This problem is more noticeable when you are in a highway, going at highway speeds. The vehicle pulls to the sides on the lane, like it is trying to correct you as if you were moving out of the lane. Sometimes when it moves to the right, and you correct it, then it moves to the left. We purchased this vehicle on [XXX] with 26 miles on it. By the time the vehicle had 90 miles on it, we knew it had to go to the dealer because what we were feeling was not normal. We took the vehicle to the dealer, and drove it with a technician who noticed the problem immediately. The vehicle stayed at the dealer overnight, and the following day the dealer contacted us to pick up the vehicle. They told us that they had checked the vehicle, and sent information to Honda that they asked for. Honda said all the parameters in the car were correct, and there was nothing to fix. We drove the vehicle with the technician again, and he told us that he had driven another new car from their inventory, and felt the same problem, not as bad but he felt it. We drove the car with him a second time us driving, and again he noticed it and pointed out when it was doing it, because he could feel it as a passenger. The technician told Honda that even though the vehicle met all the parameters, there was something wrong because he could feel it. We called Honda Directly and started a case on this matter. ( Case # [XXX]) The following week a Technician from Honda came to town, and the Dealer called us to take the car in so he could check it himself. They would not tell us what he found out, but they said that he was going to check with a facility they have in California to see if they had any information on this matter. Even though they did not confirm anything he obviously noticed the problem, if he had not what would be the point of looking further. A week later they asked for the car again, the problem is getting worse the car is unsafe to drive, and we are waiting on Honda. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION

The steering wheel sticks in either direction when driving. It makes it difficult to drive straight on the turnpike especially on the tighter sections of the road. Making small corrections becomes difficult when the steering wheel sticks and I end up snapping back and forth on the lanes. I have brought the issue up to the dealer twice a year apart and they won't confirm the issue because the computer didn't flag anything. Previously about a year ago I told the dealer about the steering issue but they didn't know what was wrong and then a few months later the recall for the steering was issued. I assume its the same issue but the Honda accord model is missing from the recall list.

I saw that they are investigating Honda Pilots for an automatic braking issue. I wanted to report that on my car I’ve had the automatic brake warning come on at least 3 times while driving at highway speed with nothing in front of me. This is over a period of 3 years (my car has 40k). The brakes didnt engage, but it alerts you like it will engage for a couple seconds then the alert goes away. It could be related to the Pilot issue. If the brakes did engage I would likely get rear ended on the highway. So far it hasnt happened but it is scary when it does. And totally random as each time no car within 2000ft

Honda continues to repair recalls. They have repeatedly told me I can schedule the recall repair and their broken app says I can schedule my airbag recall repair. But, the Honda dealers in San Diego say Honda refuses to send them parts and there is a 4-5 year delay for repairs. And that they have this issue with Honda for numerous other open years old recalls, no parts. The HondaLink app and the software it communicates with is also malfunctioning and the Honda and the dealers refuse to make repairs. Honda has already had 20 customers die from their Takata recall; why are they allowed to keep dragging their feet on recalls while spending billions to purchase Nissan?

Honda continues to refuse to make recall repairs. Currently telling me that there is a 4-5 wait for repairs because Honda refuses to supply them. Dealers are telling me that Honda will only send them 10 per week and won't send more until the defective ones are returned to Honda. According to my dealer there are 2,000 other customers in line before me for my repairs. Honda also has a defective HondaLink app that work with car to communicate needed repairs and service. Honda says my car needs a software update, dealer says there is no update, no TSB, and no recall. Why is Honda allowed to drag their feet for years with recalls? 20 dead from the Takata recall alone. Shameful lack of oversite!

The GPS goes unresponsive as part of the symptoms of the infotainment system acting by itself. This poses a distraction and driving risk while trying to not miss the destination. Also radio Touchscreen becomes unresponsive while radio changes from stations to bluetooth back to stations on its own.

Honda, US operations based in CA, continues to refuse to fix their recalled cars. I was notified 18 months ago about an airbag recall for my 2021 Honda Accord. Honda is telling customers that "parts will be ready to fix all affected cars next month", but they are telling their dealers that "it may take 4-5 years to provide them these parts". One of their San Diego dealers told me today that they are just starting to repair a fuel pump recall first discovered 2 years ago. Why is Honda allowed to refuse to make timely repairs to their customers vehicles? Their customers continue to be killed due to their Takata airbag recall from years ago because they continue to drag their feet with repairs. Why is Honda allowed to drag their feet with recalls?

I went to put windshield washer fluid into my car. When I opened the hood, I saw that the under hood insulation was gone (Burt away). We just had a snow storm and it happen to be heavy wet snow. I always turn on the car from my house (auto start). The heavy snow forced the hood to touch the engine and because it did not have a cover, destoyed the insulation. I went to Honda and showed the service manager the picture. He said I would have to pay to replace the under hood insulation, that does not seem right.

ISSUE TYPE: Safety Concern “Brakes Auto Engage When Driving At ANY Speed and Parking Brake Lever Is Raised” DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM: I inadvertently lifted up on the Parking Brake switch in center console while driving about 30mph, trying to turn off a different switch on the console. This caused the vehicle to slam-on the brakes, narrowly avoiding a rear-end collision. It is labeled as a Parking Brake but is also an Emergency Brake (I discovered) that can be triggered by anyone who has their hand around the center console and accidentally raises this switch. This poses a serious safety risk to passengers and causing rear-end collisions! STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1Drive the vehicle at any speed (cruise, increasing/decreasing) 2Lift up the Parking Brake lever only momentarily and release 3The vehicle immediately slams-on full rear-brakes then releases 4Hold the switch UP for longer period - experience a full-on emergency stop. Poor excuse for Honda's Parking Brake system. Emergency Brake should be located elsewhere on the dash away from console. DEALER SERVICE: Told me this is normal, as lifting the Parking Brake "up" will engage the rear wheel calipers full-on REGARDLESS of speed! This is not normal Parking Brake action and very dangerous. The manual does not point out this is a FULL-ON braking. They say it "will assist in braking". This is just wrong & needs a software correction now. The Parking Brake should never be able to engage when the wheels are turning at ANY speed. We don't need a 2 wheel Emergency Brake for a super-obscure, super-rare brake failure (if ever). CORRECTIVE ACTION: Simple software modification needed... if the Parking Brake lever is lifted (accidentally) AND the wheels are turning it should INHIBIT the brakes from being slammed-on. An Emergency Brake should be in a separate place on the dash. Honda should fix this very dangerous condition to make it a Parking Brake ONLY. It should only engage when stopped (like in a parking spot).
