The panoramic sunroof glass on my 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid spontaneously shattered while the vehicle was parked and unoccupied in an indoor garage for approximately one week. There was no external impact, airborne object, or temperature extreme involved. The vehicle is stored in a covered underground parking structure. The glass shattered inward, with fragments falling onto the driver seat, passenger seat, center console, and floor. The sunroof frame shows no signs of external force or impact point. The vehicle had approximately 5,194 miles at the time of discovery. No warning lamps or prior symptoms appeared before the failure. The component is available for inspection. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by a dealer or manufacturer representative, though I intend to bring it to a Honda dealership. This issue poses a significant safety risk, as spontaneous shattering of glass over an occupied cabin could cause injury to passengers. I am aware of a class action lawsuit (Tappana v. American Honda Motor Co., Case No. 2:21-cv-09046) alleging Honda has known about this sunroof defect since 1995.

Car has been running fine and maintenance is up to date . Got up one day to leave for work and when I went to accelerate I started hearing a grinding clatter type noise ( only when accelerating at about 3k-5k rpm ) and once the car got up to needed speed it goes away . No engine light codes ( but having intermittent connection issues with obd port but never been damaged or anything) but it does it sometimes consistently and sometimes it will have a few moments under same acceleration condition or higher rpms but its never consistent. When these occur the car feels like power loss in the acceleration and a slight dragging in the drivability but again not always present. Been to exaust shop and they found nothing from.their initial inspection. Its hard to trigger the affects since it happens randomly/intermittently. Very unsave and there are no reasons or explanations to these events

- #11735409May 3, 2026POWER TRAIN, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
In November 2025 a new transmission was installed Curry Honda in Atlanta GA on my 2020 Honda CR-V. The new transmission came with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty. In March 2026 my vehicle broke down and was towed to Tameron Honda in Daphne Al where a speed sensor was replaced at my expense of 388.44. The adaptive cruise control was not working prior to this repair. Within two weeks the vehicle experienced further issues and had to be driven in a compromised condition back to Curry Honda in Atlanta where the transmission wire harness was diagnosed as corroded and replaced at a cost of 1696.99. My vehicle has been garage-kept its entire life except when in the care of a dealership. Corrosion on a recently replaced transmission in a garage-kept vehicle cannot be attributed to environmental exposure or owner neglect. It points directly to a defective part of improper installation at Curry Honda. These failures occurred within months of a new transmission installation with no prior history of issues. I believe this is a safety defect as the vehicle broke down unexpectedly and had to be driven in a compromised condition posing a safety risk.

- #11735413May 3, 2026SERVICE BRAKES, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
On May 2nd, 2026, while driving my 2026 Honda CRV EX, which I purchased less than 3 months ago, I got a warning on my dashboard saying "Brake System Problem: Brake Performance may be reduced. See your dealer." I tried push the break but it wouldn't budge, it was as if the brakes locked. I took my foot off the accelerator and steered myself to the shoulder and pulled on the emergency brake. I kept pulling the brake up until the car stopped. I then immediately moved the gear shift from "drive" to "park". Multiple alarms came on showing system problems. The following warning lights came up: Brake system problem, electric brake system problem, TPMS system problem, Transmission system problem, Auto Idle Stop System Problem, Electric power steering system problem, Brake Hold system problem, Vehicle stability assist system problem, Hill start assist problem, Hill descent control system problem, Adaptive cruise control system problem, Lane keeping assist system problem, collision mitigation brake system problem, Road departure mitigation system problem, blind spot information system problem, Auto high-bream problem. At the time that the warnings appeared, I was about half a mile away from a signalized intersection. The brake pedal was difficult to depress and unresponsive. I lost meaning braking ability while the vehicle was in motion. Had the traffic signal at the intersection been red at the moment of failure, I would not have been able to stop the vehicle in time and a collision with cross-traffic or a vehicle stopped at the light would have been likely. After stopping, I turned off the vehicle and then turned it back on. Again all the alarms appeared, I was unable to push down on the brake pedal and the gear shift was locked. The vehicle was then towed to a Honda dealer and is awaiting diagnosis.

