The contact stated that failure was constant while driving uphill. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer; however, the vehicle was not yet diagnosed or repaired. SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
This has been an ongoing issue since I bought the car in 2020. I have reported to the dealer, Honda, and this agency. My car Fantom breaks by its self. About a week ago my car lit up again with the break on the dash and only slightly hit the breaks this time compared to the time before where it slammed on the breaks. Yes there is no car in front of me when this happens. Motorworld honda closed out my cases and this is still an ongoing issue. Honda has been no help and the car is still breaking by itself. Please investigate this issue. Motorworld Honda blamed me for the issue and Bernie Honda says that this issue happens and the person I was talking to said this happened to her. This is not normal.

1. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The fuel delivery system and engine power management. The vehicle suffers from sudden "Limp Mode" activation and total loss of acceleration. The vehicle is available for inspection. 2. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? My safety was severely compromised when the vehicle suddenly lost power while traveling at highway speeds. This occurred twice in high-speed traffic, creating an immediate risk of a rear-end collision as the vehicle could no longer maintain the flow of traffic or accelerate away from danger. 3. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? No. The issue was reported to a dealer in 2024, but because the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) turned off after a restart, the dealer was unable to reproduce the failure or find stored error codes at that time. 4. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? Yes, it was inspected by an authorized Honda dealer in 2024, but no repairs or actions were taken as they could not replicate the fault. 5. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No. There were no prior symptoms or early warnings. In both incidents (2024 and yesterday), the engine light illuminated simultaneously with a sudden, localized loss of speed and a total inability to power up or accelerate while on the highway.

"fuel pump issues directly cause injector system failures". Today Honda assured me than the fuel pump recall could not interfere in the injector system, that's totally false Now I have to changed injector system and spark plugs to my own expense. On Monday 6th of April 2026 showrd engine light as well as stalling when driving On Monday 30th of March AC COMPRRSSOR SMOKED, ALSO NEED TO BE REPLACED

POWER TRAIN
While accelerating on an on ramp to an interstate highway, in normal drive mode, at approximately 45 mph, the drive train lost power for 4 to 6 seconds and the car slowed. The power meter dropped from approximately 35% to 15%. I depressed the accelerator pedal further but the car continued to slow. Eventually, the car accelerated normally.

2022 Honda CRV with 39,000 miles: When driving at high speeds (55+) when coming out of a turn/curve in the road, the steering wheel sticks/grabs for a split second, then releases, making steering seem unsafe. Issue seems more likely to happen in warmer temperatures 60 degrees and above. Also gets worse if car is driven for longer time. Since first noticing the issue in early April, now sometimes even going straight, the wheel will grab and steering has to be corrected. No warning lights have come on. The dealer said it is the steering rack.

Sticking steering, mainly at higher speeds. Dealer said it showed no codes. They said they could not make it do it, but it continued after inspection. I had another person drive and they noticed right off on the interstate that the steering was sticking and making vehicle shift across lane on its own. It does it all the time at any speed more noticeable higher speeds.

In the 5 months I have owned this vehicle, the windshield has been chipped at least six time by debris while driving. As I am retired, I do not do a lot of freeway travel and 700 of the 3400 miles were from a trip to visit my mom. I had fewer windshield chips on my previous Honda CRV in 8 years and 90000 miles than I have had with this 2026 CRV. My dealer ignored my request to even look at the issue, saying glass was not covered by their warranty and when I called Honda USA, they took the information and casually told me to 'have a blessed day'. My first big chip was repaired through my insurance in December 2025 and I will have 5 more chips looked at today by their preferred shop, Safelite. I have taken photos, as best I could, of the chips I discovered while washing the car in the bright sunlight. Having a clear field of vision is so critical to safe driving and the manufacturer should provide a durable windshield for passenger safety.

