All warning lights in car came on. Subsequently had diagnostic testing done. Code P0172 System too Rich. Dealer says fuel injector's need replacement. My understanding is this is an issue on other Honda cars manufactured during the same time period as mine and a recall notice was issued for those models.

My vehicle stalled out while driving on the highway, with all electrical components going haywire and the vehicle stopped accelerating or maintaining speed. After being towed 61 miles, my mechanic says that it is not making a loud noise when he tries to test-drive it, had no power, and returned MANY error codes, including one for the turbo. Mechanic believes that the turbo failed and triccered all electrical systems to go haywire. Honda dealership service tech confirms (without commitment, as they did not personally examine it) that the mechanics explanation makes sense and my experience describes what would happen if the turbo failed. In addition to putting me in an unsafe situation on the highway, this malfunction may end up costing me thousands between parts, labor, and towing costs. Research on the problem tells me this has happened to many other 2017-2017 CRV owners and Honday has simply failed to address the issue. UNACCEPTABLE.

The following incidents with my vehicle 2023 ST CRV Hybrid purchased in July 2023 are as follows: 1. Emission system failure with no resolution after a month at the dealership. 2. Powertrain: unresponsive due to loose wiring. 3. Immobilizer system: it was engaged after receiving emission system failure.

The steering sticks and causes an increase in effort to make small steering adjustments. When it does release I have to correct for over-steering.

During highway driving and city driving, my 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid steering system requires momentary extra force to overcome a sticky steering problem. This happens when turning both left and right. It is available for inspection if needed. Before overcoming the sticky steering, the car tracks in the direction where the steering is “stuck”, which can lead to undesired direction of travel for the car. This puts the driver and surrounding vehicles at risk. I brought the car to my local Honda branded dealer, who of course could not replicate the situation and mentioned this is normal operation and agreed that it can be somewhat annoying. They mentioned the civic problem but declined to have a service supervisor ride with me when offered to explain further. There are no warning lights associated with this problem.

Hybrid CR_V when at a stop, the vehicle has started acerating on its own when I remove foot from brake. Iin the 4 months, it has started moving slowly on its own when brake released, and I haven't touched gas pedal yet 2 time it started acerating faster and faster until brake was applied. took it to dealer, they cannot duplicate and weren't very helpful in trying it figure it yet. Vehicle has brake hold feature and shouldn't move forward till gas is applied.

Sudden unexpected acceleration. Multiple occurences during same outing, almost caused me to have an accident . had to HARD break while engine continued to surge. Had vehicle towed to Honda Dealer. They said No Code set and couldn't duplicate condition. They kept vehicle 2 weeks and drove multiple times but couldn't duplicate problem. Since no code set, nothing fixed. Do not believe any diagnosis on components were done. My opinion.

Horn installed in vehicle sounds like a Clown’s horn. When we have needed the horn to prevent an accident the other drivers are unable to hear this horn. Honda needs to add a second horn to all the vehicles so that it is louder and has a tone that is more likely to alert other drivers of a problem. A Honda dealer has developed an upgrade kit to allow for the installation of a second horn. I have attached a copy of receipt for the purchase of this part.

Unknown. At highway speeds, steering control jerks to the right and left as if I have lane assist on and it’s taking control. I do not have lane assist enabled when this occurs. It’s like the steering column has a catch. This is dangerous. The steering is taking over against where I’m steering.

The side mirror developed a crack without any apparent impact damage. My vehicle was securely parked inside the garage, and I discovered the cracked mirror when I woke up in the morning. It appears to be a broader problem, as evidenced by a Reddit forum where individuals who have bought the 2024 Honda CRV are sharing similar experiences. The contact owns a 2018 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. While driving at various speeds and attempting to accelerate, the vehicle hesitated. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The dealer informed the contact that parts were not yet available. The contact called another local dealer, First Texas Honda (3400 Steck Ave., Austin, TX 78757) and was informed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The manufacturer suggested that a diagnostic test be performed. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000. Parts distribution disconnect.

