The oil pump failed in May. Resulting in blowing my motor. Broke down at a red light which I would say is unsafe !!! My car has been at the ford dealership in Athens since May. I need a car!! I haven’t had a car since may . I’m not paying for a rental weekly when I wouldn’t even be without a car if not for this recall. I need something done to get me a working drivable car!

On [XXX] a low engine oil pressure light came on. I checked my oil and it was fine. I contacted ford and they told me there was a recall but my car was still safe to drive. On [XXX] the engine light came on as well as the same warning. Upon leaving work my car lost acceleration and all power to the car including the brakes. I had it towed to ciocca ford of york pa. I am now without a car and keep getting the run around about approval for a loaner car. I am unable to trade the car in since it will be at the dealership for a lengthy time which is affecting my chances of getting financing for another vehicle since I still have an auto loan. The component that failed/is malfunctioning is the Drivers side front Hub assembly. It could be available for inspection depending on date and time that it is needed to be inspected… My safety and others were put at risk because if I kept driving with this it could snap my entire tire off, rip my whole brake line out, and this being my drivers side could result in my getting ripped into oncoming traffic.. No manufacture has inspected it, no police have inspected it, only my boyfriend and I and a mechanic that was going in to replace brakes on my car. The only determination I have of this part being “recalled” is due to an auto parts store calling and telling me the part they ordered has to be sent back due to defect/recall on the manufacturers side. There have been no type of warnings at all besides stuff regarding my anti-lock system failing
