On 11/26/24 my wife was running errands in her vehicle when the power shut off and killed the car. She was in the left lane of a busy state highway. She was able to coast off the road slightly before the vehicle came to a complete stop. The dashboard said to press brake and start button, but the car would not start. The vehicle was also stuck in drive and would not switch to park, neutral, or any other gears. Police came and had to push her vehicle with theirs into a nearby park lot so a tow truck could pick it up. It is currently at a GM dealership waiting to be looked at.

I was driving and making a left turn at a traffic light when all of a sudden, every light lit up on my dashboard. Then the dashboard turned completely black along with the radio screen. When the dashboard went black, I tried to stop by hitting the brakes to pull over. The brake pedal went all the way to the floor, and I had zero brakes. I was able to coast to a dirt shoulder where the vehicle stopped due to friction and gravity. The brakes never worked to aid in stopping the motion of my vehicle. I had my vehicle towed immediately to the dealership where I bought it.

We purchased a 2023 GMC Acadia AT4 new in October 2023. There is currently a little over 19,000 miles on the AT4. As of today November 13, 2024 the SUV has been to Blaise Alexanders, for at 3 times with same issues. Between the speeds of 50-65 there is a shudder, which in August 2024, the Chevy garage changed the fluid However, You can now feel this at any speed through out a trip. The SUV was return to the shop for increasingly worse shudder between 50-65 and a new issue of "hunting" between 25-35. There are times that the SUV does not want to propel forward (like the AT4 cannot get out of its own way) Also, when making a sharp right turn followed by an immediate left turn, onto uneven surface, the AT4 acts as though it is confused as to what gear it should be. The garage was then notified that I know have whining sound. At one point the garage had the AT4 for a week, the general manage drove it, did not feel anything. I then returned, took him for drive and he felt it. Left the car for him to take one of the "transmission" repair individuals out on a drive with the scan tool hooked up. Results of that test drive---"the car did it once, slightly but it was not picked up on the scan tool." Troy, from the service desk informed us they called GM to have their traveling engineer come look at the AT4 in a few day. GM's representative stop at the garage, DID NOT look at the car or speak to us, but has Troy tell us to keep driving the car. We are now in November and unfortunately, I got a little behind on bugging them due to the loss of my brother, father and step -father. But then again they have made no attempt at resolving this issue. This is frustrating. We are asking for any assistance that you can provide. I find it hard to believe that we are the only individuals that are experiencing these issues. I love my car. Why did they change the fluid if nothing was wrong the first time?? It has progressively been getting worse and winter is coming......

Vehicle stalled out and instrument panel showed no gas when the tank was over half full. I had trouble re-starting but was able to only drive a mile before stalling again. Both times occurred at a stoplight I had it towed to local dealer . They replaced the fuel pump power control module. The service personnel said that they see a large number of these and that some people had accidents due to this. I was about to enter a very busy highway at rush hour and if this happened on the highway, it would be very dangerous. I saw that there were previous recalls on GMC/Chevy vehicles similar to mine from 2021 that had recalls for this same reason but the Acadia has not been included. From what I have seen, a recall should be considered.

my car (2022 GMC Acadia Denali) died on a busy road (XXX) due to this issue yesterday, the engine just stops at 75 miles per hours, I'm barely made safe to the border of the highway. Fuel management system and Engine electrical system were the errors. The FMCE module need to be replaced as the dealer technician stated. I purchased my 2023 Arcadia FFWD SLT a few months ago used with 11,000 miles. During the past few months I have noticed when reaching a speed of 45-60 mph the vehicle vibrates. I took the vehicle to the dealership on 10-10-24 and they said they could not find anything but they did not do an intensive problem search. I am concerned the problem may be related to a transmission recall dated 6/23. I did a search but no recalls came up my VIN but the vehicle has a major vibration when going 45-60 mph.

- #11617622October 1, 2024BACK OVER PREVENTION: AUTOMATIC SYSTEM BRAKING
The automatic braking system activates when there is no danger of collision or impact. During heavy rain, backing out of a parking space, with no hazard activating the emergency braking system near your vehicle, the emergency braking system will activate every 2-3 feet driven- sometimes occurring 6-8 times when trying to back out of space. This is a safety hazard because you’re left sitting in a roadway with no control over vehicle. Your chances of being hit by oncoming traffic, because your vehicle stops itself over and over, is high. Not only is the automatic braking jarring, you have to sit in oncoming traffic while the emergency parking brake releases. The emergency braking system will also activate without cause when backing down a hill, even on a sunny and clear day. This poses a danger when trying to parallel park, on a hill, in busy traffic. Have not reported to service center or manufacturer. Seems to be a system sensitivity issue that is a non serviceable issue. Problem occurred when vehicle under 1,000 miles and continues at 5,000 miles.

- #11616573September 26, 2024AIR BAGS
Safety Restraint System Service light alert comes on at start up. I purchased this vehicle july 20th and returned vehicle to dealer for service on sept.5. I was informed the steering wheel air bag and coil are faulty. The repair parts are on back order and would take at least 5-6 months to get. I contacted GM customer service and was told the air bag system should still function according to GM. I have had this vehicle @ 2months, I don't feel comfortable letting my wife drive this vehicle or transporting my grandkids in it.

The contact owns a 2021 GMC Acadia. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, the vehicle suddenly decelerated to 35 MPH. The vehicle stalled, and the "Steering Assistance Reduced" message was displayed. The vehicle was restarted. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer the following day, where it was diagnosed that the accelerator pedal and terminal connector were bent. The dealer retrieved DTC codes: P2138, and P2122. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 27,792.

Today is Aug. 24, 2024. On [XXX], as my wife and I were preparing to leave on a vacation trip, our leased 2023 GMC Acadia would not move out of Low Gears moving forward. I soon discovered that it also would not shift into Reverse. When I took the vehicle to the GMC dealership near my home in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the service advisor told me that the Check Engine light was on. The dealer has had the car since the date of this occurrence, on [XXX], giving me a smaller car as a loaner. My service advisor told me that he was able to get the car into Reverse. When I have called, he tells me they are trying to identify the problem. I see on the Internet that this model of vehicle has had multiple "transmission issues" and that there has been a Recall due to the transmission. I have not been alerted to a Recall. Yesterday, on Aug. 23, I received an Onstar Diagnostics Report saying there is a "diagnostics alert" requiring "immediate attention." I leased this vehicle in October 2023 from Todd Wenzel Buick GMC, where the vehicle now is located in the Service Department. - #11609843August 20, 2024EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Left rear tail lamp failed after only 90 miles. It is available for inspection upon request. This tail lamp also contains the left turn signal, so when turning left, the signal flashes faster. The dealership has been notified of the issue and has inspected the issue in question. There were no warning lamps indicating the lamp was not functioning until I turned my left turn signal on. Now, there is a check left tail lamp indicator every time I use my left turn signal. I have been waiting on the replacement part for approximately 6 weeks with no ETA on a resolution, all while GM thinks its ok and safe that I drive my car without a left rear turn signal and brake lamp.