The contact owns a 2021 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving 60 MPH, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was driven to the shoulder of the road and turned off. The vehicle was restarted and driven to the residence. The vehicle was later taken to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer two times, but the failure was not duplicated. The failure reoccurred. In addition, several unknown warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed with fuel injector and a misfire on cylinder number 1. The contact was informed that the fuel injector failure, and the contact was informed that the fuel injector needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The failure reoccurred three weeks later. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was determined that a valve adjustment was needed in cylinder #2. The vehicle was being repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 42,000.

Pulled into driveway and put car in park. I had to close gate and lock it up and when returning to the car to turn off I was standing outside the car and it started rolling backwards. I tried to jump in the car to stop it and it was picking up speed. Driveway has a slight incline but nothing like the speed was on the car. I was in between the car door and the car seat running with the car. I am shocked I didn't get ran over. Car went across the street and hit my neighbors car and my car and well as his truck was damaged. This could have been worse and this is a huge safety feature.

The car runs hot and needs antifreeze. I add antifreeze. The next week it runs hot again. There is no antifreeze leaking on the ground. The Honda dealer stated the antifreeze is leaking into the engine and blown a head gasket. I am advised this is very common problem for a Honda CRV. It should be a recall. This is why I am filing a complaint. The Honda dealer wants $7000 to fix it. The car has 102,000 miles.

When driving on the highway at the speed of traffic, the check engine light appeared and was followed by a loss of engine power. Vehicle had to be pulled over to the shoulder. After shutting the vehicle off and turning it back on, engine power was restored. Vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Safety is a major concern if unable to move the vehicle out of traffic before coming to a stop with no power. The Honda dealer ran a diagnostic and did not find an issues. They were also unable to reproduce the problem. The vehicle has not been inspected by any other parties. -1st incident: August 15, 2025 -2nd incident: October 31, 2025 -inspected by dealer: November 13, 2025 -3rd and most recent incident: April 2, 2026

My 2018 CRV was taken to Dick Ide Honda for a recall on my fuel pump. The next day I was driving my car and it just stopped running and I drifted off to the side of the road. It would not start up but had power in the car. No warning signs or lights. I had it towed back to dealer that just worked on it and they stated that they did nothing wrong and and now they need to do a system check / diagnosis at $185.00 an hour to see what is wrong with it. My car worked fine before the dealer had it and now it doesn't work. And they are going to charge me for diagnosing it. I don't feel comfortable or trust that they have checked my car for whatever mistakes or faulty parts they may have used and my safety is in jeopardy

The contact's brother owned a 2024 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while her brother was driving at approximately 54 MPH as he turned the steering wheel to the left to follow the road, the steering wheel locked up and stayed turned to the left. The contact stated that her brother crashed into the highway barrier. The contact stated that her brother had a passenger in the back seat. The contact stated that the air bags deployed, the contact stated that her brother was concussed and was taken to the hospital by ambulance along with the passenger. The contact stated that the police were on scene and wrote a report, however he was not given the report number and was not sure if the police were state troopers. The vehicle was towed to an impound lot. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The contact had researched online that the vehicle had an open recall NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V744000 (Steering). The failure mileage was approximately 29,000.

Vehicle experienced misfires, triggering many different warning systems on the dash. It took several trips to the mechanics to diagnose, but the cause was eventually determined to be a broken head gasket and turbocharger. The issue began sometime between the 90 and 100k mark. Diagnostic codes were not of any assistance when trying to find the source issue. Vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Potential engine failure at any mileage is a serious issue that could have impacted one of several road trips if had the source of the issue had it not been found. Independent service center was thankfully able to determine issue after weeks of troubleshooting, though it was not inspected by insurance or other third parties. Report was submitted at recommendation of mechanic as supposedly several cars from this model year have had this issue.

My 2018 Honda CR-V (1.5L Turbo) has a confirmed fuel leak dripping directly onto the starter motor, creating an immediate fire hazard. A Honda dealer (Inv #XXX) diagnosed codes P219C and P219D, which are explicitly covered under Honda Service Bulletin 20-038 for a 150,000-mile warranty extension. Despite the vehicle having 131,528 miles, Honda Corporate is refusing to honor the warranty extension, claiming my VIN is not affected, while ignoring the documented failure and the dangerous safety risk.