I own a 2017 Honda CRV EX AWD. While driving downhill on a mountain road on Dec. 9, 2023, all of my dashboard warning lights and alarms began flashing and sounding off. Some of the warnings cycled through one after another while others were simultaneous. I continued to drive looking for a safe place to pull over. Going downhill I was able to maintain some speed, but when the road leveled off I found I was unable to accelerate to more than 5-10 miles per hour despite the engine continuing to rev. After pulling over, I stopped the engine for 10 minutes. Upon restarting, the dashboard warnings repeated the same process. At first opportunity, I took the car to a Honda dealership where code DTC P0304 was diagnosed and I was advised that the problem was failure of my fuel injectors. Repairs were made at a cost of more than $2000. Fortunately, this failure did not happen to me on a crowded freeway going at higher speeds as it could have easily created a situation where property damage, injuries, or fatalities could have occurred.

While driving , the steering wheel feels like it is sticking and jerking. It is not a smooth motion as it was when first received the vehicle. Because of this sticky steering it sometimes causes driver to over compensate making it a potentially hazardous situation. Have contacted dealer who said it is not a reported problem for this VIN however it is real and I am taking it in for further evaluation.

The steering wheel has a slight stickiness when making slight turns after being driven for several miles. This occurs during normal driving and is more noticeable at speed. The stick can be overcome fairly easily but when it breaks loose it causes the vehicle to dart in the direction of the turn if not compensated for. The condition is not a big problem on a dry road. On 01/23/2024 I was driving in a moderate rain making a sweeping turn at 45mph. The steering had the stick and when I overcame it to correct the car actually started to hydroplane. I compensated for the hydroplane however I feel this is a potentially dangerous situation that could cause an accident and possible injury. I first noticed the sticking of the steering in approximately July of 2023. I called the dealer where I bought the car and reported the problem. The service manager told me they had not had any reports of the problem and they would check it out when I came in for service. I have not taken the car into the dealer yet. The mileage when I first noticed the problem was approximately 8000 miles (July 2023). The car now has 16500 miles (January 2024) There are no warning lights or messages on the dash to indicate a problem.

I received the initial msg sending from the rental platform Turo on 12/18/2023 stating that my car has to be unlisted due to FUEL PUMP NOT TO RESALE, since then I have been contacting my local HONDA dealerships all over and see what repairs I need to get it fixed. It has been more than a month, no any advisors contacted me yet, nor any dealerships has the part yet. Everytime I call, they said it is safe to drive, but when I ask for the paperwork/ clarification letter that Turo required in order to relist my car, no one was able to help. This inconvenience has been a huge financial lost as a Turo host. I don't get any update, not even an official letter for more than a month. As far as I received the initial Turo msg, I had been driving normally, nothing weird happened. So my questions are : 1. How long would take Honda to get the part ordered? 2. If it is safe to drive, who shall have the access to get me a letter to satisfy Turo? 3. If it is not safe to drive, should Honda replace a temporary car for me to drive without any charge? Thank you

The steering on the car is not right. It goes from being stiff at times to feeling like it is moving/slipping/drifting on its own. It requires more effort to keep it in a lane on a flat, straight roadway than it should. My husband called it twitchy, I would just call it jerky, sticky, stiff but it scares me because it seems to have a mind of its own. Only has 9700 miles on it. We looked it up and found that you have an investigation on this. It needs to become a recall. I have an appointment at Roush Honda in Westerville OH on Feb. 3 to have it looked at but we are hearing that they are very backed up on parts. My husband has been awaiting a new windshield for his Honda for a month. The steering seemed less than smooth from the very beginning but seems to be getting worse. No warning lights going on. Others on a Honda CRV Facebook group discussion talking about this problem say they have never gotten any kind of warning light either. We have of course turned off the Lane Keep Assist setting so that is not it. Just wanted to report the problem since you are investigating. Worried they won't have parts to fix it when I go in and I'll be waiting months, putting my safety at risk. They shouldn't be selling cars with a problem like this they can't get parts for. I don't feel safe in this car right now and if there is a delay on parts they should be made to give us loaner cars. Thank you.

The steering on this vehicle will stick at times when driving on the highway. When steering to the left or right off of center, there is a noticeable resistance before the steering wheel will turn. There are no warning lamps or other messages that appear on the instrument cluster. I have called the dealer and there is no recall at this time. I also called Honda customer service and they said that any repairs would be an out of pocket expense because my vehicle is past the warranty mileage limit. There has been a similar problem with the steering on Honda Civics and a technical service bulletin has been issued. The problem I am experiencing with the CRV seems to be the same.
