Summary2023 F-Super Duty, 2023-2024 Expedition and 2024 Nautilus vehicles will exhibit no light emitting diode (LED) confirmation from the key fob indicating that the vehicle has remote started (or not remote started). Factory key fobs with remote start no longer contain a LED feedback indicator. Do not replace the key fob for this condition. This is a normal operating characteristic and no service action is necessary.

To correct this condition, perform the Service Procedure below to reprogram the PCM to the latest software level via the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS).

Some 2018-2024 Navigator and Expedition vehicles may exhibit a concern where the second row seat back does not fold down or recline when the recline handle is pulled upward or the second row single seat easy entry seat fold switch is pressed. This concern may occur with vehicles equipped with two or three second row seats. This may be due to a broken recliner release lever. To correct this concern, replace the recliner release lever.

SummarySome 2023-2024 Expedition/Navigator vehicles equipped with a roof opening panel built on or before 01-Nov-2023 may exhibit a water leak into the vehicle interior from the driver or passenger front corner area of the roof opening panel. This may be due to a kinked or misrouted roof opening panel drain hose. If this condition is present, refer to Workshop Manual, Section 501-17, Pinpoint Test B6 for Navigator or Pinpoint Test C6 for Expedition to check drain hose flow. Make sure the vehicle is parked on level ground. If drain hose flow is normal, continue diagnosis using Pinpoint Test B for Navigator or Pinpoint Test C for Expedition starting at the beginning.

Enter the vehicle identification number (VIN) in Professional Technician System (PTS) and check the OTA Dashboard under the Connected Vehicle tab for OTA update history. Vehicle may also have diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P07E6 and/or P07E4 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) or transmission control module (TCM) and/or a possible audible noise. This may be due to a leak in the park valve circuit. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to inspect the park system hardware for wear or damage and replace the valve body separator plate with an improved valve body separator plate.

SummarySome 2017-2023 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with a 10R60/10R80/10R80 MHT/10R100 transmission may exhibit a whine noise at idle and/or while driving. This may be identified as coming from the bellhousing and the front of the transmission fluid pan. The whine noise may become louder when the transmission is at operating temperature and may increase with engine revolutions per minute (RPM) in the park (P) position. A small amount of whine noise is considered to be characteristic of the 10R60/10R80/10R80 MHT/10R100 transmissions due to the offset gear drivetrain in the front support and has no effect on durability. Use the Report a Vehicle Concern link at the bottom of OASIS to submit a report if there is a customer concern of whine noise describing operating conditions and noise severity.
