Due to waiting for a recall fix for ( NHTSA #-25V455 ) My F150 Raptor has been having all listed failing issues, Miss fire at idle or when fuel is hot, issue starting on a handful of times. I have been driving it after 4 -5k miles of this and I was alerted today after replacing ( All Injectors, Coils, Spark Plugs, ETC ) That I may need a new engine. This could have caused a crash and is now costing me an entire engine due to no fix or parts availability. Thousands of Dollars for a new engine out of my pocket due to fuel starvation. Cylinder 4 Miss fire's at idle. They appeared once I returned home from the mountains back to texas with hot weather.

I was stopped waiting in line at a security gate. I was approximately 10 feet from the vehicle in front of me. A police officer started to walk between the vehicles. My foot was lightly on the brakes when suddenly the truck started surging forward. I immediately jammed as hard as I could on the brakes but my truck continued to move forward. I was forced to slam the shifter into park. There was a loud grinding noise and it startled the police officer and she jumped out of the way. , my truck stopped just before hitting the vehicle in front of me. My truck has the 10R80 transmission and it has now completely failed at 16000 miles. The vehicle completely locked up but fortunately I was moving under 10 mph because it would have been catastrophic had I been going faster. It became immediately undrivable. The dealership has tried to fix it but as of today after two weeks in their shop, can’t even get it out of park.

The design of this and similar model vehicle headlights are excruciatingly painful when on during night and day to oncoming drivers and to those drivers where the vehicle approaches from behind. It is unbelievable that our own government agency, NHTSA, that is set up to protect the public allows such blatant harmful headlight designs on vehicles. You may thank you are accustomed to the high intensity LED lighting, but I bet every time one of these LED lite vehicles approaches, you squint, look away, are partially blinded, and distracted without knowing it. Maybe now you will. Stacking these damn lights totally disregarding the health and safety of the public!!

DRL partially out on the truck seems to be an ongoing problem with these models that cause a safety issue similar to the flicker. My lights went into a hyper flash and when they stopped the DRL went partially out.

Please see attachment: To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally request NHTSA’s review and further action regarding Ford Motor Company’s handling of Safety Recall 23V‑896 and 23S-65, affecting my 2021 Ford F‑150 (F1 3509). I appreciate NHTSA’s oversight of this recall; however, based on my direct experience and the technical information available, I believe the current remedy strategy leaves owners exposed to ongoing safety risks. My vehicle experienced fractured rear axle hub bolts, a failure mode that Ford’s defect report attributes to micro‑movement and backlash between the axle shaft splines and the wheel‑end hub splines. This movement leads to loss of clamp load, fretting wear, and ultimately bolt fatigue and fracture. The fractured bolts on my truck confirm that this failure chain had already progressed to an advanced stage. Ford performed what they describe as an interim repair, which consisted of replacing the fractured bolts and inspecting the hub and axle components. However, Ford has acknowledged that the final remedy is not yet available, and that the interim repair does not address the underlying design issue that allows spline movement and progressive wear. As a result, the same conditions that caused the initial failure may reoccur. From a mechanical and safety standpoint, replacing bolts without correcting the root cause — the loss of clamp load and resulting spline backlash — does not eliminate the defect. It merely resets the system temporarily. Ford’s own documentation confirms that the interim repair uses the same bolt design, with the same torque and elongation characteristics, and therefore the same long‑term vulnerability.

WE ACCELERATING IN THIS VEHICLE AND YOU LET YOUR FOOT OFF THE GAS PEDAL, IT CONTINUES TO ACCELERATE FOR AT LEAST 1-2 SECONDS CREATING A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION, IF THE VEHICLE DOES NOT DE-ACCELERATE IMMEDIATELY ONCE YOU TAKE YOUR FOOT OFF THE GAS PEDAL, IT IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN…VERY, VERY DANGEROUS.

My Rear axle bolt broke in early October. It has now been over 3 months and I have zero update on when my recall will be addressed. I have a rental, but this is beyond the fair and reasonable time frame to repair a recall. The Service center can provide zero update or status of when this will be resolve. I'm making 4 payment on a vehicle that I don't have. What other recourses do we have. Can manufacturers just take months on end to repair when customer are without their personal or work vehicles?

This truck has had numerous messages on the dashboard stating Reverse Brake Assist Not Available See Manual. Have taken to the Dealership and was told that there was no code and the couldn’t fix as the message wasn’t displayed. They said when it came on to bring it in. Long story short when message is displayed by the time you arrive it is gone. I have done the simple things like make sure sensors are clean, doors and hood is closed and the soft clear by unhooking the battery cable for 15 minutes. This whole mess started after a dash recall in the fall of 2025.What good is this for a safety feature to prevent reverse incidents if not working properly.

I reached out to the Ford Motor Company’s recall department at corporate headquarters on 1/7/2026, regarding the safety recall for my 2024 Ford F-150. My truck has been at my local dealership since November waiting for the necessary repairs. The hold-up is due to the replacement part being on back order, and I’ve been informed by a Ford representative that it won’t be available for dealerships until the third or fourth quarter of 2026. This situation is extremely concerning for me, especially since I rely on my truck to tow a travel trailer. I would like to know how we can expedite this safety recall. Can you help me with my issue with Ford? I have not found another avenue to express my safety concerns for my truck. This vehicles headlights are too bright and too high up on the vehicle. I am blinded anytime one is in oncoming traffic or behind me. It is a hazard while they are around because I can not see in my mirrors and have lingering spots in my eye sight long after I am away from these vehicles.

When temperatures are below freezing, the passenger side door remains locked, and cannot be unlocked with the key fob or the unlock buttons on either the driver side or passenger side door. The manual door lock cannot be pulled out, as it sinks down inside the door, and there is no external locking/unlocking mechanism to use the key to manually unlock the passenger side door. Dealer said there was nothing wrong with it, but brought it into the shop to look at it, where the temperature is higher than freezing.
