if present) on the new replacement headlight assembly must first be removed before installation. Inspect the new replacement headlight assembly and confirm if a locating bracket is attached, with a Torx screw, on top in the center (see Figure 1). Is a locating bracket present? - NO: This bulletin does not apply. Continue with the installation of the new replacement headlight assembly. - YES 1. Using a T10 Torx screwdriver, remove the locating bracket attached to the topcenter of the replacement headlight assembly (see Figure 1). 2. Discard the locating bracket and Torx screw. 3. Continue the installation of the replacement headlight assembly. NOTE: Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for the procedure to remove or install a headlight assembly. CAUTION: Take care when installing the headlight assembly so that the painted surface of the fender is not damaged. - Black electrical tape can be used to protect the edge of the fender while installing the headlight assembly.

SummaryAEB WARNING LIGHT BLINKING This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with a lane camera. SERVICE INFORMATION If the AEB warning light is blinking (but not illuminated steadily) or the customer states it is blinking, and there are no related DTCs, inspect the windshield. A blinking AEB warning light may occur under the following conditions: - When contamination or foreign material adhere to the lane camera viewing window on the windshield - When driving while it is snowing or when frost forms on the lane camera viewing window on the windshield - When the lane camera viewing window on the windshield is temporarily fogged up NOTE: - If DTCs are present in any of the following related systems: - Laser/Radar, - ICC/ADAS, or - Lane Camera, Refer to the related Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for diagnosis. - Refer to the following pages for further information.

SummaryINTELLIGENT KEY DOES NOT WORK AFTER BATTERY REPLACEMENT SERVICE INFORMATION If the Intelligent Key of an APPLIED VEHICLE does not work after replacing the battery, inspect the positive (+) terminals. If the battery side of the Intelligent Key is held by pinching down on the terminals while removing the battery, it is possible to bend the terminals down far enough that they will not touch the contacts on the other half of the Intelligent Key. If the terminals are found to be bent down, pry them back up so that they will come in contact with the other half of the Intelligent Key?s contacts. - Refer to the photos on the following pages.

SummaryEXTERIOR CLEANING INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION When cleaning the exterior of an Infiniti vehicle, damage may occur when using a cleaner with too high of an alkaline concentration. - Always refer to the Appearance and care section of the related owner?s manual. - Not all cleaners are created equal. - Many cleaners come in concentrated form. - Alkaline cleaners (cleaners with a high pH value) can cause spots on paint and trim when not used as directed. - Some commercial car washes use cleaners with a high pH value. - When using cleaners that meet the conditions defined in the Appearance and care section, be sure to carefully follow the cleaner?s directions. - When finished cleaning/washing, rinse thoroughly with clean water. IMPORTANT: Damage to paint, glass, bright metal, or any other exterior surface caused by using improper cleaning products is not covered under warranty. Always refer to the Paint Incident Identification Manual (PIIM) and Assurance Products Reference Manual (APRM). Follow the guidelines in the PIIM and APRM for non-warrantable exterior body, glass, or painted surface quality issues.