Driving using cruise control on interstate. Car in front of me exited. My car began to slow even though there was nothing in front of me but a slight incline. I pressed on the accelerator and the car continued to slow. I turned off the A/C and cruise, but the car continued to slow and came to a complete stop on the interstate. There was a semi-truck behind me. Cars were passing me. I put the car in park and turned off the car. I started the car back up and drove away. I was completely stopped on an interstate with construction barriers on each side of the lanes, so there was no shoulder to pull off on. I was fearful of getting in an accident or causing one. I was very scared for my safety. There were no warning lamps or messages to assist in the moment. I took my car into the dealership and explained what happened. Dealership checked the cruise control and said "test drove vehicle and cruise control operation is normal." They reset cruise control follow distance from closest to farthest and could not duplicate the concern. I am no longer using the cruise control because I feel it is a safety issue that was not addressed.

While driving on the highway with my child in the vehicle, all dashboard warning lights suddenly turned on at once. Immediately after, the vehicle began to shake, lose power, and would not accelerate properly. The vehicle was jerking and pulling back and forth, creating a dangerous situation in traffic. I took the vehicle to a mechanic, and they diagnosed a failure of the high-pressure fuel pump and all four spark plugs. The repair cost was $1,436. This failure happened unexpectedly in a 2021 Honda CR-V, which raises serious safety concerns due to sudden loss of power while driving at highway speeds.

All warning lamps have been coming on for years. The dealerships have always said there is no problem. Now, outside of warranty, the problem is that all of the fuel injectors need to be replaced. Online notes that this is a widespread issue with this particular vehicle.

- #11735293May 2, 2026ENGINE, FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Failed Head Gasket in the engin affected fuel injectors and spark plugs to fail or not perform normally and started misfiring in the engin. My 24 year old son drives this car and the problem happened at night when he was driving home at night on 3/4/2026 flashing all waring signs on the screen. The car's speed was abruptly reduced to very low and he was not able to drive the car . I put the car to repair shop and replaced the fuel injecton kit and spark plugs and paid $1650 for that and the problem happed again with same kind of signs and drop the car to dealership for detailed diagnostic analysis and they came with the conclusion that the engin has a failed head gasket which causes the engin coolent to enter into cumbustion chamber and mix with the oil/gas affecting fuel injectors and spark plugs. Upon extensive search on internet and social media , it has been found that there are hundreds of victims who own the same year vehicle & model ( or same engine types ) and faced same issues and paid too much money to repair even though the Honda is aware of the issue and not taking care of it. Honda is playing with american people's life when they know the issue very well and haven't done anything yet to recall the vehicles to resolve this issue . This need to be investigated thoroughly to save life of innocent people.

On April 25, 2026, while the vehicle was stopped at a red light on [XXX] , the vehicle suddenly became inoperable and displayed multiple warning messages and warning lights. The warning messages included “Brake System Problem” and “Auto Idle Stop System Problem.” Additional ABS/VSA, battery/electrical, and system warning lights were also displayed. The vehicle was occupied at the time, including children, and this created a serious safety concern on a major roadway because the vehicle could not be driven or safely moved under its own power. Police responded to the scene, Honda Roadside Assistance was contacted, and the vehicle was towed to an authorized Honda dealer. The suspected affected systems include the brake system, electrical system, battery/charging system, ABS/VSA system, Auto Idle Stop system, and related control modules. The vehicle is currently available for inspection at an authorized Honda dealer. The issue has not yet been fully diagnosed or confirmed by the dealer. The dealer advised that the battery may need to be replaced before diagnosis can continue. However, the battery may have discharged because the vehicle remained in a fault state with warning lights/system alerts active after the original brake/electrical failure. Therefore, the dead battery may be a consequence of the original failure, not necessarily the root cause. There were no known prior warning signs before this incident. The warning messages and lamps appeared at the time of the failure. A full diagnosis is pending. I am concerned that this brake/electrical/system failure could happen again while driving or stopped in traffic and create a safety risk. I am reporting a potential safety recall violation by Honda Mall of Georgia (3699 Buford Dr, Buford, GA 30519). My vehicle experienced engine noise, vibration, and warning indicators, which the dealership attributed to 'fuel contamination' to deny warranty coverage (attached), and charged approximately $3,392.99 for repairs. However, I have a certified laboratory analysis (attached) from the Georgia Department of Agriculture confirming the fuel met all state quality standards and had no contamination at Costco Gas. Costco also provided supporting document (attached) that there was no contamination and there were no other customers reporting such issue. The vehicle required a second repair (attached) for the engine issue immediately after the first, further proving the failure was not 'bad fuel' related. Despite my state-certified proof, the dealer refuses to provide any documentation for their claim of 'bad fuel.' I believe the dealership has intentionally misdiagnosed a known defect covered under Federal Safety Recall 24V-763 / QK8 (cracked high-pressure fuel pump) to avoid performing a free recall repair.

