The steering wheel sticks & resists movement when traveling at highway speeds. It is resistant to minor steering corrections away from or toward center. This results in a jerky ride and movement when keeping within my lane.

Drivers side door trim peeling off. Clearly a problem, as I own a 2024 Honda Accord in addition to my 2024 Honda Civic. Both are having the same issue of the drivers side door trim/weather stripping peeling from the door.

I was stranded on the road after filling up gas my car would not start due to the fuel pump recall I tried calling different Honda dealerships for the recall and they all said they didn’t have it due to back order. Is there something that can be done so my car doesn’t have anymore damage then it does now?

- #11604278July 24, 2024FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING, FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: WARNINGS
I was driving on an interstate highway in upstate NY, just past dusk, when my 2024 Honda Civic attempted to come to a rapid stop without my input. My car decelerated violently, dropped about 20 mph in speed, then immediately accelerated back to the speed set on my cruise control. I did have the Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist engaged when this happened. Interestingly, there was not another car around me nor coming my way in the opposite lanes and the weather was 72 degrees and overcast. This event scared the hell out of me and I was lucky that no other vehicle was close behind in my lane at the time!

BCM module in the 2017 Civics seem to have constant Parasitic Battery Drain issues that are not being addressed by Honda. My battery died and was replaced, drain continue on a daily basis. Was able to trace to BCM module. checked online to find numerous other people having the same exact issue.

While driving to keep the car center the steering becomes sticky or notchy as if needing slightly extra force to microcorrect left or right to stay center. It results in slight overcorrection and some slight swaying, but feels as if control of the car is compromised, specifically at freeway speeds.

my 2019 Honda Civic Sport has 2 different recalls and this car has not been fixed or checked by a mechanic at this time, I was sent back home from my appointment at Honda Loma Linda dealership with a promised phone call to resolve the situation, which as today is: 1- car stall's unexpectedly while driving, when this happens it looses power. 2- AC was not working properly since the car was bought in 2022, I set my appointment at Honda dealership but service was denied due to some other vehicles priority, my phone calls were never returned and as today I've been spending out of my pocket trying to fix the issue on my own despite I had it reported to the dealership quite while ago.

- #11603632July 21, 2024STEERING, WHEELS, STRUCTURE:BODY
As I attempted to turn my steering wheel to exit interstate I-90 East, the steering wheel became increasingly hard to control and I heard a popping noise in my front driver side tire. My vehicle slid into the curb, resulting in the front driver side fender damage, tire damage, axel damage, and 3 deployed airbags. The vehicle’s electric power steering failed and it is available for inspection. Both mine and my mom’s safety were at risk, however no injuries occurred. I have not received a recall notice at all and the vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representatives. There were no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the power steering issue before this occurred.

The steering rack is failing, which is confirmed by the Brandon Honda Service Department. The steering wheel sticks when in a left turn and the driver must push it back into a straight position to straighten out the car while driving. We are worried that it will not push back one day and cause problems while driving, which has prevented us from driving the car for longer distances. This problem started in April 2024. We know there is a recall for this part in Honda's, but my car does not fall under the recall because of the V.I.N. number. THIS PART IS ON BACK ORDER FOR MONTHS!

The contact owns a 2015 Honda Civic. The contact stated while driving 20 MPH, the vehicle shuddered, and the engine revved abnormally. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. After further investigation, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V574000 (Power Train) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 156,325.

My car started sounding its alarm at 2:30am on its own. After shutting the alarm off and letting it run, I turned it off and entered my house. It repeated five minutes later. I went to drive the car later that day and the battery was inoperable and the acid has neutralized or evaporated. I replaced the battery and the issues continued. Dealer said is was a fuse box issues. Due to cost, I brought the car home. Consulted another mechanic and it is an issue with the Body Control Module. It takes multiple tries to start the car, the fob doesn't lock the car, and it will go into accessory mode by itself.