- #11735030May 1, 2026FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS, LANE DEPARTURE: WARNING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
I am filing a safety complaint regarding my 2026 Honda CR-V. The front-mounted sensor used for advanced driver-assistance systems (including lane keeping assist and automatic emergency braking) is positioned in a way that makes it easily accessible and vulnerable to theft. My vehicle’s sensor was stolen, which immediately disabled critical safety features such as collision mitigation braking and lane assistance. While the vehicle may still be drivable, the loss of these systems significantly reduces safety and increases the risk of an accident. This does not appear to be an isolated incident. Many other Honda CR-V owners across the country are reporting similar thefts of the same sensor. The issue has become so common that third-party manufacturers are now producing protective covers to prevent theft, indicating a widespread and known vulnerability. As a result of this incident: •My vehicle has been inoperable or unsafe to drive with full safety functionality. •The car has been in a repair shop for over a month due to the sensor being on backorder. •I am continuing to make payments on a vehicle that I cannot safely use as intended. I believe this represents a design defect that creates an unreasonable safety risk. A critical safety component should not be so easily removed by theft, especially when its absence disables key driver-assistance systems. I respectfully request that NHTSA investigate this issue and determine whether a recall or mandated design change is necessary to protect consumers. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Summary: I am reporting a "sticky steering" mechanical defect in my 2019 Honda CR-V that matches the failure mode described in NHTSA Recall 24V-744. Issue Details: While driving at highway speeds, the steering wheel frequently becomes "stuck" or "notchy" feeling causing frequent adjustments at high speeds. I must apply sudden, extra force to break the wheel loose to keep car from crossing lanes, leading to unpredictable overcorrection and a high risk of a crash. I never use LKAS, so this is not what I am feeling in the steering. It is an annoyance that causes driver fatigue and anxiety. Prior Action: I visited two Honda dealers who told me they can only follow Honda recommendation. I contacted Honda Customer Service to request a repair under the current steering gearbox safety investigation, but my request was denied. Honda Case Number: 16300136. Case Status: Honda closed this case on 4/30/26 without providing a remedy, citing that my VIN is not currently part of the 2023–2025 recall population. However, the mechanical failure I am experiencing is identical to the one identified in newer models.

The fuel injection system failed, specifically causing a cylinder 1 misfire (DTC P0301). The component is currently installed in the vehicle and available for inspection. The vehicle experienced a sudden loss of power and violent shaking while driving in traffic, creating a high risk of a rear-end collision or being stranded in a dangerous intersection. Multiple safety systems (VSA, Braking Assist, Power Steering) were disabled simultaneously. The problem was officially confirmed and diagnosed by Saccucci Honda [XXX] ) on Invoice #XXX. The vehicle has been inspected by the dealer (Saccucci Honda), who confirmed the failure is internal to the fuel injectors. There were NO warning symptoms prior to the failure. All warning lamps and messages appeared suddenly on 04/20/2026 exactly 3 days after the official Honda Fuel Pump Safety Recall was performed at a different dealership of Honda . Description of event: I was driving approximately 35 mph when the check engine light began flashing, the engine began shuddering, and acceleration began decreasing. I was able to safely pull over and turn off the vehicle. After approx. 10 minutes, I turned on the car and plugged in a code reader but no codes were available to view. I restarted the car and it functioned normally and the check engine light has not returned. Safety: If there had been more traffic, if I had been on a highway, or some other circumstance, it could have been difficult to safely pull over with a loss of power. The car has not been inspected by a third party but there are numerous anecdotal accounts of this same issue on Reddit and Honda forums.
